Went for the first time to try the food with my wife this past weekend. I got the Italian hoagie and she got the the Turkey and Havartiand for dessert I got the Blueberry and Almond Bread Pudding. My sandwich for the price was less than expected. It was tiny! I could have bought a bigger sandwich from Jimmy John's for same price and quality. My wife's sandwich was really good! so I was pretty jealous. But the dessert more than made up for my disappointment in my sandwich. In fact I would come here just for the bread pudding and be more than satisfied with just that!

My husband and I both enjoy visiting. The Deli has delicious homemade specials, its fun to watch the meat market workings while we eat in the cozy loft. Many of the meats offered for sale are made on site. They also offer local choices for meat, cheese, honey, maple syrup etc. If you are looking for international treats - they've got them. Yum!!

Excellent deli with classic sausages, baloney, and cheese. Very kind and personable staff. Can't wait to go back. There is an in-house sandwich shop as well.

The service is fast, they are very busy at lunchtime. Be prepared to wait about 10-15 minutes. Good food. Reuben sandwich not grilled, bread got a bit mushy. But lots of meat and served warm. Pie was good, but crust was wet from condensation in cooler.

The meat counter is phenomenal but don't go for lunch. The food is on the expensive side and it is common for them to mess up or entirely miss orders. For as much attention to detail they seem to put into everything else it's a shame they are so lacking in this regard. They do have the best bologna, beef jerky, and cheese selection in town I just recomend you pick it up from the meat counter and enjoy it at home.

We've heard great reviews about this place and how the food was excellent. The two sandwiches that we ordered probably would have been excellent if they hadn't have used the center heart of the iceberg lettuce on their sandwiches. I think they should be a little more quality conscious than quantity.

Travis and his daughter Meg, Eric and krystsl were A+ in hospitality!! I travel around the USA on my BMW motorcycle. I would go out of my way 200 miles to revisit this establishment. Great food and drinks but most of all the people connection. Thank you guys

Disappointed in breakfast here. Ordered the bacon, cheese, burrito. It was dry, mostly tater tots and tortilla. Couldn't find the bacon. Expected way more from this meat shop. Coffee was good but had to wait 15 minutes for it at 8am and they weren't even busy. Hopefully the meats I purchased at the counter will make up for the bad experience on the restaurant side.

We come North in the summer to workamp. Found this gem 2yrs ago, we always take items back with us when we leave. They have the best dried beef, it also freezes well, we've also tried the beef sticks hot dogs, ham and chicken salad plus other meats from the case. We have never been disappointed in anything we've bought.

This is what a meat market should be the cuts are select the beef is local. The customer service is friendly and speaks to why I always come back to the state no matter where I have lived. Honestly it's one of my favorite places to shop when in Pella.

This is an outstanding meat counter, especially for fresh ground beef and steak, as well as any pork products. The prices are only slightly higher than at a supermarket, and the quality is far beyond anywhere else in town.

I highly recommend the spiced Dutch beef sandwich and the beef burger. The only recommendation I have is to lightly toast the buns so they don't get soggy.

Great place to purchase freshly ground hamburger (Do it themselves daily) and any other meat I like to get to smoke in my Green Mountain pellet grill. Great Service!
