Traveled a great distance to come to Chocolate Haus. Didn't disappoint. They WILL have something you'll love. They also offer subscription boxes if the distance is too far for your yummy treats. I recommend their fudge! The town of Amana will also take you a whole day to explore. So much to do. But this little shop is worth the drive.

The fudge is amazing! My mother made fudge when I was a child & non has compared since, till now. This fudge has the same texture, not gooey. Love it!!!! I would not have bought any if it wasn’t the staff who let me sample a piece & made me a believer. They even had no added sugar candy for my husband who is a type 1 diabetic, not quite as much carbs!

I ordered Cookies n Cream frappe! It was really good! The shop has lots of handmade chocolate. Price of the chocolates is little bit high. No sitting area. It has creative chocolates. Good place to visit.

The Chocolate Haus has a nice variety of chocolates made on site. They also have a variety of iced and hot coffee and lattes available. We enjoy visiting and trying out their goodies when we're visiting the Amana Colonies.

The chocolate Haus has very helpful and friendly staff along with delicious chocolates. They even sell a wide variety of sugar free chocolates. I highly recommend this shop for a friendly visit and a delicious treat.

I bought a small box of milk chocolate caramel for $14 which I feel is super expensive for eight pieces. I didn't find the chocolate to be outstanding. Small shop as most of them are in the area.

We stopped in after a walking winery tour with friends. They have an amazing selection of chocolates and the coffee smelled divine! We got two scoops of ice cream each. It was delicious, and hit the spot after being out in the heat for a while. The ladies behind the counter were so nice, even after the rush hit 😀 Great stop! Excellent place to get chocolates. They have a good selection of truffles, fudge drops, meltaways, sugar free chocolates, and more. The people were friendly, telling us which were the most popular and packing the chocolates so they weren't crowded. Also packing the sugar free chocolates separately. The smell of cooking fudge and caramel was mouth-watering. We didn't actually eat any of the chocolates (they were gifts), but the people we gave the chocolates to loved them.

OH MY GOODNESS!! The homemade chocolate, fresh caramel, mouthwatering fudge and all the other goodie’s how can you not stop here, I highly recommend stopping at the Chocolate Haus for amazing homemade candy. Service is great.

I don’t usually expect a good coffee from a place like The Haus. I expect a rather mediocre coffee honestly. It seems most gift shop or snacks type places add a coffee machine as a way to make extra dough while making something such as doughnuts! Oh hey! Well, my latte was good, real good. Also, my chocolate covered Oreo was quite good. And that white chocolate covered cherry should happen again someday....

Wonderful family owned shop - delicious fudge, chocolates (and more!) and they make the best gifts! I don't live in Iowa anymore but it's a must-stop when I'm back to visit and I always recommend it to friends.

This is one of my favorite places to stop at when I go to the Amana Colonies. They have wonderful caramels, to die for fudge and huge chocolate truffles. You can also get great coffee and other confections. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

If you like chocolate, this is a place you'll want to stop at. Huge variety, helpful folks, some free samples of their wonderful fudge. I stop there every time I go to the Amana's (several times a year) and always leave with several treats!! They can also ship candy anywhere you like, too!

Took the kids to The Amanas for a day. Five kids can be daunting, but the lovely staff was patient and helpful. The Chocolate Haus has a wide selection of chocolate candy, truffles, and fudge. Everything we tried was very good! We will definitely be returning next time we are in the area.

Cute, friendly place with the world's best chocolate! Salted caramels and caramel apples are amazing! Always decorated so adorably with a fun vibe. Assorted boxes make terrific gifts. Love this place!
