Well worth the stop, I am over fast food and COVID has ruined truck stops and their restaurants. I had the ribeye, loaded baked potato, garlic toast and a refreshing beverage. Ample truck parking, service and food was excellent. Looking forward to a good night’s sleep and a hot breakfast in the morning. Support your small businesses or you will find yourself eating a cold sandwich from a chain restaurant across the street.

Hateful manager of the resturant. We usually go there 3 times a month and sometimes we have a party of 13 or more. We will not be returning because of something called "up charges" this was the first time we had even seen this hateful old broad, she informed us she was the manager and said if we had a problem with this charge let her know before she prepared our meal, we walked out and we will never return. Word of mouth goes a long ways.

Service was fast! I had the Ruben and steak fries with a glass of milk. Yummy I enjoy Ruben sandwiches! Chicken Alfredo was delicious as was the garlic bread and cucumber salad.

Very very nice home styled comfy restaurant! Exceptionally great tasting and hot food. Cooked fresh so the few minutes is worth the wait! This spot was filling up quickly as we sat waiting on our food. We had the gizzards as a starter (local fav) and they were the best gizzards I've had this far! We are from Chicago so I ordered the Corn beef on Rye (a Chicago fav) a slight difference from ours in Chicago but this juicy warm sandwich hit a home run! I took my time and savoured every bite! The fries were hot and crispy which was a delight! Nice locals and overall exceptional service!

Traveling through we decided to stop & eat here.What a pleasant surprise! I had the "Flash burger". Have you ever seen the TV show Diner's Drive in's & Dives? This should be on there! 1/2 lb beef patty covered with hash browns, fried onions, green peppers, mushrooms & cheddar cheese!! They even cooked it med rare for me. OMG!! SOOO GOOD!!! My wife got the chefs salad & was very good! The waitress was a sweetheart! Will definitely do this again if we're ever in the area!

Had Turkey Dinner Special. Was Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing, Green Bean Casterole and a roll for $12.00. Turkey was like pulled remnence of Turkey soaked in water. Stuffing was dried and nasty (stove top).Was absolutely disgusted in quality of food. Only thing nice was the small family restaurant and outdoors feeling enviroment.

Great food. Great service. Trucker sized portions.If I wasn't trying to bury my sadness and rage over the Iowa DoT's bs parking enforcement one would have been plenty.It was all delicious, but the Philly Omlet was the best part.Parking: Lots of truck parking.

The food in this restaurant was delicious. They serve breakfast all day which was a plus. Most of what they serve is homemade and the portions are large compared to the prices. It s located in a small truck stop gas station but when you enter the restaurant portion it feels like a cozy log cabin instead. We were traveling and I left wishing this restaurant was located near my home.

We had a wonderful experience… all the food was amazing. I had the smothered chicken.. 2 of us had the roast beef special and youngest had the cheeseburger. Has good food BUT the service can be very slow with a particular waitress. Not to mention, she is not very attentive and we feel ignored when this waitress is working . I see who is working first before we sit down and eat. They did hire another gal who is very attentive and she is very polite. I gave 3 stars due to the service one particular waitress provides. Otherwise food has never been bad.
