This is a super spot for the dive culture and local spirit you're looking for! - even during a busy weekend like winter games. The bartender Desi took fantastic care of our party, and with patience & enthusiasm that should be celebrated during such a high traffic time. We were very sweet and she reciprocated that energy. We will absolutely be back tomorrow thanks to her, and the atmosphere.Thanks so much for such a great night!

The most pretentious place I've ever seen! A place called "The Ritz" yet, I got a plastic fork (with one prong broken off) and a Styrofoam plate for a 20 dollar quesadilla that took 30 minutes to make...apparently. Never any parking. Never any open tables. Staff is rude and inattentive. This place sucks and I would not recommend it to anyone. Like ever. What a joke!

The best fish sandwich I have ever eaten. Great place to eat on vacation that is still affordable. If you like eating by the water then this is the place for you! Great view of the lake and boats. Great parking. My only suggestion is service would be a little faster and my water could have been refilled more.

The hot wings are HOT. Our waiter was friendly and really tried. We tied up just for a quick lunch and most people on the deck where having drinks and it seemed a lot of fun.

Decent prices on food and drinks. I had the pulled pork nachos and a margarita, both very good.We came on a Saturday in May around 4 and sat outside. Took about 10 minutes to get a menu. No drink menu was offered (apparently they only show you what they can make in the summer?)My friend ordered a bloody Mary and was given just the drink no "toppings" while others seated next to us were. Tables are very close together which makes navigating not only hard for customers but also staff.Nice that there are docks for boaters to grab a bite. Parking lot was absolutely packed Saturday evening and all of Sunday. Not sure if they take reservations but might be worth looking into if you're coming during peak season.

A don't miss location to relax, enjoy fun food, and an ice cold beverage (or 2!) with water views. Patio is laidback, bright and dog friendly, a real hidden from the street gem! Incredible service and great prices! Live music for those of us "over 50" was an added bonus! Most certainly will return when traveling back in the area!! Thanks for the fun!

Great Burgers and Sandwiches! We didnt have any pizza but it looked great too! Place doesnt look like much but it's exactly what a lake restuarant should be! Food is great, atmosphere is fun, large deck, boat parking...definitely recommended!

Stopped to watch some football while we were in town. Their bloody Mary bar was tasty and their game day menu had lots of yummy looking options. Tried the Lou burger since that's their thing. Simply flavored, but the ingredients were top notch and the burger definitely worth a go. I definitely recommend giving the Ritz a try!

Came here because there was no wait to be seated. That should be your first clue. After getting a table, the real waiting started, an hour to get 3 easy/not good meals just isn’t worth it. Terrible service. Go somewhere else, you’ll be glad you did. Thumbs down.

4 stars because they no longer have a small/large pizza option, but other than that the food is better than average and the views are to die for. Docks available so you can show up by boat as well. The hot sauce that came with the nachos was very good, I put it on my pizza!

Had the best taco pizza here. It is huge and could feed a family of 5. Docked the boat and walked right up. Drinks were cheap and food service was fast. Worth stopping for lunch when out on the lake all day.

Pizza 🍕 was good. Service was awesome. Will return.The one thing that was annoying was when some people drink they get loud and this one ladies laugh was annoying. LOL. She laugh a lot. Must of been a inside joke, upside her head. It was a very annoying laugh too. Like a cackling sound. Oh well, they were having fun. Hope they weren't driving.

Excellent lunch, sat out on the outside patio, beautiful weather. Had the slider of the day and the winter salad with grilled chicken....YUMMY !! And an over the top bloody mary and an informative waitress! Thank you for a great vacation getaway lunch !!

My wife selected a chicken breast as one of the breakfast items on her buffet breakfast. Over half of it was not cooked. We notified the waitress and she said, " I will let the cooks know". No other comments or concerns about weather any of the raw chicken had been consumed. "Just go get yourself another piece".At that point, my wife wasn't going to chance another piece of improperly cooked chicken.The breakfast buffet was not impressive at all. Over priced and over rated.I've had better breakfast at hotels.Save money and go to McDonald's.

I was so disappointed in this place that was recommended by a colleague. The service was horrendous! We waited over an hour for our food.We didn't order anything over the top either. The fries and cheese balls were cold.I had to ask three times for a glass of olives and when it did come there was only two olives in the glass. The table of young adults next to us sure got a lot of attention from our waitress though. I guess having a phone out and playing games was more important than our table that didn't. I wasn't going to leave a tip, but it was added as a gratuity. Explains why she didn't give two cents about serving our table. I will most definently bring my business elsewhere. The Ritz is The Pits!

Don't even try if it's busy. There were nine people in our group, so we expected there would be some wait, but waiting two hours for food is excessive. During that time, our server checked in with us one time, meanwhile playing games with the obnoxious table next to us. Finally, someone from our group went to ask about the food and was told it was being plated. The food was lukewarm/cold. After this kind of service, our bill included 25% gratuity. Despite declining this on the bill, the payer's card was still charged the unreasonable gratuity.

Drinks were good. Food was meh. They have bar table height highchairs which was surprising (we had a newborn with us). No changing table in the bathroom though. Only real good place open during the off season.

Not the Ritz I remember. Walked in to the kitchen staff absolutely screaming at each other. Started to walk upstairs to the patio upstairs and the staff said no. No? Sat on the main patio by the water, tables were dirty with old plates and glasses, but found a seat. We sat for 10 minutes with no service while we watched some guests sit down and get service in less than a minute, while other's took 10 minutes or more. Had one drink and left. Weird place.

We ordered sandwiches. Waitress was not having the best day it seemed. We ate upstairs. Going through main entrance you hato go thru kitchen area to get to steps. That was fine I just asked staff for directionsSandwiches came with fries. Temperature of product was definitely less than 140 holding temp. When waitress came back I told her. She did make it right. Napkins and silverware were not available, but when we spotted the waitress again we asked and Napkins were brought.

My pulled pork sandwich looked nothing like the picture. I couldn't even tell there was pork on the bun until I took off the top part. It didn't even cover the bottom bun. My sweet potato fries were cold, not even lukewarm. I didn't send it back because it to FOREVER to receive our food. The other 3 in our party enjoyed their food. Big juicy burger, BBQ chicken flatbread, tenderloin sandwich were all well portioned and hot. It was a Fri night and they were slammed. Live band playing inside, where we sat. Too loud to hold a conversation unless you yelled. Which, the guy behind us was doing, dropping F-bombs. Don't take young children. It's a bar first, then a grill. Could tell it was a mix of locals and visitors. First time in Okoboji, not what I was hoping. It wasn't horrible, just not enjoyable for me.
