This brewery in Bellevue Iowa on the Mississippi River is a great spot to enjoy a beer and a pizza by the river. The view from indoor seating, or outdoor seating, is spectacular any time of the year. However the fall season is the best! I have stopped here during the week and it’s quite, come the weekend it’s a happening spot. The staff is very welcoming, personable and friendly. I highly recommend this brewery!

A great stop! Stopped on a Friday to sample some beer and have a snack. Great view of the river. We would love to come back for warmer weather in the summer. The beer was yummy and so wasThe flatbread. It was also a nice place to visit with our two children in tow.

A very fun place, great atmosphere both inside and outside. Fun virw of the river. The selection of brews always broad enough for everyone to find something they liked. The beer slushie was delicious as well. The pretzel bite were great as was the Flatbread pizzas.

The views are great, never had a beer on the Mississippi before, one for the books. The beers are very good and priced right. The only thing I have to knock is the bartender, it just seemed we were bothering her to get a beer.Otherwise great place and views.

Excellent new riverfront patio! Their indoor taproom is huge as well. They have hard seltzers and wine in a can as well. They have snacks but I didn't try them. The outdoor patio overlooking the Mississippi River is sublime. Order some of their excellent craft beer, sit outside, and enjoy the view!

It is rare to find a place with so many of my favorite things. River Ridge Brewing in Bellevue, Iowa checks all of my boxes. My wife and I were coming out to Dubuque, Iowa, and we were looking for a place with beer, food, and a view of the Mississippi River. Our Google search led us to try River Ridge Brewing, and we were amazed. As we pull up to the brewery, the Mississippi River is a stone throw away. Check one of my requirements. As we entered into the brewery, we walked down some stairs to a room with a large bank of windows looking out at the river. We are greeted by the beer tender as if we had been there before and were one of their favorite patrons. The beer list is a combination of core beers with some that rotate. In addition, we were offered local wine and cider. The beer list had a nice variety of styles, not just one style dominating the list like some breweries today. Check off my second requirement. Asking about food, we were given a menu. Sone breweries simply point to a track of chips or tell you to order next door. The menu listed pretzel bites, which offered seven different flavors and dipping sauces for the pretzels. The second section of the menu listed "Massive Pretzels." This had nine different pretzels, which were about 12 to 16 inches across, with special toppings. We ordered the Honey, Ham, and Swiss. Our pretzel came with a buttery glaze, topped with slices of ham and Swiss cheese with a drizzle of honey. For dipping, we were given beer cheese sauces. It was delicious and so big. My wife and I couldn't eat the whole thing. Check off the third requirement. We took our beer and food outside. The brewery has a great patio with many tables and chairs. We say to enjoy our food and drink while watching the lock and dam on the river with white pelicans and bald eagles soaring around the area. River Ridge Brewing is a must stop if you are looking for great service, good beer, delicious food, and fantastic scenery.

Great beer, great outdoor patio overlooking Mississippi. No real food so to speak; they have pretzels or Magoo's pizza on certain days/time. I'd call ahead if you want to plan on eating there to see what time food is available.

What a great small town Iowa brewery along the mighty Mississippi here in Bellevue. Beers were way better than I anticipated, excellent Stout on tap and a very solid offering for an operation of this size.

Wow! Truly a hidden gem! You go down stairs into the brewery. The exposed brick wall behind the bar is a stunning accent. Very roomy with lots of outdoor seating overlooking the river. We met the owner who is super awesome!Delicious brews, too! I had Grandpa Al's Pumpkin Ale & the hubs had the 5th Year Hazy IPA. They don't have a kitchen but do offer snacks or you can order a pizza or soft pretzel.We will definitely be back!

Went on Saturday May 25. Great beer! Reccomend the Who Gives a Rasp, which is a calm Raspberry Sour and the Iowa Bale Ale! The Brewers are really nice and care about their craft.

Ordered a Lock 12 Lager expecting cold and crisp glass of beer and it was not cold nor was it a crisp lager. Bordering on skunky. Sorry, I’ll pass next time.

Outstanding new Brewery in Bellevue, IA!! My wife was raised in Bellevue, and we ALWAYS love coming back to visit this phenomenal river town on the Mississippi. I am a HUGE ipa fan and the Oar WHAT IPA was outstanding and I highly recommend. Just the right amount of hopiness with a very smooth finish....Great job and look forward to visiting again soon......
