Always great when they treat my pets. The vet knows what he is doing and had my pets there for checkups and fixings. He is a great person.Some people keep complaining about the way he is, but he is a vet and cares about the animals. He is not a human doctor so obviously he would care more about the animalsPrices are great and cheap. I would highly recommend him for any pets big or small. He knows his stuff and is really quick at getting you in and out.

I know both vets personally. Both have gone above and beyond for my animals. Stu is rough and tough and hard to bluff, but he has always been there for me when I was fretting over my girls and cares deeply about animals even if he sometimes does not show it. Coming out in the middle of the night to save my cow and not charging nearly enough for a housecall, helping me say goodbye to my dogs in a sensitive and professional way without thinking I was overly emotional. They have given me a shoulder to cry on many times. Never said too busy to come in and help me. When I found a tiny kitten late one evening that had been hit by a car. Tom came in well after hours and helped me put the tiny baby to rest and would not charge me. (we made him take our money).

The Dr did an excellent job removing a very large growth and spaying my little girl. She's doing great and doesn't seem to be in much pain. Very happy with the whole staff, as always.

Walked in my dog got a deep cut close to the nose deep cut but by time I was there bleeding had stopped due to the pressure my daughter had put in it. Per vet cut was starting to close & he did not need to even glue it there for did not charge me just for checking. He was really nice to us!

Unprofessional and rude. Took pup there for first shots. Pup had not been inside a building and barked. We were told to go outside in the cold because he barked and they had other clients. This vet ONLY takes cash. I didn't know this before I came. I didn't see a sign that stated cash only on website. His mannerism as a vet was rude and he rudly asked if I was ready though I waited for over 20 minutes waiting for him. All I wanted was for my pup to have shots not a hassel to get them.WORST VETERINARIAN EXPERIENCE EVER! DONT GO BELIEVE ME YOUR BETTER OFF PAYING EXORBANT PRICES FOR BETTER SERVICE ELSEWHERE!

My large breed dog broke her leg at 9pm on sunday and Dr. Silver meet me at me there in 15 mins. He was very good with my dog and gave her an anesthetic then set her leg and wrapped it in a very nice splint, then gave me some material and a bunch of info and knowledge to care for her leg. Was leaving the vet at 9:45 and that included me going to an atm to get the fair fee of $50. He did a wonderful job with the splint. Will take all my business there.

I called this vet after finding a pregnant, wounded dog on the side of the interstate. Not only was he upset with me for calling after hours, but he seemed very upset that I contacted him about the situation to begin with. I would never trust this man to care for any of my animals.

If I could rate a zero, I would. We took our dogs in today for a pre teeth cleaning visit. Given how nervous our little Jack Russell was, we should have just left. (ALWAYS pay attention to your pet's body language...)This "Vet" (I use the term loosely...) asked my Dad to hold her head so he could look at her teeth. The dog was terrified, and fighting, the "Vet" was getting irritated, so I opted to end the visit and leave.As I was walking out the door, my mother yelled at the "Vet" to let go of her dog. I turned around, and he had her up off the table, one hand around her throat, the other at the base of her skull to show my dad how to hold her. She was choking, her legs were flailing.DO NOT bring your pet to this person. He certainly doesn't deserve to have a license.

While I'm sure there may be other Vets that work from this office, the one that provided large animal care on our farm was interested in leaving as soon as he got there. Rushing our work flow nearly cost us a cow. There was nothing major going on at all. The weather was fine, the processes simple. The only thing that caused risk to injury to our livestock was the poor attitude of the veterinary.

If I could give zero stars I would. This vet is very unprofessional and rude. I gave this vet 3 chances to improve customer service and nothing changed. To me customer service is everything and this vet has none of it. Pay extra money or drive extra miles to go somewhere else.

I went to pick up my sister's cat with her around 3:30 pm after getting her "fixed". Upon getting in the car with the cat carrier we noticed that the cats fur was completely saturated in her own urine. Then came the smell.... we Iooked inside the carrier only to fine the whole bottom was filled with urine almost splashing out into the car. We had to immediately tilt the carrier to the back to not spill urine everywhere in the car.I called the clinic upon getting home and asked how long she had been in her carrier after surgery. The secretary said she had been in the crate for about "15-20 minutes". She said she was in the crate for as long as the vet had been back from giving shots to some larger livestock at someone's farm. I'm not sure if they took us as idiots but there is no way in hell that cat could have urinated that volume of fluid that was present in the carrier. It was absolutely appalling and downright inhumane!Our cat had surgery early in the morning (as all places, vet or your regular doctors office, do surgery) and was thrown in the kennel for the rest of the day to lay in her own urine. This is not the only negative encounter I have had with Dr. Silver over the years but we will never bring our animals there again to be abused/neglected. Not only should the way he practices medicine be in question, but so should his horrible attitude and clear disinterest in treating animals with dignity and respect. DO NOT BRING YOUE PET HERE!

And all he could say was u get some cash cuz we cash only then we could help ya out and before I could even ask him how much the fees are he hung up on me..no goodbye ..anything else I could help you with ..or even hear what I had to say he hung up on me..really.. thx man..real professional and just think I was gonna let u look at my dog ..

I called 12/6 with a colt got steel post between the front shoulders and told him she wasnt letting me close but i would get her in barn. He replied back said " what do you want me to do about it?" I said you no what your the vet i need her checked out but obviously you dont want to help so i call someone who does.

We were told by Tom Pease that he didn't have time to look at our dog that was in dyer need of care. He told us that we needed to go some where else. Our dog died before we could make it to DesMoines emergency care. In my opinion he should be stopped from practicing and never allowed to practice again. If there is even one star on the rating, it was because I had to put one in order to post this. On the phone you said you know all about me Tom. Just got my dogs nails cut. Doesn't accept cards so I had to go get cash and he was nice about it. I travel all the way from cainsville,MO everytime we need anything.
