The store has a great selection of stuff for all sorts of animals and offers bulk foods to buy, the store is very organized as well. A couple things I do not care much for are the prices, they are a tad bit high, but its understandable they are the only pet store for 30 miles. The other thing that really disappointed me is.In the beginning of 2024 John & Lisa the owners retired. Best of luck to them as they are wonderful people that I have known since J&K originally opened down on Market Street.My dad and I used to breed guinea pigs for J&K, we could simply call the store and talk to John or Lisa and they always took our animals in and traded for store credit. We where one of the first customers to walk in the original store. And from then on we ALWAYS went to J&K for our pets, cages, food and treats. We bought a total of at least 10 ferrets throughout the years, probably 20+ Guinea pigs and cages.Now all thats gone. I recently got 2 rats from J&K and bred them, I asked at that time if they still traded them for store credit. The lady said yes but shs needed to give my name and number to ths new owners so they could call men. A week past, no phone call. So I called the store again and asked to speak to the owners, well I got the run around once again and had to leave my name and number and was told they would call me tomorrow, they never did. The third time I called the store the clerk asked me if I just wanted to donate them, I said heck no, not when the store will sell them for $13 each. So I was told again they would take down my name and number. Still nobody called me.The point of all this is, you would think an owner would care enough about a very long time customer to return their call.As a customer myself (not including my dad) for over 20 years it is SAD to say that I WILL NO LONGER BUY, FOOD, TREATS, ANIMALS, or ANYTHING ELSE from J&K AQUARIUMS.

It is big and clean full of supplies for just about any pet. There were many knowledgeable staff on hand offering to help. I found many dog items I'd never seen before & I SHOP for dog treats & toys! ❤️

AMAZING pet store! Looks tiny on the outside but HUGE on the inside. Lots of cool animals you can see and pet, including GIANT koi fish and a baby pig! Lots of variety for their pet supplies, and you can tell the staff really care about the animals. I don't live anywhere near Wabash, but I will definitely have to come back here for my pet supplies and maybe even a few new pets!

Huge selection for all your pet supply needs. Great selection of fish, reptiles. They have all kinds, even Pot Belly Pigs. And the Koi pond inside is great!

They have a great selection, fair prices, and knowledgeable staff. All the pets look well taken care of. All of our fish from here have done great. Not something I can say about competitors. It's always worth the drive for us.

I always love to visit because the animals are so much fun to watch that it clears my mind. The pond is amazing. The turtles / tortoise are my favorite.I am very thankful to the owners for the help they give so many people.

They are always so sweet to my dog and got her in quickly to bathe and trim nails. Large selections of supplies. Also enjoy seeing the mini pigs when they have one.

Nice store, large selection of items. Like being able to feed the fish and turtles. Nifty tortoise enclosure as well. Only issue was the checkout staff. They were more concerned with talking to an off the clock employee than they were with ringing up our purchase. Good experience all things considered. We'll be back.

I never have a problem finding just the right treats for my dog. We love the natural treats and they have a fantastic variety.

The way they have all the rats enclosed is so sad. In bedding that will give rats respiratory problems, not cleaned, only a water and food bowl, no toys, no treats. One rat was alone in an enclosure which is sad cause rats get depressed when alone, and one was insanely overfilled. It was depressing.

I bought a baby bird from here and her wings looked like this an absolute chop job. I was asking a young boy questions and he was very honest about not knowing much about the birds I’m not upset with him but he did say he didn’t know if they came in clipped or if someone came and did it but whoever is clipping the birds wings need to know this is not what they are supposed to look like they potentially damaged this bird for life

This is the biggest pet store I've ever experienced. I drive from over an hour away and it's worth the trip. Their prices are great and they have almost everything I could ever need for all of my pets. They have tons of very clean aquariums and stock them with very healthy looking fish. There's a HUGE pond in the store that is a must see. You will not regret a trip to J&KS mega pet
