The place is pretty, but they carry very similar products to other local boutiques and have a much higher mark up than others. I was in a few weeks before Christmas and asked if there were any specials, and the employee said no. It's pretty uncommon in locally owned businesses this time of year. I did make an outlandish purchase, however, for convenience, and no gift wrap option was offered, also uncharacteristic of a small town boutique.

The Market Place is a great girls day out! Grab you mom, girlfriends and sisters and make it a day trip. I live in Omaha and struggle to find shops like this that have a lot of Womens sizes because I am definitely not a one size fits all gal. It is also one of my favorite home decor shops! The coffee is always on and tasty. I love that it is a one stop shop and you don't have to run all over town. Make the trip I would bet money you won't leave empty handed.

One of my favorite day trips to take any time of year! I like to escape in this shop for an hour drinking coffee, walking around (several times as there is so much to look at) and enjoying the atmosphere. It's a shop in the middle of Iowa with amazing items that are always in style - boho or simple, natural textures, ghaaaa love this place!

Just love The Market Place. The store is so welcoming in its arrangement, gives you lots of warm fuzzies. And the lattes are the best and can be tailor made!!

The Market Place is such an adorable store. They have all kinds of things tucked away in small town, Iowa. You can find very unique one of a kind items here. Adorable decor, furniture, clothing and shoes, baby clothes and accessories and right now they even have spa items. Plus, they serve up coffee too. Their coffee is delicious and I highly recommend trying the honey bee latte.
