I can only say positive things about Heartland Animal Hospital! It is evident that they truly care about their furry patients and their owners. The convenience of their app for scheduling appointments and reminders is a game-changer, making managing Goose's appointments a breeze.The staff at Heartland Animal Hospital are incredibly friendly and welcoming. It's clear they have a genuine affection for animals, as they always greet Goose with enthusiasm and make him feel at ease during his visits. Their follow-up after Goose's surgery was exceptional, providing us with peace of mind knowing he was in good hands.I also appreciate how accommodating the vet is with all our questions and concerns. No matter how trivial they may seem, they always take the time to address them thoroughly, which has been incredibly reassuring as pet parents.Overall, Heartland Animal Hospital meets our expectations. We're grateful to have such a caring and professional team looking after Goose's health and well-being.

We needed an appointment for our cat. Even though they are very busy, they worked with me to get my cat in for care.The doctor was very kind and gentle with kitty. She asked a lot of questions to best gauge what might be going on.The clinic called later in the week to follow up and see how she was doing. They called again about a week later to report test results. Not only did they give test results, they followed up on how kitty was doing and whether we’d seen improvements. Very helpful in developing a plan to move forward and when we should call back, if necessary.

This is hands-down one of the absolute best Vet offices around. Every single person that works there is kind, considerate and will bend any way they can to help you and your pet. I've never had a bad experience there. They treat all my animals, even exotic, and I always feel that they are getting the best care and honest service from each visit. I recommend HAH every chance I get. Even when they are extremely busy they make time for you and make you feel so important. They just really care about your pets and you. They are truly the best.

This was our first visit to Heartland Animal Hospital in Fairfax after our old vet closed. We mixed up our appointment times for our cat and dog, so we were a little late, but the staff were very accommodating and still willing to squeeze us in. The vet tech who helped us was so sweet to our animals and made us feel like they were very loved and cared for. The vet did a good job of explaining things and answering all of our questions. The appointments were quick but thorough and checkout was easy.

Great service always friendly. Impressed by the way we got a room for me and my cat Tia. Right when we walked in the door. She is a very shy timid cat and the waiting room was full of dogs. Love that the staff goes above and beyond with care. The doctor and assistant handled Her vaccinations very professionally and made her feel comfortable when giving Tia her shots.We will be back again for her dental cleaning soon.Thank you

My pup has high anxiety and this was our first visit here and with a new vet. He started off hiding under my chair and by the end of the visit he was sitting relaxed on my lap. All of the staff were kind and very gentle with my pup! Glad we made the switch!

Dr. Loni gets to the bottom of issues. She's highly trained, curious and knowledgable. She understands the health issues my cats face and addresses them quickly and thoroughly. Her staff is also outstanding. Everyone there goes above and beyond to assist and comfort. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

I reached out the Heartland Cedar rapids for an emergency vet visit for my fur baby, although they were booked they quickly got him in at their Fairfax location. The Dr and staff were wonderful and kind. My baby is back on the mend thanks to these caring people. Top notch care with reasonable prices and availability to be seen urgently. Also want to note they took us into an exam room immediately at our scheduled appt time, examined him and performed a procedure in under an hour! I will be using them for the rest of my time in Iowa.

I just have to say, I thank these ladies from the bottom of my heart!! They took such good care of my baby and when it was time to say goodbye they comforted me as much as they could!! BIG THANK YOU, the card was amazing they told me I would get ink paw prints but totally surprised me with a cute nose and whisker print!! I luv it!! Was sosososo good to have!! Means the world!! I just started taking my pet to this clinic, but have been very impressed so far! I met with Dr. Sheryl Hansen and found her to be very patient and caring. She actually took the time to answer my questions. The staff is also so friendly! They even sent me a "Welcome" greeting card after our first appointment. Their business hours are so convenient and vet services are very reasonably priced. I can't say enough good things!

It was a bit of an emergency and even though my vet office in Marion was booked up, the receptionist that worked at both locations got us in here and they were able to do a surgery on my cat to save her. Lonnie came highly recommended by a veterinarian friend, but all of the staff here are amazing. They are super up front about costs and always treat the animals like their own. Our little guy Remy had an amazing experience from his first check up at 10 weeks to his last lime shot and checking out some conjunctivitis 3 months later. We look forward to having them as our vet clinic for many years to come.
