I stop here every morning for coffee (and sometimes a crispy bar), I also buy all of my dairy and gas from Kwik Star (Trip). The folks at this store are awesome, HappyGirl, Bensington, John and the rest, always good for friendly banter and a smile to start my day!

The creation of Mason City’s new Kwik Star is coming along nicely. The pumps will be on the South side with a car wash on the North side, entering from the West and exiting on the East. The building is brand new from the ground up.Check it out!

I went into kwikstar on hwy 65 south at 8:37 tonight on Feb 4th there was a gentleman behind the counter working when I first walked in he greeted me when I was next I paid for my fuel he did everything he was supposed to do he asked if I was a rewards member he asked if I needed any cookies or donuts today I said no thank you his appearance was very nicely dressed clean and tidy when I came back for my change for my gas he saw me coming and before I could even get up to the register he had my change in his hand already he is an excellent employee I wish more kwikstar had him for an employee I didnt catch his name though suck at remembering

I'm so excited Mason City has a Kwik Trip. Great gas prices, great weekly deals, and benefits. If I'm in Mason City this is where I go to get gas. And I always go inside to grab bananas, eggs, and anything else that's a great deal! Employees are super friendly and I love that this is a family-run business even though it's a chain.

Kwik Star / Kwik Trip are hands down top shelf fuel stops and truck stops. The store is stocked extremely well due to the excellent selection of goodies.Their coffee is superb. Hazelnut cinnamon creamer 🤪 delicious. Love it 😀

Be careful. If you pay with debit card outside, they will preauthorize you for 100$ without asking you. It took more than 20 min to get my money back even though I canceled the service and left right away

Was at store on south federal in mason city june 15th around 830. I have never been there when the store was sooo filthy. Besides some of the coffees being empty there was garbage all over floor there and all along the pop counter. The one girl at the counter had a coffee filter opened up on her head...as she waited on us she left that on her head...the other guy/girl was busy visiting with a friend and ignored another customer that stood there waiting..my husband told them to shut up and help the other guy and they looked at him and went back talking...ignoring customer...what a disgrace

This is a Good Gas Station. This Gas station has Good Customer Service, Nice Staff, a Variety of Hot Food including their Cheese Filled Breadstick which are 3.19 and the Glaziers donuts in the Kwikery (Donut Area near the Coffee and Fountain Drinks) is 99 cents. The Best Buddy the cup I got was 1.79. Their Donuts are good and In My Opinion rank above Casey's Donuts. Kwik Star is one of the best gas stations with Yesway and Casey's. - Shy_Gun670

If their gas ever causes a problem with your vehicle, they pay the repair bill. That’s kinda cool. As a single mom, I watch for those things. I have to get gas, really can’t afford any unexpected repair bills because of it. Too good to be true?My teenage son drives 50 miles plus a day, always used kwik star gas. He decided to get a car wash there too recently and came out of the car wash with gas spraying out from under his car right by the driver’s door. Not leaking, spraying. He went inside to get staff to help clean it up. The store lead watched the video and said one of the spray nozzles was clogged and increased pressure from another nozzle had punctured his gas line. Ten miles from home on a Sunday night but I’m raising adults and saw a good learning opportunity that I thought was fail proof. He arranged for the tow truck and repair shop, and made the insurance claim for damages caused by faulty equipment, failed maintenance (with parental guidance). They denied his claim, stating that for minor routine claims it isn’t part of the investigation to review videos and properly functioning equipment wouldn’t have caused damage. So…something else caused the damage between when he entered and then exited the car wash? Now my teenage son has a $1500 bill he’s learning how to be adult about and make payments towards and he’s learned how it feels to get cheated by a big business. Welcome to adulthood.Kwik Star gets a couple stars for offering a gas guarantee but fails miserably overall. They saved $1500 but lost a lifetime of business from at least one future adult driver, and a good share everyone else who he tells about it for a little while.Lesson learned-There’s always Casey’s not too far away, no car wash but probably a better sense of Iowa values. Who knows- maybe they’ll automatically pay any repair bills for damages they cause just because it’s the right thing to do even if they don’t toot their own horn about it!

I encountered roof nails on their property in my tires. Others had this problem as well as evident on facebook and the mason city police scanner. I contacted them and they were unwilling to make it right. I asked them why they hadn't swept for nails or put cones out on their north entrance to prevent their customers from having experiences like mine. John their manager claimed that this is the first he heard of it which I find hard to believe since others had nails in their tires the other day and even the cops showed up and picked up some nails according to mason city police scanner. He wouldn't help me and wouldn't give his bosses number out. I'm left to contact corporate in which I'm waiting to hear back from them.

My golf team and I stopped here for gas and a quick bite to eat. I must say, this gas station exceeded any and all of my expectations. They had cleanly bathrooms along with friendly and helpful staff... not to mention their broasted chicken was to die for. This chicken was a great deal, let me tell you. It was borderline concerning how cheap it was. I’m talking $3 for two chunks of quality chicken. They also provided me with complimentary ketchup and mayonnaise packets. The experience was 10/10 and the chicken was, simply put, to die for.

Their store is very clean and neat. I recommend them if you need bread,milk, eggs, and produce and bananas. Their service is top notch. I love it when they say "see you again next time". With those kind words it keeps me going back again and again. I'm glad Mason City Iowa has a couple more coming in.

I recently purchased a net spend card from the Mason City store and could not activate the card. I've been in touch with net spend and they both keep passing the buck. Normally I would not complain but it was 100 dollars and I didn't get a stimulus check. I taken the proper steps and have a receipt but still no refund.

I worked at a Kwik Trip up in Rochester, MN and grew up in Mason City all my life. This is a good opportunity for Mason City to have something nice in that town. NOT a huge fan of their tunnel wash, hope they get a touch less on for the second gas station they are building soon.I always grew up with Kum and Go and since they are almost becoming instinct, it's good to see a new gas station up. I hope they build a Kwik Trip by the high school to give Hyvee competition since they over run Mason City.
