The staff here is always so pleasant. You can definitely tell they like what they do. If they are having a bad day it never shows. Thank you for caring for your job. The Casey’s by our house the kitchen person never wants to dirty their hands or dishes to make food for your guests. Shame on them. I’ll give you my business on my way home any time of day. Very clean and very polite people in Casey's only problem is trying to find a parking spot drop trailers everywhere and local drivers block spots with their cars to save spots then on weekends they park their big trucks and leave. Two car haulers have been sitting there for at lease a month now that I know of.

Really sweet staff that work here!Their food is always very fresh and delicious!The showers are only $8.00... they were very clean, lots of room and the water pressure and temperature were A+.The parking lot for us truckers is always clean with great lighting.Thank you Casey's!

Stopped in 3 times last week (different times and days of the week) to grab something quick to eat. ALL 3 times, no pizza, no sandwiches, absolutely nothing available even though the kitchen appeared "open". If you are looking for a quick lunch, breakfast or snack save yourself some time and go elsewhere.

Nice clean Truckstop .The problem is that the local truck drivers use it as their FREE truck parking they come on friday and satarday park their truck jump in to the wife's car and they are gone till monday. During the day cars will be parked in the truck parking to block and reserve spots for them .And there is no room fo drivers who are PAYING customers drivers who will remain in their trucks and buy things from the store .I hope the owners will do something or they will lose money from non paying locals who use their location as a free private parking.

OTR truck drivers here….what a pleasant surprise to find a place to park AND have delicious pizza! This pizza slice was bought individually and some of the best pizza ever!!!! I believe it was bbq chicken with onions and jalapeños….sooooo good

Very nice, newer truck stop. Only about 45 semi parking spots. A better layout could accommodate about 10 more. The interior is very clean with good amenities. Picnic area & fenced in dog run outside.

For a "new" store this leaves a lot to be desired. Could not get near donuts, there was a heavyset employee hovering in front of them sampling them all. So I select something else. Get to the check out an am informed its cash only, no signs anywhere or I would have not even went in. Entire store disorganized and kind of dirty. Let's try to be able to support the store you have before opening new stores you can't support.

The fact that this store is walking distance to the corporate office speaks volumes about Casey's as a corporate entity. This is how they want to do business.You cannot come to this store and expect your visit to be quick, or convenient. It is literally always understaffed. The poor employees run 2 registers at once trying to keep up, but they cant. There is almost always a line 3-4 customers deep. A simple trip in to get a beer or a snack takes 10-15 min because they wont staff accordingly.I work accross the street, at the DMV and we have far better customer service. The DMV is better staffed than a convenience store- let that sink in folks. I quit going to this store all together.

Went in to get some pizza for lunch. 2 whole cheese pizzas sitting there almost untouched. 1 slice of pepperoni and no beef or sausage. Look closer and the pizza says it was supposed be enjoyed by 45 mins ago. The 3 girls in the kitchen are all huddled up and laughing and occasionally on their phones doing little to no work. I stood there for 10 mins to see if new pizza would come out but they did nothing but text laugh and 1 brought out a few cold sandwhiches.Come on managment put your workers in line.Went back today because i had to use the restroom and 2 of the 3 stalls were out of TP. Worst caseys in DSM area.

Stop for fuel frequently but will not stay do to a impossible parking lot. Why anyone would build a truck parking lot on the side of a hill is beyond me. And no matter what time of day more than half of the spots have cars parked in them or Bob tail trucks taking up the whole spot. If you are lucky enough to get a spot to park you'll probably roll out of your bunk in the middle of the night.

Great people and great food, I am here multiple times a week. I would give it 5 stars but it is hard to find parking because all of the local drivers using it for a drop yard.There are 2 car haulers parked in the center parking area, they have been there for over 2 weeks with one of them moving for one day.There is also a CDL school that parks their 2 trucks and trailers on the lot every day and leaves them all weekend long along with the numerous dropped trailers.

