I enjoy going to Dollar tree cuz I'm doing crafting right now and they have a lot of interesting things. My one Downfall with them and I have contacted the company and spoke to the several square managers they sell bottled products and charge you the money for the deposit and get their not accepting of the cans back in their stories that I don't think is right. No one has replied as of yet

Very rude staff. The store is a mess and when you try to look at anything past their mess. Staff stops, gives you a dirty look, and asks what you’re doing. Then they refuse to let you take the cart out when this location has a cart return. I will not be coming back

I don't know if the cashier was in training or just not that bright. I asked him several times to separate the food products from the cleaning supplies I was purchasing and he never did it, which made the total more than what I had which is important if your on a fixed income. When he called the manager over she was very rude and condescending and kept telling me "everything here is 1.25". She also never separated my items, i just put some items back because I just wanted to get out of there will never go back to that location ever

I am an evening assistant manager at this location. I started employment in October 2022. I absolutely love my job here. My Store Manager Ms Melody & Merchandise Manager Ms Dara are absolutely amazing to work for supporting me in all ways possible for my job. Ms Melody & Ms Dara always compliment me on what a great job I am doing which makes it all worthwhile to come to work. They are an amazing support system for me each & everyday that I work. I could not ask for any better managers to work for. Our store has come such a long way since I started working thanks to all the dedication & extremely hard work of Ms Melody & Ms Dara.

Everything was A OK at the Dollar Tree this morning. It must have been restocking day, lots of stuff waiting to be put on the shelves, but it did seem that they were all trying there best to get it done and out of the way. Everyone was friendly and pleasant. As usual I went in for a Loaf of Bread and came out $28 dollars lighter, LOL Somehow it just doesn't seem to bother me as much to spend at the Dollar Store, I almost always feel like I got a Bargain. Enjoy your Dollar Tree Store, I do !!!

Bought a loaf of bread and the checker noticed a tear in the bag and asked if I wanted her to go get another one. I replied, "either you can or I will." I unloaded what was left in my cart and stated I would go grab another one quick. She conveniently forgot to refund the open one and charged me again! Seriously, I've spoken with this lady several times at this store,, thinking truely she was a nice, honest person. Ha! Just goes to show that ya can't take anybody at face value and trusting is a thing of the past! BTW I didn't get the bread either, she probably needed a loaf at home too! NICE!!! I'd like to think that I'd give anyone the benefit of the doubt and figure she forgot but.... this all took place within one minute. She didn't forget! "0" Rating

Cash it was awesome very pleasant very helpful was quick. However I had a hard time finding the things that I was needing everything was empty or in different spots. I've been to other Dollar Trees and had a better experience. Their shells were stocked things look really nice it was inviting. I wish I could say the same for this store

Dollar tree is now $1.25 for most items. Still less than most places. There are good deals & some are sketchy due to smaller sizes etc. Store shelves have lots of bare spots empty departments. You do have to look out for items that are over the $1.25 I've noticed a few items upto $5. 👍🚴🏼‍♂️✌😷

It's a good store. Lots of things you're looking for. The only thing I would say is that the stocking doesn't happen very fast. They have empty spaces on shelves and walls where there are carts full of the things that go in there sitting right in front.

I really like the store but I don't care for the work environment and some coworkers. They only pay 7.35 an hour, inconsiderate when come to asking for time off (meaning the schedule is made up 4 weeks in advance) the manager is only fair and impartial to those they like.(guess if u got plans better pucker up) and basically overall their tactics make no sense. It could be again a great store but they need to hire managers who realize they can't change the world and give employees more respect. We have all seen this store at it's best and seen it at it's worse and it's always one extreme to the other. Managers need to extend gratitude to all employees as I'm sure they want it back. Oh, give them a raise--Mc Donald's starts their people out at higher rate!

Is there only one person running the store? Everytime seems like there is and the line is backed up to the middle of the isle. I stopped comming to this store for quite awhile and had to grab something quick, but quickly reminded why I stopped going to this store. There was already a line through the isles when I walked in then spent 15 minutes in line as well. There were 5 people ahead of me and like another 4-5 behind when she called for another cashier which didn't show up still by the time I got to checkout. I used to like this dollartree as they usually have more selection. But I think the main problem is the lack of staff available.

