After buying All laundry soap for 13.99 on sale I went to Walmart and found exact same one for 11.47, which is there regular price. Time to search before buying. Not a happy shopper.

Some of the cleanest most well stocked stores. Always a pleasure to shop at most Hyvees as they seem to take pride in their stores. Not the cheapest, but a good shopping experience.

This review is for the meat department. Hy-Vee puts an ad in the paper for meat and the price per pound. When we go to buy, the manager of the meat department tries to limit the quantity we can purchase. The ad doesn't show any limit.We are forced to get half of what we need and then go back in a few minutes later to get the remainder. Seems like a childish game and not very customer friendly.

GOOD PARENTING, KIND BOYS, and the WILLINGNESS to help a stranger. Thats exactly what I experienced at Hy-Vee in Atlantic about 7:30 tonight. I really like hyvee for groceries.deli is the best. Their tenderloins are extremely good. Deserve to be rated as on of best places to get a tenderloin. Shelves are usually well stocked, if item is not there you can get rain check if it’s on sale. Employees very polite and helpful

The website is not even working, so that's a disappointment. However, my experience with the floral department was worth 6 stars. I live out of state and needed to order some flowers for my mother-in-law in the hospital. The lady on the phone was so nice and helpful. I didn't even know how to explain what I wanted since I couldn't see options on the website, but she helped me every step of the way. I had to call back about an hour later when I found out the recipient was leaving the hospital shortly - in less than an hour. The lady remembered me and said she would make sure that the flowers would make it, and she did!

A very nice Hy-Vee. Great produce section and bakery. They were able to decorate a cake on short notice while we waited (20min). Lots of nice fancy imported cheeses, artisan breads baked fresh and sliced while you wait. They also have a very large organic and gluten free selection.

This Hyvee is awesome, friendly, helpful with patrons,we went through the self checkout and the gentleman helped us with our business and was amazing and helpful.Tanner also helped us find an item, friendly and helpful. We love this Atlantic, Ia Hyvee.

The food used to be awesome until the remodel. Same staff but the staff has its hands tied by corp. I will not come back. This was my omelet, a whole lot of egg, hardly anything else. It was so sad I didn't eat, I took it to the manager and was told her hands are tied and she is limited on portion size of meat. Used to love eating here and recommend it to everyone especially folks with allergies, I am allergic to gluten. It was my breakfast choice because of GF options. This saddens me! I like the manager and the staff to bad there hands are tied.

We were tunning late getting to HyVee in Atlantic. They were closing the store and we needed to get some very needed items at an unknown store. The help in the store helped us find everything we needed and we were back out in very good time . Thanks for a great expedience in a new to us store

I don't know what happened in the last year or so since I've been to the deli, but my lunch was uneatable. Putting "hand-cut" fries in a sealed container in a warmer made them mush. They look okay in the packaging, but they taste horrible. The cheeseburger was overcooked and dry, and whatever seasoning is in there is gross. Years ago the deli was a great place to eat. I suppose maybe help is scarce, but it killed the deli.

They really do mean that there is a helpful smile. Every time I come in every employee I run into greets me ask me if there's anything we can help me with or wish me a great day the pharmacy people are amazing answer all my questions and are focus on the job so I'm not waiting around forever for my prescriptions or for whatever the pharmacist needs to talk to me about

I am not giving up and will try again next time. We ordered catering. The pasta bar was excellent. Except the rock hard breadsticks. The breakfast was missing items and the breakfast casserole we ordered was just cheesy hashbrowns. Not sure if they were supposed to be prepped differently, but we followed instructions and they were inedible. So we cooked longer, but they never softened, but stayed crunchy. Missing chips at lunch (3rd meal), but the pork sandwiches were good. No BBQ sauce included as pictured online, but the pork was good, the potato salad was great. And the beans were good. Breakfast the last day was ok. And lunch the last day never showed up. I called and no manager was there. We ended up without food, but had left overs, so we were OK. They were supposed to call me to discuss and didn't. Then didn't return 2 phone calls. I really needed receipts and to get refunded for the missing food they had precharged me for. Finally, a week later, someone in a different department was FABULOUS. She works in online. She didn't just take a message, but got my receipts. Got my credit. Was very friendly and finally helpful. I appreciate her!!!! All is settled and we will consider trying again.

