This place keeps getting worse. The parking lot may as well be a gravel road, it would be smoother. The help is rude and I am sorry, but Walmart does not pay me to work there. If you have time to stand over me while I check myself out, you have time to do it yourself. After all, one of us is getting paid to be there, the other is spending hard earned money in your store. Don't bark orders at me while I am trying to check out! I missed training day!Hire some help that wants to work. Most of your associates are standing around chatting with one another, yet are too busy to do anything productive. How about bring in some carts ( see picture) out over half the road.

Wanted to buy plants. I was inside fence, worker wouldn't open fence to look at the other plants. She said they didn't have enough people working, yet her & another girl were standing there texting & giggling. Smh...

This Walmart really sucks. They told me a faulty product and I went in there the next week to exchange it and they didn’t even have the product so I asked him to give me something similar and the person said no so I asked for Supervisor. She told me no and I asked her manager, and the manager was a rude snotty pink haired lazy snob that couldn’t care less of taking care of a customer. I will never do business with this Walmart again. Pathetic customer service. If I could rate it a 0 I would. Walmart is the laughing stock in the neighborhood

Online orders are often an issue due to poor selection by the store shopper. Make sure to check the expiration dates on everything you purchase. Nearly every order we’ve picked has items that expire within a day or two. Having said that customer service does correct and re-shop the items, but it is an inconvenience to need to return to the store to pick up the replacements. This has primarily been an issue with the meat chosen to fill our orders.

I shop here out of shear necessity, which is rare. Pretty horrible place overall. And it appears the management treats their "associates" poorly from the conversations I couldn't retreat from while trying to get the repugnant self-checkout junk to work.

If you’re a trucker the best time to go to Walmart is super early, you’ll find parking easy. This Walmart was barely full at 6 am. We parked, shopped for 15 minutes and left. No one bothered us.

Lately this Walmart has been going down hill. They replaced the rolling self check out tables with cheap plastic tables, i wait forever for some one to mix paint for us. The managers some times have self check out open but have to have some one to watch over even tho you are already!!!! On camera for self check out. Ie: no one there two watch you even tho your being recorded no self check out available. Really sucks that there’s not another store to go to unless you wanna travel. Forcing people to shop here.

First time visiting here and was very happy to find everything I was looking for, and then some. I have to use an electric scooter to get around and glad to find one that was fully charged. I was also lucky enough to find a cashier. Self check out can be a pain with a scooter. And especially inconvenient for any shoppers who buy a lot of items. So finding a cashier open was like gold lol! I had quite a bit of stuff. The cashier person was very pleasant and helpful. She even took the initiative to help get my bags into my basket. Each person I encountered here, associates as well as customers, were all quite nice and helpful. I'll have to come here again next time I'm near town. Thanks.

We had to go pick up money from Walmart to Walmart and two employees just standing around in the area chit chatting. Didn't bother to acknowledge us or say we'll be right with you. Husband spoke up and asked if they were going to help us or ignore us. Amanda one of the employees had the nerve to say " if your gonna be like that I wont help. Husband replied you guys saw us walk in and ignored us.Walmart has the rudest employees but expect customer to be nice to them

Like any other Walmart shopping center! Restrooms in front of store messy and never have enough toilet paper or a broken sink! But I have to admit the employee at self checkout was sweet!

I've been to better Walmarts!This is where I do most of my shopping, but in my travels I find it 75 to 80% among Walmart stores.

Can't give it 5 since I have to ck out myself. Takes me 2 times as long as it does with an experienced checker. My travel time is valuable, and I could have been down the road much quicker to my next stay.The best part was to shop the morning after the 4th of July as you pretty much have the place to yourself.

I broke my eyeglasses while on a trip. Stopped in about 20 minutes before optical center opened and the employee (not yet with name tag on so I don't know her name) helped me. Did the necessary repairs. Made my day.Thanks so much.

This store is the absolute worst Walmart I have ever been to!!! My daughter has epilepsy and went there today with her and she had a grand mal seizure in a department not busy, took time to have the seizure and come around and we had items in the cart and managed to get to the checkout where there was one open with a person checking out and nobody in line, my daughter clearly looked unwell, the checker kept looking over at other workers not paying any attention to us, then we go to leave and the door thief monitor demands to see my reciept! I have her sit down on the bench in case another seizure is coming while I try to dig said reciept out of my bag where I had shoved it with my change, and she demands it again while she stands on her little square that I think she's not allowed to move off of it because otherwise why doesn't she come over to me. So I have to leave my daughter to possibly have a seizure on the bench while this troll has to peruse my receipt to see if I'm stealing my paper towels. This treatment is absolutely stupid! Why go to a checkout with a person if we are going to have to prove we aren't a thief every time we go to leave? Why do they watch us scan everything ourselves to be accosted at the door for our reciept. This happens every time I shop at this store. There was one time we were told by one of the watchers that we hadn't rang up the toilet paper because it was a separate purchase from the other things and we hadn't finished with everyone scanning what they were getting. When did this store decide every person that enters to shop at this store needs to be treated like a criminal thief instead of an honest paying customer? Other places to shop people where you don't get treated like your a thief!!

Really really find it frustrating when the staff is stocking huge carts of stuff during busy hours. Used to stock over night. Should probably consider doing that again or ill jus avoid walmart period. Also the produce and meat section is disgusting. Always

It was really nice to see everyone wearing masks. Even if it is mandatory not everyone wears one!! The staff was very friendly, several employees offered to help me! Big difference than other Wal-Mart's!!

They could not return an item I purchased through online pickup with my debit card b/c they said I had no receipt. Daulton couldn't understand you don't get a paper receipt when you order online. He kept telling me it had to go on a gift card. After numerous "team leaders" I finally got a manager to do it the right way after over 30 minutes at the return counter. I do not recommend this store!

It's a medium-sized supercenter, unlike Altoona or Des Moines. It's easier to find items and don't have to walk as long to one side of the store to the other. Employees seem to be friendliest compared to the other stores.

I really hate the fact there are never any cashiers working. The few staff they have working are always stocking. If I wanted to sack and scan my stuff if go to self checkout.. I'm one that likes to have an actual cashier, also stores can't accuse you of not paying for all the items ( which Walmart has done frequently to several people). BRING THE CASHIERS BACK TO STORES!!!

Bought 250 dollars of groceries went to check out , no checkers! Will never shop again there ! HY VEE OR SAFEWAY , if I wanted to be a cashier I'd applied ,doesn't seem I save anything either and if a person can stand there watching you and the store doesn't trust you maybe a cashier is the answer ! Take all the billions the Walton clan made and pay your people what they deserve and quite sponging off the shoppers !

This is a nice store. A little smaller than most stores i think. Was clean & not too busy. No wait at checkout (with a real checkout cashier)! She was pleasant but they should train them to sack groceries better. I was in around 9pm on a Thursday. It wasn't very busy. The store looked cleaner than it did my last visit. Went right through self checkout. So it was great. No complaints this time in. This Newton store is smaller & doesn't have as many options as the bigger stores. I don't spend as much time getting through this store, so I like that! It was very clean tonight.

7-23-23 Tried to return a faulty coffee maker, which I had the receipt for and only used for a month, but was purchased slightly over 90 days. Absolutely rude and not willing to help. No response from manufacturer either. Thanks for leaving me hang Newton walmart. Thankful for Pella walmart, they were kind and curtious, and returned it for me. 1 year manufacturer warranty worthless. Instantpot is instantjunk.
