This place sure has gone down hill. So many things wrong with it. Got there this afternoon at 3 and there was a sign on the door. CLOSED TIL 5. 1/2 the time you can’t walk down the isle because all the carts blocking them. Most of the time you get to shop off the carts because the truck never gets put away. It’s very convenient but I will drive the 35 minutes to go somewhere else. Employees are not very professional or customer friendly. Went in there today had 2 employees behind counter and they were talking amongst themselves. Rang up my stuff and never even said a word to me. Dollar General you NEED TO do BETTER.

This store has seriously gone downhill! I can’t believe this store is still running. The staff is horrible between being rude and the amount of stuff on the floor, Id rather go to another store. The main guy is extremely rude to people seems like he hates the job. My wife has been in this store multiple tines and nothing but rude comments. I went to go buy something and the package was empty. They need to find some people who actually do there jobs. Very disappointed

8 pm on a Friday & nothing ruined this guy's mood more than the 4 customers that walked in.Nothing ruined my mood more when I got a birthday card for my dad & this guy rolled his eyes that I even walked up to the register. I still smiled & said, "It's okay I will wait" again met with a puff of air & an exhale when another customer walked in.Sorry dude that your night was just so bad. Small Town Avoca... I just needed a card & maybe just a "have a good night".

Its always tight to run a cart through there but i never have any issues with the service or the products. Its a quiet and safe dollar general

Pretty grateful we have this store in Avoca, however, it is seriously declining. You cannot push a cart thru the isles. The shelves are empty. I've been in there every day this week, same stock cart parked in the same spot. Nothing is being put on the shelves. Most of the staff is friendly but this store needs desperate help

This store has amazing prices! I bought the cutest dresses for my daughter clerence out for $2.50 each. This store keeps up with the new styles!

There's a new guy that started working there. Bald with a beard. He's SO RUDE to the customers! Also, very condescending like we are all stupid & can't possibly understand what he's talking about. I used to like going in there. Now, I dread it in case he's working

A lady working there with green hair was cussing to someone on the phone when we walked in with kids and saying racist remarks when we checked out she didn't say 1 word to us and double charged us on a item you can tell she doesn't like her job ! Bad example for dollar general .( especially the racism ) !!!

Our new DG in Avoca is awesome. It's big & roomy. You can get up & down the aisles easily. Not cluttered. Shop local folks...

I have been in a lot of dollar stores and this was the best stocked and CLEANEST Dollar General I have ever been in. Hats off to the employees for a great job.

Carefully tread here... they will apparently ban you for life if they do not like you. I looked up the records... over half the males in the town this sits in are banned for life.
