Love the vintage display of the original restaurant. I visited my grandparents there in Fort Dodge often we ate at that place.The nostalgia.... warming the heart.Disappointed in the pie cost for the tiny slices, one lemon and one French silk.The same great flavor... but man to get pennies back on 10.00.. 4 or five bite and tons of crust....I got them to go so I was definitely disappointed.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access

Lived up to my expectations of a Village Inn. Menu has a lot of options no matter the time you visit. Nice atmosphere.

Really bad service and attitude from our waitress. She basically slammed a cup on our table to serve coffee. Then she took around half an hour to come back to our table to place the order. During that time we decided to just leave and go somewhere else to have our breakfast; so when she came back we just told her that we wanted the check, in a rude voice tone she asked us if that was going to be the only thing we were planning to consume.

Food was good but when I talked to waitress about getting husband & son's orders wrong she argued with me and then stood 2 booths away, where the kitchen staff was on break, complaining about it loud enough for us to hear. Then the cooks were complaining about it loud enough for us to hear. She took the order wrong but couldn't admit it & made us out to be bad customers.

Delicious grown up grilled cheese! Yum! Parmsean herb bread, grilled with 4 cheeses, bacon and tomato! Tasted the chicken fried steak and it was so good! Since it was Wednesday, we got a free slice of pie too. Our server and cashier were very nice. Place was clean and not too busy. ****I cannot stress enough how comforting and delicious the Eggs Benedict was.

Awesome experience! The place looked full but the service was right on it and got us a table !! We really did not wait that long maybe 5 min ? Got waited on right away and once ordered it did not take that long at all the food was hot and really delicious!!! The gal who waited on us was very attentive even tho it was extremely busy .... Was a great experience for us that day !!! Thank you !!

Our server Jocelyn was excellent with the service up until we got our checks, then there were no more refills offered despite my table mates having empty glasses. I understand its the end of the meal but we sit and visit after for a while in an otherwise slow night. I was overall very pleased with the service as I worked there when I was younger and the way I was trained to serve customers is the standard by which I judge all service now. Food was as I expected it to be.

Visited with family today. Out of 7 meals 3 were ice cold. 1 was remade immediately. 2 we did not receive until over 25 minutes after rest of the food was delivered to the table. The manager Miranda did not seem to care. Everyone working had bad attitudes. No pleasant smiles and no one was courteous. As if we were an inconvenience to them. All 5 of us adults have worked food service jobs, so we do understand the staff's side of things. However, we know that if we had possessed these attitudes we would have been out of jobs.

Definitely was expecting something exactly like Perkins— from the decor to the food, this place is nothing like Perkins. And delish!

The manager was rude and me and my husbands food came out after everyone else. Then the other food was wrong and cold. Never had such bad service at this place before. Maybe you should treat the good employees right to keep them and get rid of the bad ones. Customers even commented on how good my kids behaved with waiting so long.
