Hobby Lobby recently reopened in the old Kmart building in Terre Haute and the renovation is beautiful. It is much larger then their old location which enables them to carry a lot more inventory.In my most recent visit there I was able to capture this very inviting Fall sign for my entryway. They have a huge stock of Fall and Christmas decor to enhance anyone's decor. If you haven't been to their new location, you need to get there soon to see what you have been missing! You used to be able to get art supplies here, but they have dropped nearly all the real brands and only carry their generic and low quality house brand. The "Master's Touch" stuff is not suitable for anything other than crafts. If you want real quality art supplies, you will need to look elsewhere. If you want stuff for your kid to scribble with, "Master's Touch" will be fine. It is very frustrating seeing Hobby Lobby go downhill like this, dropping quality brands in favor of bumping their profits up a couple percentage points by peddling their generic brand.

The wife and I love this store. If we're looking for something to do to pass the time, or looking for simple decor for the house. This is the first place we stop. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. They even tell you when things are going to be on sale to help you have money.

Had a terrific server that offered suggestions on the most popular ciders.We tried the Apricot & Honeysuckle which was very mildly flavored.Will go again for apperitizers and hard cider.Nice seating to see downtown lights 👌.

Lot of crafty stuff. I went for prisma colored pencils. There's not a lot of choice in color, by buying them individually. I would like to see more individual color choices.

Hobby Lobby has taken to becoming Walmart/Kroger. No more name brand products, only their own, lower quality brand at a mark up. If you are looking for quality art supplies, check out MuseArt. If they don't have it on the floor, they can get it for you and are very helpful.

The setup is always a little chaotic, and of course it changes seasonally especially at Christmas. They always have cute things I’m looking for (and also things I’m not) and craft supplies for literally every project.

Fun place to shop. Every one is so friendly and willing to help, especially an employee named Ronna in the Terre Haute store. She even helps customers if she is off the clock and heading out the front door. Also like that the restrooms are at the front of the store and easy to acess.

Very polite and informative customer service. Both times that I had asked for what I believed to be moderately obscure items, I was directed immediately to the section of the store that had those items. Be careful though, this is the kind of store that - if you are inherently creative and artsy whatsoever - you could come looking for one thing, and hit the checkout line with 50 items!

New building, same great atmosphere. Careful on the hobby knives. The kit that I got had nicks in the blade and the small blade that I actually need for plastic miniatures was very soft.

Shopping at Hobby Lobby While BLACK.I wanted to get a couple of pictures professional framed. This was my first time in a Hobby Lobby Store. Initially, no worker was at the area. When she did arrived, she did not acknowledge me or say hello. When I spoke to her and told her I am interested in getting my pictures matted and frame, 2 men came over and she stated to me that they were here before me. No one was when I arrived, but that's fine, I let that go. When those two men left, she walked passed me to attend to another customer who came up and she addressed him and asked if he needed help! When she was close to finishing ringing him up. I asked her if there was a problem, because you told me that I was behind the two men who were there, then you walk pass me and address this customer who was after me. She then stated that it was a crazy day and the two man initially wanted them to frame it and decided to do it themselves. Of course, this explanation did not address what I asked her. Because there isn't many options in Terre Haute, I decided to get two pictures instead of one professional matted and framed.I work hard and just wanted to enjoy finally finding frames for my drawing and paintings. Hobby Lobby already has a reputation against acknowledging peoples civil rights. Well, I guess they stayed on brand..

I love this place. They seem to always have exactly what I need for my next project! And a huge help during VBS too! The only complaint I could have is their employees don’t seem very keen on helping people find things and when asked, they’re not very knowledgeable about where they’re at either! There was a sweet young lady there a few weeks ago making price changes on some jewelry up towards the checkouts and she offered to check prices for the things we were interested in to see if it was on sale or not! Very kind.

The store environment was clean and tidy. The aisles are a lot better than the previous location. The staff there are also very helpful. Had a nice encounter with a worker who took the time and effort to help me find an item.

Great store love the new location. I dont think it was done on purpose and I normally check my recipe but got double charged on a b-day card. If it wasn't so far away I would have gone back but would have spent double the over charge in gas.
