What an amazing spot. Books, candles, stationary, stickers, clothing, birthday gifts. This place has everything. Also a wide variety of children’s book, a loft upstairs to read and hang out in. They sell coffee and other beverages.Social events are hosted hear through their book clubs. My favorite being Thrills and chills! This book store not only have a wide variety but also so many fun and intricate events for you to have a good read. Must stop if you need a book store near you.

This is a very small town bookstore. They do seem to carry the best sellers, but they also carry lots of books from local authors. The staff are polite and the store is quaint. It is a great place to go to shop local not just for books, but also for cute socks, stickers and other cute odds and ends.

Very nice bookstore. Staff is helpful & friendly. We missed seeing the dog on our visit, but it was after dinner time. Located on the first floor and parking in the area is available. Very good selection of books, stickers, buttons, magnets, pens, and there is coffee and cookies as well. I would definitely go back to revisit this establishment.

Beautiful store! The aesthetic alone could keep me there forever. I have been in several times and can always find a great book (for myself and my children). If you’re lucky you’ll get to meet and pet the sweet shop dog! Such a unique assortment.

This store is an entire experience! The book selection is fantastic and many feature wonderful reviews and suggestions from staff members. There is space for small gatherings and multiple book clubs. There is historic charm and art. The women owners have done a fantastic job of making Dog Eared Books a book lover's dream.

I recently made my second visit to Dog-Eared Books and it was just as enjoyable as my first. The store was busy (thanks for supporting independent bookstores!) and the staff were hustling to help customers, but every interaction I had, observed or overheard was friendly and polite. These are people who love books and want to share that love with others. I adore Dog-Eared Books and will be back soon!

Dog Eared Books is my all time favorite book store. It may be my favorite place in the whole world, because the atmosphere is perfect. They are so amazingly welcoming and kind. They will talk about books with you, and you can tell they are really passionate about what they do. I love this place so much, they are my perfect dream bookstore, and I wish I could live there. The only word I could use to describe this place is AMAZING!

Absolutely amazing pre-owned selection. Great prices on new books, some cheaper than Barnes & BAM. The staff was incredible. I heard one staff member explaining in depth her favorite books to other customers. She was giving great recommendations all around. The atmosphere was phenomenal and I could've spent the whole day here. I spent a little over $20 on four used books.

My husband went into dog-eared books because I told him that I was going to be going there at some point in the near future to spend a gift card that my daughter got me for Mother's Day.He called my sister and asked my sister what kind of books I like to read and of course my sister told him that Colin Hoover was one of my absolute favorite books and he picked out two books and was so proud when he brought them home because he knew that I like them. Unfortunately it was two books that I had just most recently read and I went ahead and went back the next day and returned those books. Got credit for them and then proceeded to buy for new books with the money that he spent and the gift card for my daughter.They have a really good selection of books in there. They also have really cute magnets and bookmarks and pretty much anything that you would want from a bookstore and the staff was very polite and helpful.Definitely a must check out place!!

We love this spot and are fortunate to have this in town. It has a pretty hip vibe and an amazing kids section. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. We buy our friends that are expecting books from here and they will wrap upon request. They have some unique socks, magnets, and ornaments for sale too. If you are downtown I would recommend you go in, especially if you have kids.

I went to the clearance area of the bookstore. With the name “Dog-Eared books”, and since it is advertised as a used book store, I figured there would be a lot of used books. The used books section is probably less than 1% of what is sold in the actual store. Anyway, I found two Sabaa Tahir books with a price sticker that said $2.99 on the side. I thought, “That’s a decent price.” When I picked the books up, there were stickers on the front of the books that said $6.00. I showed an employee. She proceeded to scratch off the $2.99 stickers, told me they were a mistake, and asked if there was anything else she could do to “help” me. I said no thank you and left.

This book store has helped me in more ways than just one. Besides having a wonderful and uplifting staff, a great selection of books, and an outstanding atmosphere, this book store has saved me as a teacher! I am a first year teacher and was struggling to get books for my classroom. Knowing this, the book store offered me several FREE books for my students and keeps giving to my classroom as the year goes on. I am thankful to have this type of support in the community. I recommend this store to absolutely everyone, especially teachers!

This is a wonderful book store. It's very clean and cozy inside. They also have so many personal touches from staff reviews to a children's hidden area to play to an upstairs loft to work and read quietly. They also have drinks and the staff are always knowledgeable and helpful. Don't forget to check out the stellar used book section either!
