Love all of the options! I was feeling dipped soft-serve after the dog park. Quality stuff here! There are a few tables off to the side where you can sit and enjoy your ice cream. Kind of a weird area for an ice cream shop but don't let that deter you. We left super happy!!!

We have been going here for years, and have had different experiences. Tonight's unexpected surprise was broken pieces of Styrofoam in the bottom of my husband's cup that they placed a broken cup inside another. My "chocolate" shake was like vanilla ice cream, in which I loved Grannies for the dark rich flavor of chocolate, it was horrible, like Dairy Queen. It was like they took a short cut with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. Do better Grannies!

One of the best ice cream joints in Iowa. They give you plenty of toppings and the menu is huge. Absolutely worth the visit every time.

Oh what a place. This is a soft serve secret. You’ll have to wait in line for these fine treats, but well worth it. Granny’s has all the modern flavors you like and that old fashion hint of excellence in their recipe. You have to stop by soon and try some.

This place is awesome. The ice cream is wonderful, and the huge menu of flavors and options keeps us coming back to try more.It's like the small neighborhood ice cream stores from when I was a kid.My personal favorite the Dream Twist. It's great in both cones and shakes.

My family loves Granny's. The ice cream is good. They offer a variety of ice cream treats. The prices are reasonable. The service is outstanding. It is not a very big place but it is mighty good!

A special treat that turned into sadness because this is what you get after spending $23.00 on ice cream. I could have saved myself time, money and effort by going to the store for a turtle and smore mix. Glad the other 2 were happy but this fat girl mom sure isn't.Why make the trip is this is the quality you get?****update 6\15 the owner is on it and making sure it won't happen again. Changes my review from a 2 star to a 5 star. Just reaching out like that is wonderful

How sad and embarrassing. This place has been a part of our community for literally years have been coming here since I was a little kid, stopped by and got my little five-year-old some ice cream and asked if they could put Oreo cookie ice cream in a waffle cone, he said no, but they could put Oreos in a waffle bowl. I said no will just take the waffle cone with twist ice cream they go to making a waffle bowl and I politely said hey, that’s not for us is it because we wanted the con and it was literally such a big deal to where it got to the point to where I’m being asked to leave because I stated she wanted a waffle cone. The whole discussion was over waffle cones, not regular cones for how long this place has been around and family owned. That was some junk low-grade, no no integrity at all that small business will never get a good rap, or any more of my business absolutely disgraceful 👎👎 how could you literally make a big deal about a waffle cone to such a nice sweet little girl horrible people look at that smile. All she wanted was some ice cream and you couldn’t just deal with your mistake and give her a waffle cone shows the caliber of people you guys are. The experience you just created for a five-year-old 👏👏

Love this place has really good ice cream shakes malts blizzards and hotdogs things like that way worth the money service is also good they get things out fast even though most days they seem busy at all hours if you have not tried granny's you won't be disappointed

Delicious ice cream---dozens of flavors and combinations of flavors. Open ONLY in late spring through summer/fall warm weather. Prices are higher than DQ, but I think much of ice cream may be handmade. Quick service usually except when there's a line. It's strictly a ice cream stand, but there are places to sit outside in nice weather or in one's car. Highly recommended!
