This was the last stop on a list of Iowa's Best Donuts I'd found a while ago and it did not disappoint! Fresh, delicious donuts in a variety of classic styles. Nothing fancy or weird, just great, simple donuts. Friendly staff as well that pointed me to the nearest ATM a half block away because they are CASH OR CHECK ONLY. Not a big deal, as I should have expected that.

I love, love, love the bakery goods! Maybe a little too much... But I did limit myself to one items which is so hard to do. Glad that it took a little while to make my daughters and my drink so I could take my time deciding. With this covid thing you feel like you you need to rushso others cancome into the store too. This is a small place so not much room for many people. The latte I had was good also.

They have the absolute best donuts and sweets! I try to go there every couple of weeks so I can deliver donuts to my mom and brother and sister. Very friendly people and great customer service! I tell people all the time how yummy Dough and Joe's is!

Cutest bakery with the BEST coffee! The donuts and cookies are freshly baked and delicious! The staff was incredibly friendly and very hospitable. If you are visiting, definitely stop by and grab a quick breakfast! No credit cards accepted!

Fantastic baked goods and great coffee. I try not to get sweet treats too often, but I was glad when I splurged because everything was as perfect as I imagined. The cream filled caramel long johns are my favorite, and it was flawless.

Absolutely the best bakery in Northeast Iowa! Bagels, donuts, cakes, bread, and any baked good you can imagine! They only take cash, but there’s an ATM just around the corner. Friendly and small town charm make this a must see in the Cresco area.

Nothing compares to Doug & Joe. The treats are delicious and made from scratch! Their buttercream icing is out of this world tasty! The owners do a great job serving customers and creating incredible sweet treats and coffees.

I used to think that the only long johns I needed were the ones I wear during the crispy Cresco winters. Boy was I wrong! Dough & Joe presented me with the key that opened pandora’s box of deliciousness with their cream filled long johns. It’s been said that the Greek god Zeus himself came down from Mt. Olympus and presented the Pedretti’s with the recipe for the perfect donut. There is no other explanation for this creation because these long johns are a true slice of heaven in your mouth. Enjoy!