I love how completely they take care of the customers! If they run out, get a raincheck, or they will let you know when the next truck comes in. If they make a mistake, and smoosh your fruit or vegetables when sacking, take them back to get replaced with no hassle. Never have to worry about shopping at multiple stores for best prices because they will honor the other (local) store's ads!! Freshest produce, and all other products. I also love how they have discounted/clearance carts right by the check out. I never worry about taking cranky kids with because the whole family always has a happy experience shopping there!!!

The floral department went above and beyond in providing outstanding customer service. I live out of town and ordered flowers online from another company for my moms birthday. They used the Atlantic Hy-vee floral department to provide those flowers. There was a mix-up and they got delivered to her 4 days early. No big deal-much preferred to being late! After apologizing profusely to her, they delivered a second bouquet on the originally scheduled date that was just as big and beautiful as what I’d ordered. Thank you for showing such compassion and outstanding customer service! I’ll be ordering directly from you from now on.

Why I love Hyvee. It's clean, everyone wears a mask, they are friendly and helpful.The produce is fresh. The meat counter has great choices.It compares to my favorite in FL. Publix grocery store. Very pleased.

Tonight I was looking for a few items. Bode johnson was more then willing to help me find them. With the new store arrangements it was difficult at first, but he was more then happy to help. Very well spoken young individual with a very bright feature. Only reason for the 4 star is I still don't know what the store director looks like let alone who she is. I really do miss jon johnson. He was the greatest thing that ever happened to this store!!!

I love buying their meat bundles, fruits, and vegetables. They have a great selection of meat bundles. You can get value and a bang for your buck. Their fruits and vegetables are always fresh and beat the local Walmart any day.

This pertains only to the revised Deli area. While the old deli was not ‘to die for,’ it was edible and convenient. HyVee somehow managed to make mediocrity seem like excellence.I bought a Mushroom Swiss burger, fries, and a drink. Which cost me $11.50. I wasn’t expecting much from pre-cooked fries packaged in a plastic container and I was right to keep those expectations low. They had the consistency of wet noodles, didn’t hold their heat and were about as bland as a middle aged accountant.The drink selection isn’t great, but both lemonade and rootbeer were out and despite letting them know, nothing was done about it for the 20 minutes I was there.But the worse part was the burger. The patty was burnt on the outside, like the fries it held no heat and the burger was undercooked, with spots of pink fleshy mush throughout. I ate about 6 fries, 2 bites of burger and half a cup of some sort of black cherry Mt. Dew.I’ll not be returning!

So I went to Hy-Vee this morning to pick up some things for work and when I went to use my tap to pay it had declined so we tried it again and it kept declining they switched me to a different station and yet again it declined two more times and it kept coming up with the same error code so they took me to the customer service check out and again they got the same error code so they told me there was nothing that they could do that my card was declining and it was my fault The manager Tanner decided to yell that it was declined across the store for the most part telling everyone that we went to that my card was declining which is very unprofessional in my opinion and he was just very unprofessional altogether so when I call my bank and ask them what happened they told me that the error code that was running across the decline was a problem with the terminals and HyVee so I don't know what's going on but I would like an apology but I probably won't get them and Tanner should be reevaluated with his customer service cuz it was not my accounts fault at all It was all to do with the terminals and Hy-Vee I don't know what happened or why they didn't take my card but next time they shouldn't be so rude

My friend was in the store on May 30, 2022 and having trouble finding a couple of things I needed to prepare a recipe he remembered from 40 years ago. Mandy stepped right up and not only showed him where 2 of the 3 things were but stayed with my friend to make absolutely certain he located the 3rd item I needed. They carry the Blue Bunny vanilla bean ice cream that my wife and I like. Walmart doesn't. In this day and age I appreciate the option to wear a mask or not because I choose not to. No judgement.
