Today was my first time shopping at this particular location. I have lived in Des Moines for less than a year. Today my regular grocery failed me and I ended up finally trying Aldi. The other place had more things in one location for me which made it easier. Half of my groceries are produce. I was happily surprised at the quality of the vegetables that I purchased today. I got exactly what I needed. It was really good that this store was not oversized because sometimes walking can be a challenge for me.With that being said you know I will return. This location was one of the cleanest, organized all Aldi that I have seen in my travels.

Other than the quarter deposit on the cart , ( yeah- that doesn't break you) I enjoy shopping there. Very seldom have had KETO stuff in stock when I visit but the veggies are fresh, the milk is relatively inexpensive and over all prices are very reasonable. They don't have a huge variety but for what they have I like them

There were 11 people in line and I told an employee in the aisle, she responded she's not backup and it wasn't her job to call for it.I used to work at Aldi and know the rule is 3 people, then you call. The last few times I've been here the lines have been like this. The employee interaction is the only reason I left the poor review through.

We placed an aldi order for pick up today on february 4, 2024 for 1700-1800 CST . We got a text at 1428 saying no one was available to shop and they'd text us. We received a text at 1758 stating it was being shopped for. I had been communicating the whole time with the shopper. Order was complete at 1853. My husband went to pickup the groceries and the app told us to go inside. So he did, and an associate told him we'd be refunded because it was past the pickup time. We are upset that we waited all day and pickup was late on their end and we didn't even end up receiving our groceries. Customer service has been notified. We normally don't have issues here.

This is the most ridiculous Aldis I've ever been too. The prices are nearly triple any other. I'd pick the ottumwa Aldis anyway. More variety selections and much better prices.

This is my favorite Aldi's to go to! It's always clean and organized and very friendly employees! Shireena always greets me with a smile and is very helpful! They have the freshest produce and great prices!

New store in Windsor Heights, Iowa. It is located across the street from Hy-vee on University Ave.This is a very big store and has more celections than other locations.

The selection of can veggies seems a little sort now days. Not being able to get a single sweet onion, or bell pepper sucks too. Still the better prices on milk, eggs. bread and butter.

This is a good store. Very very clean the day I was there. The shelves were organized until you got to the houseware nob good items. Then it looked like a tornado went thru there. But none the less I enjoyed shopping here.

You can't beat Aldis prices especially if your on a budget. Produce is quality, they have an Italian assortment of foods also excellent, cheeses, meats, seafood, etc. All very good.

I had not been here in awhile. The produce looked really good and there priceswere reasonable. Some things were high, like eggs, but that is everywhere. We will be shopping here and seeing if we save money. I will do and update after shopping.

I have shopped Aldi's for 30+ years and have NEVER been treated so rudely by an employee ... until today. Very unprofessional and truly needs some training on how to do her job and customer service.

The store is very clean. And you will love the prices. Now the have name brand things. It is not the store that got a bad reputation. Even their meat is good quality. So if you havent been to Aldis in awhile give it another try, you might just be surprised.

Aldi is one of THE BEST stores for great quality, affordable food and other goods. I have never once felt cheated when checking out. The one time we had food spoil BEFORE its expiration date, Aldi stood by its twice as nice guarantee, no questions asked! The southside Des Moines location is my favorite!

I wished I would have shopped here much earlier in life because their simplicity is how I buy food. Can’t beat their meat pricing for every day prices. The only down side is that if you get there late on a day they could be wiped out completely.
