Customer service sucks!!!!! Will not shop there ever again. Waited over 15 minutes for 2 customers in front of me to be checked out. I made a comment about how the wait to check out is always long at Marshalls no matter how short or long the line is. She went off on me. Just because you say awful things in a sweet tone and a smile doesn’t mean you weren’t abusive. She wouldn’t stop the whole time she was checking me out. Will never go back. I know this won’t change anything but at least .I got it off my chest

Use to go to Kohls, too far to go to. Now it's Marshall's. They have a great selection of goods. Love this place ❤️

I dig this place ! Always have white V-Necks and good prices. Have some of my favorite brands...polo, penguin, lucky, Tommy and more !! Staff is nice, always had a good shopping experience there. Solid sock game too...which is important to me because my sock game is next level yo.

I can always find something I like at Marshalls.Thanks to the minimal clerks working. When I got in line,there were 3 others waiting with one associate clerk. There was another one , "Crystal" but she was "busy" wiping off the back counter. Assuming she was more management, because she clearly saw the line and left to go talk to another associate and pretended to organize a shelf while talking. But yet told another person to go to the registers. Maybe do a better job with customers...Crystal.🤔

I would like to give kudos to the staff and management in regards to how clean and organized the Des Moines Marshalls is during this holiday season. Everything was in its place which is difficult in a store that receives merchandise constantly. Good Job Team!!!!

Great experience. Awesome clearance section as well. I found a damaged childrens book and they were able to give a good discount for it as well. Loved the selection of toddler clothes for my son!

Jennifer at the southside Des Moines store is an absolute sweetheart! She went WAY out of her way to help my elderly mom get the product she was looking for. This is truly service that is UNHEARD of these days! And just being a thoughtful and dear person as well, thank you, you are so very much appreciated.

A great place to go when looking for name brand items on a budget. They have a large selection of almost every piece of clothing or accessory you'd ever need. One downfall of shopping here is poor organization in certain departments and quality control. When you pay bargain bin prices you can just go ahead and expect that quality of product. Employees are always quick and ready to help out when needed which is always a good sign.

Nice, helpful clerks.I arrived at closing time and had just one item that I wanted to check for. A clerk took me to the "storage box" area and I was able to find what I needed. Check out was fast and we were all happy!

I would of never thought id would be promoting 🚫 marshalls especially the history i hold, veing aloyal cutomer as well as a dedecated and loyal employees, never have i ever been treated so poorly the first experience was the bigest disappointment the south ridge mall is already barley making it and i thought i help out,the outside is a joke and the inside is the pathetic so much so they let it be known they dont want ppl of color there they are rude, obnoxious,snooty and the merchandise is low quality even for marshalls thats bad its lower then a marshalls outlet store, and then its merchandise is over priced for low product, if you have to shop there i advisepeople go to ROSS they have better selection at resonable cost and they are a friendly bunch of people even rul21, its so bad at marshalls that the security gaurd walks and drives around taking the plates of black people, its comedy so if any one ever needs a wittness for a case call me this is worst then the kkk, seriously if you want marshalls here in des moines go to west dsm much better there too way different then south side check it out and see.

I'll start this by saying even though my rating is a little low, I still enjoy this store. My issue as of late is a revolving one where the men's athletic apparel has not been receiving much attention, from what I can tell. I shop here once every weekend, and lately I've walked out in 10min or less each visit due to not really finding anything new in the men's athletic section, at least not in my size (medium shirt). I'll continue to shop here, despite being on a current hiatus. We'll see what there will be available in the near-future.

I compare this marshalls to Ross which is what I like to call the DAV/unwanted things of tj maxx. Stick to the west Des Moines location because this location never has anything and the things they do have aren’t that great..

This store is huge. Some shelves were bare, apparently Saturday EVERYONE was there. But they still had so much to choose from! Great pwople work here too!

I normally love going to Marshals in the Southridge mall I’ve found half of my wardrobe here and can always find things for my daughter as well. Today I had a bad experience my daughter and little sister were looking at sunglasses with me when I felt someone hovering over us and it was the lady who was taking care of dressing rooms. She walked out of her work space to watch us uncomfortable close. My sister dropped a pair of sunglasses and went to pick them up but was stopped by this woman’s foot dragging them across the ground to her space so she could pick them up. This was very rude and probably damaged the glasses. I asked her to please give us some space and she just put her nose in the air and didn’t say a word! I spend at least $100 at this store every time and expect to be able to shop with my family without rude employees taking their job too seriously. Not to mention as I continued shopping she would glare at these children every time we passed by! I wanted to make a complaint while I was still in store but I felt so uncomfortable I just left. Very disappointed that an employee ruined our Saturday fun.

Not many places to shop on the southside and Marshalls has a variety of merchandise. The shoes and handbags are reasonably priced and I also buy baby gifts there. The items on clearance are at great prices as well.

Great curtain and apron collection!! The curtains I found actually had 4 panels in the package. The aisles were big to accommodate the shopping carts

Cant go wrong shopping here! The amount of things you can find is outstanding. You can find cute baby clothes, home goods, clothes for women and men. It’s so great!

Overall mall looks scary but this Marshall's is great - well kept and stocked. Employees are noticeably nicer than WDM location.

Compared to most of the other Marshall's...... This one lacks in selection, and was a bust this time around for me. Went to get a Michael Kors watch, and this store didn't even carry watches at all.
