Customer service is poor! I don’t mind self check outs but if you are going to limit it to 5 items make sure there is someone around to work at the register. I stood there so long that my freezer items thawed and the guy that was delivering drinks and chips to the store gave me an apologetic look every time he walked by me. I finally found someone only to be glared at like I was being impatient. This is a good way to lose business and cause another store in our town to close!

Most organized and friendly dollar general in a 30-mile radius. Colleen Firkins Manager of Dollar General in Britt. Does a great job with her employees. Keeping the inventory stocked on the shelves for us. I know she puts a lot if hours in to keep her store reputation at a 5 out of 5 stars.

I went to the Dollar General Store in Britt, IA. After a long day of traveling, I made a pitstop here to grab a few things before I made it home. I did not want to stop at the supercenter store. I needed some place that could be quick in and out. The store was about to close when I stepped inside. I apologized for being there so close to closing time. The cashier said it was ok and then told me where to find the few quick items I needed. The two cashiers in the store were both very friendly and nice. I appreciated their help, especially since it had been such a long day for me. The items I got were actually fairly inexpensive compared to other stores. It was clean and organized in an easy-to-find way.

Store is ok. Selections are ok too. Wish that the days of someone counting change back would return and not just handing you the change. You have to count it yourself. Not just at dollar general but most stores are like this. Let's return to some of the old days times. Another thing of the times....stay focused on task at hand and stay off cell phone. Again that is in general of all the shopping stores, gas stations or any store. Be polite and respectful.

LOVE my local DG!! Excellent, Friendly, Helpful Staff, that understandably so, elude to the fact that they are real human beings, INSTEAD of mindless programmed automatons armed with an absolute absence of personality and an undying devotion to divulge anything personal and positive which carries the alarmingly high risk of inspiring socially acceptable inter-personal relationships, and repeat business by choice, instead of circumstance. Of all of the Dollar General stores that I have ever been to, this one is probably my favorite. The aisles are nice an clean, the store is clean and the people that work there are super helpful.

Dollar General in Britt Ia., is a very nicely organized store.Clean and shelves were straight as a pin.I really enjoyed the girl that checked my merchandise,very happy and really personable.

It has everything you could possibly need on the go and they have amazing sales. But watch out because if your not good at handling your money you could end up spending a lot of money.

Very friendly staff. Their free Wi-Fi wouldn't work so I couldn't get to there website to access my Dollar General coupons. Just not many options on products.

Everytime we go to the store there is a technical issue with their debit machines and no one knew how to get money from western union. On their system.
