I shop here often and was surprised when they announced over the intercom they were closing. Website says 10 and it was 9. Also when I checked out noticed sale items were not scanning the sale price. Watch the prices and pay attention to the receipts.It would also help if employees would say thank you and smile once in a while.Kudos to Jeff and Brandon in the meat department! They are the best and always friendly!

Called to see if they had Crown Royal Blackberry. They said it was there and would be getting stocked in 15 minutes. Showed up in 10 and they said it was sold out. They let employees take it and pay for it later. They called them and they said they would pay for it later, they really wanted it. I was told I couldn't reserve a bottle on the phoen.

It's a clean hospitable place where the workers are quick to assist you if you need help prices are fair the deli the food is always fresh and it's got a great selection parking is neat clean and not to crammed the gas station and Mall adjacent

It is an okay store, their HyVee brand chicken tenders are quite good, the hot food grill section is price well but they're barely open closing early at 2. When I went there the food tasted like the oil hadn't changed in a month.I'm willing to give it another try and if the hot food oil isn't older than me perhaps the food will come out good. Other than that it's pretty easy to find whatever you are looking for.The chocolate milk is very overpriced as are a few random items.

Placed an order for 100 pieces of fried chicken two days prior to needing the order for a family dinner following a funeral. Received a call confirming the desired pickup time, which was requested for noon. Went to pick up the order for the scheduled pickup time (at actually closer to 12:30) and was told it would not be ready for another half an hour. While the order was delivered for us to the location in town (at our request) it did not arrive until 1:30pm. Please do not accept online orders if you are not able to complete the time commitment. Expecting customers to wait a hour and a half past the confirmed time is unacceptable customer service, especially considering the advance notice you had for the order.

Friendly and professional.Great atmosphere and all people that work here, seem to enjoy their jobs, also we were pleased to find a Starbucks inside the store and the staff were very sweet and helpful.

Bought hamburger only to find out later that it is loaded with bits of Bone Ground up in it. I was not at all happy chipping my $3000 plus Dentures.Wife separated in approx 1pnd wrappings sadly at $3.99 a pound we have thrown out over 9 pounds of the "BONE-IN-HAMBURGER". we will not be buying anymore from Centerville Hyvee!(Thank goodness for Fareway!)Then if you look on Facebook at some of the so called deals on meat items they are Very close to expiration, so not really a good deal unless your cooking it all that day or so. We have thrown out chicken that was no good, but$40 plus.PLEASE BEAWARE...THEY REPLIED WANTED ME TO CONTACT THEM TO WHICH I DID TRY AND HEARD NOTHING BACK! They add that canned reply to every review if you look through you get the gist. But they do not bother to get back to you once you reply! Thanks Hy-Vee Not!

The cabins are nice and very clean. Everything is close by as far as shopping or dining. The kitchen is well stocked with needed items. Plenty of room for our family of ten. The views are beautiful and we were visited by a deer. Wish there was a swim area but we had a good time fishing and kayaking. Went to Rathbun lake to swim.

I was impressed with Starbucks! My coffee in the past was either to strong or not perfect. But today it was better then the other Starbucks I've gone too. The store was clean and every department was helpful and polite. Ty

Very helpful and clean store anf environment. They always have their shelves stocked unlike the walmarts in Cville which is so much less stressful! Thank you Hyvee for that. Other than the extremely high prices its a 5 star buisness in my opinion

The lady in the kitchen named Cheryl was very friendly and helpful. Cooked for about 10 of us in a timely manner and it was good food. The grocery store itself i haven't really explored since their remodel

This store is located close to Lake Thunderhead where my father lives. We have frequented this store on several occasions while visiting.The layout is confusing but once you learn where everything is you are fine. They offer a fair selection and prices are comparable.

First time in Centerville Hyvee. First impressions are no wipes for wiping down cart handles and used coffee grounds. The entire store is like that just not what I expect from a hyvee. I just dont feel that cleanliness is a priority.

STILL WON'T EXCEPT MY UNITED HEALTHCARE OTC HEALTHY FOOD CARD, THEREFORE I HAVE TO PAY FOR MY FOOD ITEMS OUT OF POCKET, SO I HAVE BEEN SHOPPING AT WALMART, AND THEY ALWAYS EXCEPT MY OTC CARD!!!!! ALSO, IF YOU BUY SEVERAL ITEMS, YOU CAN ALMOST SAVE ENOUGH TO BUY YOUR GAS, BUT NORMALLY I BUY FOR OTHER PEOPLE WHO GIVE ME GAS MONEY. SO REALLY IT IS A NO BRAINER!!!

I don't like the change. Centerville is a small town and we didn't need the upgrade. I'm shopping somewhere else now.*UPDATE*I still don't know where certain things are located and they're short help alot. It's a handy place to get to. Their prices are higher than other grocery shops in centerville.It would be worth the extra $$ not to have to walk a mile in then another mile to products. Much friendlier staff.HOWEVER, This is the last place I thought I'd ever be bagging my own groceries! NEXT!

Haven't shopped at Hy-Vee in several years, but something's never change as Hy-Vee food stores. Great meat counter, fresh produce and plenty of awesome deals on about anything food you can imagine!

Things arnt the same since they remodeled. I think it's harder to find stuff and it seems more crowded with the Starbucks and the new deli. However the gas station is pretty nice I enjoy going in there.

I really enjoy going to the Hy-vee in Centerville. The selection is so much better than the Hy-vee where I live. Hyvee always has the absolute best produce putting Walmart produce to shame as well as being a notch above all other stores i shop at within at least 40 miles from me. I generally don't go grocery shopping any farther unless I find somewhere really worth going. Walmart has the best prices most of the time but somethings I just require quality such as produce. I always shop around balancing quality and price for what I buy.

Much better variety than other surrounding HyVees and they actually have the sale items in stock. Good customer service.