Dropped trailers. Other spots are filled with cars to hold spot for big rig to return.Disappointed that management has not stopped this considering it a a fairly New location.It is clean, good lighting, and has a dog park. Unfortunately, some drivers use this location for long term parking.

Every time I go in there they have 1 employee working checkout a long line of truckers and it’s by far “convenient”. I put my stuff down and went to another (much smaller) Casey’s and they had 4 employees behind the counter.

80% of the truck parking is dropped trailers, daycabs, cars, and unattended trucks. That's absolutely ridiculous. I guess the paying customers go take their money elsewhere. This Tucker trailer pictured has been sitting here over a month now...

Well, the staff overall seems quite friendly and polite. I did have quite an issue and a rather inappropriately rude interaction on the part of a single employee. This employee was not on the clock and was just loitering around. I was passing through and stopped to get coffee and update my YouTube channel. I was assured by multiple on shift employees that I was okay. This off work employee then proceeded to call his GM and gets permission to very rudely threaten me with Trespassing and recorded a video; which I asked to be sent to me but was flatly denied and was told the video would be going to corporate. The issue was apparently caused by my "self advertisement" being bad for business, the fact I appeared as I did. It's sad to see such an otherwise fantastic store fall so short due to the bigotry of a single individual; and obviously at odds with the opinions of the other staff members. Was unnecessary and if absolutely needed could have, and should have, been handled differently; without the notable disdain and aggressiveness. Unfortunately have to go out of my way to not recommend and makes sure to pass this experience along to everyone I know traveling on the road.

I frequently have my trucks fuel up at this truckstop during the day. The manager on first shift is always glad to give us a free fountain drink with our fuel purchase.However, I stopped by during second shift for a change and the evening manager thanked me for my $640 fuel purchase but said she had to charge me for my fountain drink.I explained to her how I’m a regular customer that spends $1,000 a day in fuel and how our drinks always are free with our fuel purchase. She apologized but said no, sorry.I said fine, I’ll gladly take my business to Kwik star from now on who appreciates my business.

This Casey's is a very nice facility, a worker told me it's about the busiest in the Des Moines metro area. The access for tractor-trailers is very quick and convenient, and the fuel island was clean with the diesel and DEF pumps in good working order.

As someone that parks here weekly and also spends $8000 to $10000 a month at Casey’s on fuel, to come back to a tag on my vehicle threatening impoundment (that is absolutely in NO ONES WAY) when you literally have cars in the truck parking lot with 2 flat tires on them that are not tagged. Dropped trailers that have been sitting in the same spots for weeks that aren’t tagged either. You just lost my business, I will not buy a single item at Casey’s again. Have a good day ☺️

Like the location and the lot is ok as it is a bit uneven. The store is good too.The high amount of abandon cars in the lot on a regular bases is unreal. Cars are left in truck spaces with snow on top of them. Then add in a nearby truck driving school that uses the lot as their own business lot and daily straight trucks it sort of limits the actual space available for OTR trucks.Clean the lot up please.

Well I thought this problem was getting fixed, but I guess people just say things you want to hear and not just man up and fix the problem even if it hurts people with thin skin. Had to Circle the lot 3 time got lucky. This is the reason why. 4 cars here same on the side I'm on. They lost my business. I will buy fuel and food somewhere else

If you try to pre pay gas on a pump with cash FORGET IT. Two times ive found myself in the worst situation possible where im low on gas, stop here, pre pay and then the pumps dont work. Walk from pump to cashier 3 times in the cold, change pumps, same thing. No explanation each time why it happens, never a solution either. Always have to get my money back and go else where. This happened twice, it wont happen a third. A gas station that cant provide gas….go anywhere but here.

Suppose to offer overnight parking for truck drivers, 15 dropped trailers looks more like a drop lot, this is where my 11 hour ends and anymore you never know if you can find a parking spot.
