Was a unique experience, lost of options for flavors. They soft round sno balls they have alot of options and even have a stuffed option which adds ice cream inside the sno ball. They have some unique flavors, and some have gummy worms or other gummy stuff. There is an option to add whipped cream. I git the dreamicke which was like orange cremicle ice cream. It was good I look forward to trying their other flavors

There were a ton of flavors to choose from, even weird ones like toothpaste and dull pickle. It was fast and tasted great. Definitely smoother shaved ice than other places I've had in Cedar Rapids

Pelican's snoballs are the PERFECT summer treat! With so many flavors to choose from I had a hard time trying to decide, but that's not a bad problem at all! Portions are huge! I feel like the prices are fair for what you're getting. Service was friendly and speedy and they have tables and games available out front. They also have snoballs for dogs so your pup can have a cool treat too!

Sooo many flavor options and the shaved ice is actually really soft, more like the texture of snow than most snowcones usually are! I also love that they have dye free and sugar free options as well.

This place is AMAZING, whatever you get actually tastes like what's described and whatever you get you need to get it with "CREAM"! The cream is a game changer and what will knock everyone else out of business. My husband and I came opening day and have gone back 4 times since and have brought members of my church family and my mother-in-law all the way from Sioux City! #JustCantGetEnough

Was only person there, it was like 4PM . First time so it took a minute to check out the giant menu they had. Ordered at one window pick up at another. Staff seemed exhausted as no greeting just blank stare. couldn't understand him too well as After I ordered he just kinda walked away do I paid using card reader and just waited at pick up window. Seemed to take a lil while for 2med sno balls. And it was really hot out there on the blacktop they have roped off. Maybe a few umbrellas or canopy for some shade. As for the sno ball itself ..well flavor was good I'm really not sure if Louisiana has a style of sno Cone, sno ball or shaved ice but it seems like the ice could have been shaved or chipped up more as there were some larger chunks throughout the mix. So overall I think the staff just needs to communicate a lil better. And here's the menu so maybe you will know before you get there as they have so many choices.

Flavors and quality are decent, but its a shame that it took 30+ minutes to get through the relatively short line. Poorly run store, employees didn't seem to be very familiar with the cash register. Owners arrived near the end, but seemed uninterested in helping the employees run the store, choosing to talk in the parking lot before going inside and ignoring the employees who were clearly struggling with serving customers.

Our first time here and I got the strawberry shortcake and cream and my wife got strawberry. Both were delicious and sweet. Pelican's is now in our rotation.

The only place out here I've seen with Skylite! My Maryland native heart is so happy 💙 We've been several times this summer and they're always quick, delicious, and refreshing.
