I dropped of a load of furniture here a week ago. They did a great job of helping to unload. I like to donate items here because they offer both the thrift store or offer the items to people in need at no charge if they are using their services. Keep up the great work.

Very clean. Clothes arranged neatly on racks by size. Handbags alone. Also good Furniture buys. Everything looks new and there are many new things with tags. Prices AR low and reasonable. You will not regret the trip. Also, good buys on jewelry

When I brought my item up to the counter and ask the man if they have checked it out beforehand he said yeah we check out All electronics so in the hopes that he was correct I got home plugged it in and it did not work I understand no refunds and no returns and no credit but why do you have to lie to somebody just to sell something you have a better chance at a garage sale than you do there at St Vincent de Paul thrift store

Merchandise changes daily. This makes shopping here extremely fun. You just never know what treasure lies within. Of all the thrift stores in the Des Moines area this one stocks antiques and furniture to clothing and toys and everything you can think of in-between. In my opinion most merchandise is on the upper end of the scale, quality wise. Plus, you'll find brand new items never been open. Friendly staff, clean, organized and prices to sell fast. Check it out. Youll never know what you've been missing out on until you go and find it!

Prices on home goods and furniture are the best I've seen in Des Moines, and they always have new items. Some things like electronics are a little disorganized or dirty, and the clothing selection is so so, but overall this is one of my favorite thrift stores on the south side.

This place has no sign for a facemask YOU WILL GET YELLED if you go in with out one. 1) I understand that we are in a pandemic 2) If the state lifted the restrictions keep your sign up you want people to wear them. 3) They don't know what COPD IS and don't CARE ABOUT THE VACCINE.
