I was here for a two-day conference and it was an amazing experience! The hotel was easy to find, right off the 100 extension, and the conference room was large and the technology worked flawlessly. I enjoyed the catered experience, especially Cameron, who was on top of everything including refills, plate removal, and ensuring dietary restrictions were accommodated. Our social hour had a cash bar, and everything transitioned smoothly.

Location is perfect. Right off the free way in what seems to be a very safe area! We’re moving back to our hometown and this is our last night in a hotel. The rooms are extremely nice the staff is extremely informative and friendly. This was by far the best hotel we stayed at on our journey back home and the perfect way to wrap it up. Couldn’t be happier with our stay!

The room is clean, and the bed is as comfortable as you would expect from the Hilton brand. I am a Diamond member, and I find it strange that upon checking in, the front desk clerk did not provide the customary "thank you for being a Diamond member." As I was about to walk away from the front desk, I asked if they offered any Diamond amenities; the clerk off-handedly shook their head and responded, "I can give you water if you want it." I declined the water. I am a well-traveled Diamond Hilton Member and Platinum Elite Marriott Member; I am familiar with the amenities of both brands. The clerk did not mention Diamond Parking; she only offered the complimentary water once I asked about amenities, and I felt it was offered grudgingly, so I declined it. She failed to mention the $10 daily food & beverage credit or 750 bonus points (one or the other, depending on the member's choice).I did not remember to look at her name tag when I checked in, but when I went down later after we put our things down in the room to buy a Fresca, Cheez-its, and a Dasani water, I noticed that her name was Wendy. A smile and good customer service are what take a stay from good to great. The hotel is in a good location, the room is spacious, clean, and smells nice. It has good amenities (microwave, refrigerator, TV, a desk and chair, and toiletries). We are here for my godson's graduation from COE, and I am sure we will have a great stay outside of a less-than-stellar check-in. I am not a hard-to-please traveler, but I expect the basic pleasantries and almost always receive them with Hilton, so I choose the brand whether staying in Cedar Rapids, Rose Hall, Lagos, Atlanta, or Paris.

Horrible hotel, called at the beginning of the week to see if we could have a ‘pool party’ there for our 5 year old, also knowing multiple other people who have had one there. The lady told us that it was fine, as long as it wasn’t interfering other people in the pool. Coming the day of the party the man at the front wants to tell us that ‘no outside guest can swim’ even had a room booked until the following day. Not every one that showed up for her party was swimming, only 4 toddlers and 3 adults. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone, they obviously don’t know how to communicate, or know anything. i truthfully hope the receptionist feels good for ruining my daughter’s birthday.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at Garden Inn. The hotel is really lovely, modern facility with really easy parking and super clean. But it was the staff going the extra mile that made this so exceptional. It was so nice having the bar and restaurant on site. Chef Dennis made beautiful meals and was so friendly coming out and checking on us.

Wonderful stay 11/12 to 11/13/23. Friday dinner of Pasta Primavera and burger for me and my partner. Delicious! Bartender, Pehton, was very professional and helpful in recommending downtown CR venues. We were in town for show at Paramount Theatre on Sunday. Housekeeping, Desk staff, everyone very friendly and helpful. Two suggestions: 1) sliding bathroom door is excessively heavy! Why?? 2) Replace the too-cold, too small-to-be-a-useful-swimming pool with an adults only Hot Tub.Food & drinks: Nice Happy Hour.

Nice hotel, great view. Gave it a 4 stars instead of 5 stars because breakfast is not included in the rate, it's an extra $14 per guest for their breakfast "buffet," and it is not posted anywhere on their website. Aside from that, the staff were pleasant and attentive. I also highly recommend the Hilton app for awesome features - check in/out, pick your room, and access your digital keycard all on one app. Great for introverts haha!

Very clean , new Hilton Garden Inn. We had a comfortable nights stay in this hotel. The staff seemed to be college students, friendly and eager to please. The room was spacious with lots of plugs and good lighting. We were disappointed there were no tubs, but the shower was fine. The bed was comfy.They have a nice bar with buy one get one half price cocktails. We had dinner at the restaurant and were underwhelmed with the quality and taste of the dinner offerings. I would choose to eat elsewhere next time.A very good stay!

My husband and I had our wedding here, it was amazing, and so easy to have our rehearsal, wedding, dinner, and guests stay in one place. The staff was amazing, the food and drinks were also great, and they did an amazing job with helping us with whatever we needed. I only went into our hotel room but it was great! The room was clean, and I loved that the tv had our name on it, and that because it was our wedding they gave us a little gift. I would recommend the hotel to anyone just for the hotel experience and for an event. Everything about this hotel is amazing.

