Walgreen store does a lot to maintain service quality but is pressured when their pharmacist have illnesses. They do a great job filling my prescriptions and food is good. 5 stars for Walgreens on se 14th and Cummings for not cracking under pressure and maintaining happiness.

I had a prescription sent in at 12:30pm. It did not get filled until I went through the drive through at 6:30pm and they grabbed it off the shelves then. I had called throughout the day about when it would be done because I had the most insufferable influenza symptoms and fever and they kept giving me time estimates that were never met. I am a patient person but 6 hours for a prescription to get filled is ridiculous.

DON'T USE THIS PHARMACY! My husband's doctor prescribed him a medication for a cough, sent it over to Walgreens, and they claimed they never "received" the rx but received the other meds that were prescribed along with it. His doctor sent it over, for a second time, and it magically appeared in the system. It was filled but only at 80% completion. This is not the first time he has been shorted on meds and not the first time his doctor has had to battle with them. This is the third time something similar to this has happened. Pharmacists should fill whatever med a doctor prescribes, unless they have been flagged for narcotic abuse, obviously. Let doctors do their job and help a patient feel better by getting them medications that are needed. And please, JUST BE HONEST. It's not that difficult. Save yourself some time and pick a different pharmacy. We will be going elsewhere here on out.

If I could put 0 stars I would. I paid for pictures online so I didn’t think to bring my card in with me. And they said I didn’t pay yet. So they charged me at the register. I get home and they had charged me twice, I asked for my money back and the same guy who did my pictures told me I have to come in sometime between 8-3 to get it back. Ridiculous

Seems to be their most popular rating.. and clearly they're unconcerned.I am irritated with the customer service. The cashier scanned my products and when I mentioned the 2nd item was ringing up wrong, the cashier informed me it was because I'm not a rewards member. But I am. (He scanned my card even!) So after the transaction I double checked my receipt and the shelf price. Discovered his error and went in search of a manager. Found her at the register assisting the cashier. So we spoke. She said she needed the items to adjust the price. So I asked her politely to remain there while I ran to retrieve the items from my car. When I returned, only a minute had passed, and she was gone. I was annoyed and told the cashier. He said they had discussed it and he assured her that he could handle the pricing discrepancy. Nevermind I had asked her to remain. If he was indeed capable, why was I required to return items to correct his error?I did return the items and left without attempting to have the issue corrected. It's obvious they aren't trying to improve their reputation.

The cashier didn't greet as I walked in, there was absolutely no customer service. When they finally noticed I needed help in photo after leaving the registers unattended they didn't say anything as they set things down. Their camera for passport pictures was broken as well.

me and my little sister came into the store because we live close and one of the workers tried to kick us out because perversely my little sister had stuff in her pockets and i did bot know and i made her bring the items back and he was being VERY RUDE TO HER MIND YOU SHE IS ONLY 5 SHE DIDNT KNOW AND AFTER THAT I Let her know that wasn’t alright . and she had consequences so i don’t know why her was Being rude.

Doctor requested a refill of blood pressure medication I had switched from Walgreens to CVS a year ago. Decided to go back to Walgreens now. Pharmacist argued saying I got a 90 day supply from them in October. I advised him that was wrong because I was with CVS at that time. I was offered 1 dose. Declined because one dose would be useless. Have speak to manager tomorrow.

Pharmacy is a joke. I had surgery yesterday morning and my surgeon let me know he sent my meds during pre-op and should be filled by the time I’m discharge. I get discharged and go to pick it up to be the girl said she is behind and should have it filled in an hour. I went home slept and went back later to find out the are actually out of stock of it and they won’t transfer to a different pharmacy that has to be my doctor which is now closed. The girl said the pharmacist told her the truck gets in at 9 am and should be filled by 10am and if I don’t hear anything call at 11am. The website said script is being filled so I call to confirm and nope the The medication wasn’t in the shipment and it’ll be another day or so until it comes. I am 25 year that just had tonsillectomy it very painful and I’m disappointed that they would neglect to fill people in that they’re out of certain pain medication. Will be finding new pharmacy.

The last few months every time I come to get my prescription I've had to wait in line for a half hour. The drive thru takes even longer! They really need to up their pharmacy staff! Oh! And, after waiting 20 minutes in line they just informed me that my prescription wasn't even ready! Then why did I receive an email, voicemail and text saying it was! Very irritating! After this I will definitely be switching to another pharmacy!

Dealt with a very impatient cashier, she also lied to me about a coupon, said I could only use it for proctor and gamble products, made me feel very embarrassed. I called the store and asked to speak to a manager, she(the cashier named Terri) told me she would speak to me, I tried to discuss the matter with her, needless to say, should have been able to speak to a manager as requested. Store is great, service not so much.

The cashier up front is not a people person. He threw my drinks in the bag and when I got home I opened them over the sink cause it was shook up. I asked him about a price check and he was irritated. This isn't the first time he's been like this

Randomly closed and incredibly rude and unhelpful staff. I refilled my rx on the app because they were “temporarily closed” when I went to get it, I switched to delivery. Chat agents said it’d be delivered. When I called, the pharmacy tech argued with me and said they needed a piece of paper to mail it. Not helpful and not kind. I just switched pharmacies so I don’t have to deal with them anymore.

