Clean and quiet - a perfect stop for the night. Easy on/off from I-35. Nothing fancy but the place didn't have any weird smells. Breakfast included!

This small hotel has few amenities, but overall it offers a comfortable night's rest for a modest price. It is conveniently right off I-35 and the nearby Maid-Rite Restaurant, I've heard, is very good. The room was clean, the beds clean and comfortable, and the building, although old, was kept up. The rooms are small and the beds seemed smaller than full-size, if that's possible (they weren't twin-size). The breakfast didn't amount to much: yogurt, pre-packaged breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, cereal, toast, and bagels.

The room was very clean and updated. By the lobby and exterior, you wouldn't really know it, but we were pleasantly surprised by the rooms. Pet friendly. They have a free breakfast which is only average. Only drawback is the size of the breakfast area is very small with only 2 tables. Also very cold in lobby, but outdoor temps were below zero. $81 + pet fee was expensive though for the area and the amenities.

The Rodeway Inn was conveniently right off of I-35 with fuel right next door. It looks like the interior was recently renovated and the management was very helpful and flexible. I needed a pit stop off of I-35 to take virtual work calls and the Rodeway gave me a very fair price to use the room as my mobile office for a couple hours. The room was clean with a nice desk, and the wifi was high speed.

The room had a very bad smell in the carpet that doesn't go away after spraying Lysol and I needed to check out early and they said I couldn't check n tried to force me to stay another night 😡 They kept my money and tried to charge me a 3rd time for that Garbage Room While I was headed back home! I have NEVER BEEN SO PISSED! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANY OF MY FRIENDS OR FAMILY!

My son was abandoned by his girlfriend and needed a place to stay. Andy was soooo nice and offered to give my son a ride from the hotel he was staying at. The room was nice, clean and had a good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through this small town. Really sweet and nice people.

This Roadway Inn is a great place to stay. Housekeeping (Lisa) & front desk staff (Jack & Emma) are a pleasure to deal with. Unfortunately we had an issue with our CC. It was due to a Wells Fargo Bank technical issue. It was All over the news. When speaking with Andy the owner trying to resolve issues he was condescending to me and started cursing at me. Told my husband that I was lying about Wells Fargo. I decided to pay for my WEEK'S stay with cash so no further issues, I was then told I had to pay a $50 deposit on my account after paying for the room for a week with cash. This trip was business and some family time but I've never been treated so rudely by an owner. Maybe he just had a bad day not sure. But we do like the hotel and rooms are clean and beds are great. Location is great! Overall great trip and stay! We will be back.

A nice, cozy location for one night while traveling. I recommend it. The beds were by far the best one of the ones I stayed on, the rooms were nice and clean as well. I slept between nine days and three weeks in the Home2 suites and Hilton, and their beds were terrible. I slept like a baby here

I haven't actually stayed at this location but, I saw an ad offering sheet and towels to any rescue needing them. (not up to their standards for guests anymore) I was happy to pick them up as I'm starting a rescue for Decatur and Ringgold Counties in Iowa to help the numerous animals being dumped or left to fend for themselves. They were still in good shape for us to use as bedding and cleaning. Thanks!

Staff was friendly. Clean inside and out. The ice machine isn’t located in a good spot when people fill coolers at 5:00a.m.. at check in after 3:00 rooms weren’t ready and gentleman said he’d call when they were but never did . We just showed up after 6:00 when we got off work and then they were ready.

The inn has been recently updated with new carpets,furniture, and paint. The mattresses have not and were severely broken down. I also saw signs of spiders nesting in the ceiling/wall intersection. The breakfast was an automatic pancake machine. Hopefully the owners keep up with maintenance and pest control. Otherwise this Rodeway will look like the rest of the others that are neglected.

Booked a room two weeks prior to staying. Called and doubled check two nights before arriving. Check in time on website said anytime after 3 pm. Attended a wedding and arrived to the hotel around midnight. They said we no longer had a room. Thankfully there was a room available yet. Had to put $50 down (refundable) on top of room fee for any caused damage or smoking in room. Room smelled terrible, smelt of smoke and mildew. Furniture in room was very disappointing. Do not recommend!

Clean. Quiet. King room spacious with comfy bed. Appliances outdated but work, so not an issue.Located in an Amish town so not much nearby but there are a few places to eat (Amish restaurant, diner, Subway, Pizza Hut, Dollar General, Hyvee grocery store, Kym & Go fuel station).I'm a commercial driver and decided to stop here. Would definitely book again.

COCKROACHES!!! It’s dirty! Saw a cockroach climbing up the wall so we took pictures and took the bug down to the front desk! Owner/manager guy could care less!! He refused to do anything about it! I was shocked! He was extremely rude about it, making it seem like we were in the wrong for wanting them to make it right!! Then tried to say that we probably brought it in from hiking in the woods!! Wouldn’t even let us cancel the last night or give us money back. Management said we can pack up and leave anytime but we’re still going to get charged! They don’t deserve to be in business!

Dont let exterior fool you. The rooms are well maintained. Only thing I found in my room was curtain hanger came loose. Rooms are small and no elevators. But it's a great rest stop after a long drive.Bonus: There are apple trees out front that produce very delicious fruit and a nice pad for picnics or cookouts.

My fiance, and I live in MN, and our car broke down. Not only was the hotel service very pleasant, and very accommodating. They also picked us up from the side of the rode, and gave us a ride back to the hotel. The AC was perfect our room was very comfortable. It was a perfect over night stay.
