I went with my grandma to this clinic for her cat having trouble peeing. My first impression of the little clinic is that it is so cute! And everyone there is smiling and helpful. The lady who took us back was so kind and seemed very learned. She wasn't frustrated when we asked lots of questions. The little waiting area was very nice, with comfortable chairs, little animal toys, treats, accessories, and food to look at. As well as a little table to keep children busy at with stuffed animals, puzzles and books.The environment was clean and calm, holiday music was playing and you could tell everything was in tip top shape. 10/10 experience!

The staff is all amazing. I have worked closely with most of the vets on staff and they are all great! We have had large animal farm calls and small animal office calls and always had great experience all around. Prices are very fair and reasonable. I drive 40 min to go to this vet because they are so great! Highly recommend for all species and sizes of animals and livestock.

Words can not describe the gratitude I have for Dr Duffy and Dr Burrack taking care of my gentle giant King Storm!! I hope they know how much I appreciate everything they did for him and I. It breaks my heart to have our time cut short. I know they did what they could, and I felt the compassion they have for not just doing their job, but the sincerity Dr Burrack gave over the weekend is held dearly in my heart. Thank you!! I love the way they make you feel like they actually care for you and your pet. I am forever grateful. 💔 I hope Storm can carry a legacy.

I am embarrassed by this. I can only say that this was for the old clinic who actually cared!!!I called the emergency number on Monday April 8th for my my dog who couldn't breath. She had been ok before this in fact she was just in and had gotten checked out. Other than being over weight they said she was ok. The vet who answered had no answers other than using a Nebulizer, which we didn't have, or steam. BUT ANYBODY SEEING HER KNEW SHE NEEDED OXYGEN AND NOW. He never volunteered to help, she died in my arms. I tried mouth to mouth but to no use she died. I wished they could have seen her panic face hoping mom to save her and I could not help her.We are now going to Manchester Vet Clinic. If you treasure your pet please, please 🙏 go somewhere else!!

They have always allowed me to be a part of my animals care! Including surgery, grooming, ext... and allow my feedback as an owner. I appreciate that as my pets are my kids! Most places will not allow you in the room while performing certain procedures, and I have had the pleasure of being able to help deliver my own pups c section with their help, of course.

They gave us the wrong ashes. When we had our cat cremated through them. The bag they gave us had an different animals name on it (written by the company who did the cremation) and they put a sticker with our cats name on it to cover it up. and to think we paid an extra 15 dollars to insure what we were getting back was our cat. would give zero stars if possible. Also when we would ask for any vet other than Lange they would send us him anyway and he would gaslight us and acted as though we were nuisances.

In my opinion, this is hands down the best and most affordable veterinary clinic in Eastern Iowa. I have taken small animals here for many years and have never been disappointed with the care they've received! Recently we added a new puppy to our family and Monticello was the only vet I contacted that had availability for her puppy shots in a reasonable amount of time, and at an affordable price! Highly recommend them to everyone I know over anywhere in the CR area or Anamosa!

Very clean facility! I had a fantastic visit and the receptionist was so kind and willing to help with scheduling. The Veterinarian we had did an amazing job and handled my pet with great care. My cat was so comfortable (which I've never seen from a pet while in a vet clinic). Everyone was so welcoming. The vet did a thorough exam on Celeste and made sure to explain what was going on as well as answer all of my questions. Definatly my new permanent vet clinic!

Best vets, vet techs and staff around. They're caring and compassionate with your animals, have taken my 8 yr lab/boxer to them since she was a pup and now they are making sure she is comfortable in her late stage lymphoma. Highly recommend them!

This is place has been out choice for health care with all our animals. Dogs, cats, and even a bird (nail trimming). The staff here (all of them) are always so upbeat, sweet and knowledgeable. The team that is here is top-notch! We couldn't be happier! Out dogs are always nervous to go but once they see their human friends there, tails go nuts and kisses are on overdrive. Lol it's awesome to see these guys accept the love from our dogs (insane drool included) Thank you all so much for everything you do!

Reasonable prices. We've taken our pets here for years. Only complaint is you have to wait awhile for your appointment, seems they overbook their schedules, because there is always a wait when I am scheduled and you're seen 20 minutes after your appointment. Overall a great place.

I was told this place was an emergency place too. Well lo and behold I had an emergency with my baby girl they told me they could not accommodate her. Next day she passed away. Heartbreaking moment to see your baby kitten lifeless all because a vet clinic that does “emergency” didn’t want to do your emergency.

They were my dog Max's veterinarians and they treated him amazingly until we had to put him down because of his age and pain. Now I take my Cats to them and they are so nice to them and my boyfriend and I. We will also be taking the boyfriend's dog to them.

They are great. Always do a great job. My pet needs extra needs, he is very small and always has problems with his vacations. They take the time and efforts to keep him calm and as stress and pain free as possible. Love the staff.

All the staff are super friendly. I'm from cedar Rapids and go here because it's so much cheaper. I called all around and this is the best price. My two labs will always go here. They do a great job and always are super honest and fair.

Best place I have ever taken my fur babies to. Very compassionate when we had to put down a pet. Were very good when i have taken my rescue dogs to them. They take tome to let the pet get to know them and talk to them while looking at them. Wont ever go anywhere else.