Edit: Worst place in the history of pharmacies. Have updated all of my information after being married for a year and they still cannot get any of the information correct. Purposely waited 3 HOURS after having a prescription called in to make sure there was time to get it filled and then they claimed they never got anything. Called the doctor and verified that it had been sent in. No one knows what they are doing and I'm shocked no one has died yet because of the sheer incompetence of the staff.I understand that the pharmacy processes hundreds if not thousands of prescriptions a day and that they have a limited staff. But when I purposely wait an hour and a half after having a prescription sent in to go pick it up only to pull up and be told that it still isn't ready and I need to wait is absolutely ridiculous. There should be no reason to have to wait nearly two hours and still not have meds ready for lick up. One of the worst locations.

I usually shop at other locations, but this one was the only one that had what I needed in stock. Placed an online order for pickup. Received an email that I could pick up inside at the photo department. Minutes later received an email that my order was picked up. I called and they said "oops" they accidentally checked it out...just come in and it will be here. Stopped in and headed to photo counter. Stood and waited while employee ignored me. I saw a sign saying that photo orders could be picked up in the front, but nothing about online orders. I said "Hi! Sorry to bother but I have an online order to pick up". Employee just points at the front. I say, "Oh, I'm sorry, do I pick up my online order in the front as well?". Employee rolls eyes and rudly says "That's what the sign says, doesn't it". I try and explain that the sign only references photo orders but he cuts me off and walks away. Horrible customer service and questionable online order practices. Never again...

Waited 45+ minutes my last 3 trips here just to get to the front of the line. Scripts are never ready despite receiving the automated message saying they were.Pharmacy used to be a quick stop on the way home from work. Now you just pull up and put your car in park.. and wait

Pitiful.... the pharmacy seems to never be open when u need it. The whole department closes for lunch. Closed on saturdays... they have messed up hours. The store itself is always in shambles, its usually dirty too. The cashiers are super slow too... God bless this walgreens... they need... something...I absolutely hate this walgreens!

Absolutely the worst Walgreens! The staff is slowwwwwwwwwwww and they half the time have no idea what is ever going on. They told me 30 mins to come back for my prescription. 1 hour later I show up to get it, still not ready the girl tells me it will take another 5-10 mins and I can pull up behind the other cars and wait for them and it should be ready. So I do that, my turn again, lady asks me my name says hold on and disappears, minuetes go by and then the pharmacist comes to the window who are you waiting for? Tell her my name, just a minuet. More than a few minuetes go by a different girl comes back and says we didn't have enough to fill it so you will have to come back again tomorrow for the rest. The pharmacist didn't even come back to tell me anything about my NEW medication. I was appalled and didn't bother to even ask after I paid and she sent my stuff back through the window she walked away before I could say a word!! This has officially been my LAST straw with Walgreens! This is not the first horrible experience I've had with them. I will be switching to hyvee pharmacy from now on!

I can understand no help. But when customers stand in line for a long period of time people give up on going there. Only two people working and system down to cash out. No amt took out make you wonder if they closing .

Ordered 8 prescriptions on the phone. 1 week later due to cold weather went to pick them up. NONE of them were even showing ordered. Went back to get them a few days later and found out one not ordered again. Checked and found 3 more not ordered. This is all due to automated system. Will go back to Broadlawns they have perfected the automated system. Only changed to Walgreens since they were closer. Need to work on the automated system. Maybe ask Broadlawns for assistance.

Went to pick up from pharmacy. It was busy and I was told to come back in 10-15 minutes to pick up my prescription. I came back in 15 minutes and apparently my medication is out of stock. Was told to call on Monday and it MIGHT be in stock.I really see no reason I had to wait 15 minutes to find out it was out of stock.

Something needs to be done with the pharmacy, management needs to get a grip as we’ve been waiting for a month for a prescription.They tell us they don’t have alcohol compound needed to Complete prescription. Is it really that hard to get? My wife needs this, the doctor didn’t prescribe it to her so she could wait a month.

If you are looking for pokemon do not come here. The manager Wes hides them all behind the counter for his buddies (suspecting a deal). Sad when employees are enabling scalpers to pad their own pockets. Even when called out on it, they will not sell them.

This location pharmacy has no customer service. And had no timely manner. They need a new staff. After this experience, I will never use this location for any of my family needs.

I went to Walgreens on Southeast 14 th and Cummins road Des Moines and I had an appointment at 10:20 to get my shot and I was there at 10:05 because it says be there early they had me waiting an hour when I set the appointment a month ago then they saw me sitting there all that time and they thought I had left all of the workers saw me sitting there waiting, I'm on camera

Need to either hire more people or train employees to be more attentive and call for help when there are 10 people waiting in line. Waited in line for over 10 minutes, still no help. I Dumped everything on counter and left. Wasted my time.... this is the reason why I avoid going there in the first place.
