The staff were great...seemed to care about the animals and Kelsie was kind and personable. She commented that my dog is a cooperative and not difficult to groom. So, all in all...the people and the service offered was good. A good experience.My problem is the deceptive pricing on the web site, which said that a "bath only" for a large dog "starts at $34." Since my 60-lb labrador was in the middle of the large breed weight range and is a short haired dog that doesn't require any special attention, my husband and I decided to go ahead and spend the $40...$34 for the bath, plus a $6 tip. But when I booked the bath online, the web site now said it would cost $42. No explanation why. I felt a little disgruntled about this, but decided to proceed. I was pleased with the "check in" and chatted briefly with the grooming staff and appreciated how kindly they were treating the dogs. So far, so good. Expensive, but nice. BUT THEN...when I picked up my dog, I was given a bill for $48! A "Materials Fee" of $6.00 had been added, without ever being mentioned. With tax and $6.00 tip, my bill was $57.35. I will never do this again...not because the staff and service weren't high quality, but because I feel foolish for being duped into spending nearly 50% more than I originally expected. Before other potential clients have the same experience, I recommended updating the website to accurately reflect the true charges one should expect.

There was no wait and the job was quick and efficient. Very happy! I tipped $5 using cash and paid the technician directly because I read somewhere online that Petco managers would keep 30% of the tips for themselves. Unconscionable!

My dogs have been coming here for years and always look amazing! Heather is great with my pups and my neighbor’s too! Overall, staff at this store are friendly and helpful. Before, I had initially tried a few other grooming salons in the area and never had such good service and haircuts like I do here. My pups love coming in! Definitely recommend the Clive Petco.

Jordan has been grooming our two small dogs for years and he does a great job. One of our dogs has anxiety issues and she knows Jordan now and seems to be very comfortable with him which, of course, matters a great deal to us. We will continue to have Jordan groom our dogs forever! He is the best!

HEATHER did an excellent job grooming my dog!! However, I was pretty shocked when I saw the amount of the bill. According to the prices listed on your website, the cost was about 50% more than what I was expecting. Especially for first-time customers, I think prices should be explained ahead of time.

The groomer was professional and personable. Treated our Oliver with care. And when making the appointment this location was very understanding about our need for getting his very long nails taken care of at the time we requested. As we were traveling between 2 locations and the Petco in Davenport was all booked up until Saturday.And there is no Petco location in Norfolk, Nebraska our current jobsite.

The Petco groomers were great with my young pup! They even gave him an extra bath when he got diarrhea everywhere. They weren’t able to actually trim him though, which I understand he was a rowdy puppy, I was just really looking forward to haircut.

Quigley was well groomed. His feet were nicely trimmed and the rest of his feathered were well trimmed and but was trimmed as requested and he was clean, smelled good, well brushed and e inner ears were well trimmed. He looked show quality when I picked him up.

During areally rough time for us all the groomers were very friendly and helpful. This was a new puppy for us and she was scared but they made it seem effortless and they are definitely the pros.

I dropped off my dog at 9:30 they told me to pick him up in four hours which is normal just like every time but this time it went passed 4 hours and I still haven’t gotten any calls or messages to pick up my dog so I decided to go pick him up when I walked in and asked where my dog chase is none of the groomers knew they had to CALL!! To find out where they took him still not telling me they have cut his tongue open and when I found out the manger just walked in carrying him and her excuse to all of this is it was a accident I am very disappointed to not even get a call saying they have hurt my dog and he is bleeding of course no matter what any of the customers do there only thing to say is it’s a accident but didn’t care to ask after 5+ hours of us waiting really unprofessional and disrespectful now my dog can’t eat or drink after not doing that for his haircut that they couldn’t even do without cutting a dogs tongue open and this isn’t a dogs fault this is a heads up to any owner out there .