Visiting for work, trying to grab something to eat quickly. Ignored by Peyton for 5-6 mins. She made eye contact with me a few times and ignored me. I even walked to the other end of the bar to get someone's attention. Someone from the kitchen comes over to her so I asked for a menu, this young lady was in no rush to give me the menu. After 2-3mins, she say "can you tell me your order because I want to shutdown the kitchen" Just rudely, I told her to forget it. This is not what I expected at a Hilton Garden Inn. If any of the two female bartenders had acknowledged me when I first came up the bar, I could have made an order or had my questions asked. I am visiting the area, and not aware nor informed of the kitchen hours. I asked the guests that was being served, but they were not sure. As a Hilton Honors member, I am not accustomed to that type of service. Will not be staying here again. Check in was fine ans very normal. This interaction was not.

Fantastic venue for a wedding reception!! My wife and I got married in November 2022 and used the Hilton for our reception of ~100 people. Everything turned out wonderfully!! The venue room was large, beautiful, and had the perfect ambiance and lighting. I can't even begin to count the number of compliments we received about how gorgeous our wedding was, and still hear comments about this now, a year later, when we see people! The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and did everything they could do ensure that our day was perfect! The food was also quite tasty--and an added bonus, the hotel agreed to our request to provide Martinelli's Sparkling Apple Cider in lieu of the palate-cleansing sherbet that is normally offered (since we had a dry wedding, the apple cider was our drink of choice!) Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better venue (or hospitality) for our wedding reception, and would highly recommend the Hilton for any wedding event!!*The only thing that wasn't what we expected was the "free night stay on your one year anniversary". Unclear communication about this perk led us to believe that this night could be spent at any Hilton location in the U.S. Unfortunately, this was not the case, as the free night applies only to the Hilton location where the wedding was hosted. This is definitely not a deal-breaker, but is helpful to know :)

Great looking property. Well-kept, clean rooms. Bar (Matt) was great. My challenges, as a GOLD member:1. Plenty of available occupancy, but you could only give me 30 additional minutes for late checkout (11:30 vs 11:00). Caused me significant inconvenience. Gold member benefit when available (plenty of occupancy).2. No airport shuttle unless, according to front desk, I reserve 2-3 days in advance.3. You charged me for wifi, supposed to be free for GOLD members.4. On check-in, front desk made it clear that breakfast was available, but NOT free. No mention of GOLD benefit of free continental breakfast OR food and beverage GOLD benefit/credit.I'm Titanium with Marriott, but have been displeased with their recent service and was exploring alternatives at Hilton properties.A bit disappointing.

Location is great. Hotel is in a safe place. Well lit parking. Didn't see a ton of places to put a trailer but we managed . We showed up at 2:30 am after a very long day of traveling and were met with pleasant staff but were unable to get into a room because they were doing some sort of nightly audit. They had a chance to really wow us with customer service and offer us a cozy spot to sit and relax while we waited but no such thing happened. I expected more from a Hilton. We still stayed but they missed an opportunity to gain a Hilton exclusive traveler. It would have made all the difference.

I cannot comment on my stay as my son ended up having emergency surgery and we were unable to use the room. However, I can attest to the customer service and I have to say it was very disappointing. The hotel would not approve the refund for the room because it was not booked through them. I understand there are certain rules they have to adhere by, but it is beyond my comprehension that they would give me my money back if I paid them directly, but not refund the 3rd party so that I could get my money back. To me that shows a company that cares more about money then the guest!! So as nice as this hotel may appear to be, I would not recommend this Hilton to any of my travel friends ever!

Had a really nice stay. Rooms were very clean, staff was super friendly, and the king deluxe room gave us plenty of space for our family of 4. The pool was warm and provided a great way for our boys to run off some energy. Perfect location off the interstate, but no road noise in the rooms. Breakfast was reasonable and delicious. Highly recommend!

Clean and modern hotel, mediocre service. I travel often for work and usually stay at Hilton branded hotels due to their convenience and flexibility. Being a Hilton Hollie’s Gold member I usually have no issues getting late checkout. This location seemed to be more concerned about getting the rooms cleaned than providing above and beyond service. At 6am on the day of my checkout I asked what was the latest I could checkout, the young man at the front desk said 12pm but to call at 9am. At 9am I called and a female picked up the phone and said she would check with the cleaning crew and get back to me promptly. And hour passed and no call back so I called. This time a male picked up and said that the latest they could do was 12pm. There was no effort to provide above and beyond service. Very disappointing experience staying at a Hilton.

We were there for a family wedding over the weekend and being such a new hotel, everything was well layed out and very clean. They have an outside patio area with fire pits which was a very nice touch. Unfortunately our weekend of blessings came to a halt when the father of the bride passed away suddenly the following day. The staff was so kind and accommodating. They made sure our stay was extended and did everything they could to help us through this difficult time. I wanna thank everyone there as you made a little bit of light in our darkest days. I wouldn't stay anywhere else the next time we are in Iowa.