I don't get to dollar tree very often but I made it a point to stop today and spend sometime checking it out. I found a few favorites, and I'm always on the lookout for a new to go coffee cup, this time there's a new crop of them... so I found a new favorite

I love the Dollar Tree store's, I could spend hours at a time looking at all the many items they have for only $1. My last visit was no exception, I spent about an hour roaming around the store. Even though the store was a little disarrayed, the sales associate were helpful and polite.

Nice big store with a wide variety of products. Most areas were well kept and organized.. merchandise was well displayed overall! Employees were friendly and helpful! Would have given 5 stars if the outside of store was not a complete PIG STYE! Garbage was all over the front walk way of store. It looked as if the trash had not been emptied in days.Not a good first impression.😕

Dollar Tree is great as far as price, but unfortunately, they were out of shower curtain liners. However, we were able to go to another Dollar Tree, across town, and get said shower curtain liner. (A nice perk to living in the city.)

Yeah, it's run down, it's clientele is a little rough around the edges, the parking lot is a mess, the R in Tree doesn't light up. But if you need something small for the kitchen, head to the north wall, great selection.If you need a cheap toy for your kids because they've been good, head to the aisles on the south. 20oz sodas are like $1.75 everywhere else, still $1.00 at the Dollar Tree.Christmas time, it's my go to place for stocking stuffers.

I have been here 3 times in 2 weeks. I had to ask " are you going out of business?" Because all the shelves are empty. I buy my supplies for my Cleaning business here and could not purchase one thing I usually get here. 😥 Sad thing. Better to go to West Des Moines guys.

Maybe change your store hours online. I came in thinking you were open an have a time frame specially with the way gas is today it was a wasted trip and very annoying to experience in the morning.

Usually pretty busy. They do usually have enough staff to keep things going smoothly. Parking space always available but not always clise to the entrance. The store is kept clean and usualy stocked on shelfs with merchandise. Bathroomms availabe if needed- not always clean.

I believe they may be temporarily or most likely permanently closed. Have tried multiple times this weekend, even BEFORE 4 PM and theyve always been closed. Appears they are tearing the building down.Closing at 4 PM now. Hours posted on the web site say updated 5 days ago stating open until 10 PM. But you get there and sign on the door says closes at 4. How are people who WORK suppose to shop there???

3 stars, ? The Entrance is Scarey, the glass to entry doors were just filthy, handles too. I did not see ANY wiping of any kind, I was there for a good hour. The store is VERY DIRTY.!!!

One cashier with 3 other people working and a line going all the way to Timbuktu. The cashier that helped me was doing great especially since it was only her 2nd day. If not for her I would be going to Dollar General from here in out.

The store is a disaster. Misplaced, displaced, and on the floor.. dollar merchandise is getting smaller. Less value. And when you have to sort thru the mess .. it becomes not worth dealing with . I could hire 10 year old kids to merchandise more efficiently..

Back to Back times the employees well one specific younger lady who is Very unprofessional. Whines alot about breaks and bathroom very annoying. If she focused more on her job things would go way smoother. Makes the experience hard to tolerate.

The old guy that is at the cashier register is really rude,He said there is a polecy of 1 newspaper per customer so I only bought 1.I went to another dollar general (west des moines) the lady at the cashier register was so nice and told me there is not such policy.. He just didnt want to sell me more then 1 newspaper.I was going to pay for my 2 newspapers so i dont see why he refused to sell them . but i know for sure i will never go back to this store... And i will tell all my family and friends not to go there either. Rude Old Employee...

Its a fairly well organized DT with helpful staff. Great place to find some brand name foods for a dollar. I go here for cereal all the time. $4 organic healthy pricey cereal for a buck is a great deal. And their generic oxy clean is great too. They also have Vigo Yellow Rice .40 cents cheaper than Walmart.

I like dollar tree you can get the same stuff at other stores for a lot cheaper here. Definitely check them out if your on a thrifty budget. Most of the stuff is of the same quality as the stuff at Walmart.
