Dapper Dog done a wonderful job and took good care of our beloved Cooper . We even received a follow up call and card for Cooper in the mail asking how he was doing and if we were satisfied with the service that he received. Love when local businesses follow up with clients and ask for feedback to help improve their business and customer experience. Highly recommend!

Shane does a really good job with my dogs! My one dog is nervous around strangers, but Shane has helped him with overcoming that fear. He's beginning to learn that strangers aren't going to hurt him; even though he doesn't like his nails cut at ALL, he still trusts Shane. Props all around.

I took my 6 month old mini Schnauzer in for a haircut and a bath. He was very overdue. I picked the length that I wanted and requested they kept his beard. I received a phone call telling me his legs were matted and they couldn’t use the guard for the length I had requested them to be. First, that’s bogus because he gets brushed daily (he had gotten damp from the morning dew but definitely wasn’t “matted”). Secondly, they could have easily used shears on his legs as he is comfortable with them being used. I did agree to allow her to use the shorter guard even though it wasn’t what I wanted and feel she really didn’t try. When I picked him up, I was shocked!!! His beard was short and very uneven!! He was basically cut the same length all over and looked like a skinned rat with busy eyebrows. (Picture if you will, the dad from American Pie. 😡) I pointed out his beard was uneven and she offered to “fix” it which meant even shorter! I then noticed long hairs around his private area. I paid extra to have his nails filed after being cut. They were still sharp. Definitely not worth $66!!! If I could give them a negative star I most certainly would!! Highly do NOT recommend Dapper Dog!!!!

My wife works at this location. Her and all of her workers offer Top Notch services that can't be beat by any other pet grooming area in this city. They really care about the animals they provide service for and this is a excellent location to take your animal to.

The worst grooming experience I have ever had. I came here because my coworkers raved about how cute their dog was afterwards with matching bandanas to the owner. My dog needed a cut but didn’t deserve the shave down she received. She’s a mini goldendoodle and looked like a rat. Her tail had no hair on it when it looked so beautiful beforehand (feathered like a golden retriever). And I didn’t get anything I asked for including the bows and bandana. Highly disappointed and very overpriced. I wished I would have bought clippers from Walmart and did it myself. I would have got the same result if not better. I cried the whole way home. Don’t ever take your babies here!

I take my baby here. Alexis is so good with her. The only draw back is that it is so small inside and only 1 person can be checked in at a time therefore only 1 person can be inside the building and the others are left standing outside waiting to get their pet checked in. It is also the same for puck up.

I absolutely LOVE Dapper Dogs on 25th St in Terre Haute. Everyone who works there seem to genuinely love dogs and are always good to my dogs, Maisie and Sophie. Maisie is scared of heights, car rides and suffers separation anxiety, however they offer an express service that allows me to pick her up before their lunch break. (usually around 12:30). They bring Sophie and Maisie out to me looking beautiful and smelling great!! Thank you, Dapper Dogs!! You're the best!!!

Called Dapper Dog to set up appointment to get my dog her nails trimmed, ears cleaned and a bath. They told me a price and we set up a time and day. On said day they tried to raise the price. I left my dog with them and was told she would be done about 1 / 1:30. I decided to call before driving and finding that she wasn't. They then said 3 and they would call. At about 4:30 they called and said she was ready. They didn't give her a bath they didn't clean her ears and they didn't trim her nails. They sprayed perfume and put a bandanna on her and tried to charge me full price. They said she wouldn't let them trim her nails. The problem was that they trimmed one to short and probably hurt her. They didn't even try to clean her ears. After picking up my dog I could tell they had not even gave her a bath.

The staff was super kind and accommodating. They worked around my schedule to drop off and pick up my pet. My kitty came back to me very happy and looked so adorable after her grooming.

Just moved back to the terre haute area, and was lucky enough to find dapper dog. I can't imagine finding a better place to have taken Gracie. They didn't excellent job. They took the time to find out exactly how I wanted her groomed. They explained all the costs of the extras, no surprises in price. I couldn't be happier..

I took my baby girl Abby there for a haircut and bath. She smelled good and looked great. Dapper Dog is where she will go from now on. The staff are very friendly. Service with a smile is always a good thing

I took my havanese to get cut today being the 4th visit.. They butchered her!!! They cut her fine the other three times.. Havanese has long hair you never shave them. If they are matted than demat them with your tools.. I’m very dissatisfied and when I called and told them they didn’t apologize NOTHING!! I could have shaved her at home and put a bow in her hair. And they had her from 8am-4 is that not enough time to demat her and cut her properly?? Bawling 😭 my eyes out.

We took our fur grandbaby Sadie Michelle Marie, who's a 2 year old beagle to have her groomed. Sadie has severe separation anxiety and doesn't like her paws messed with. The ladies at Dapper Dog, truly did an amazing job with Sadie. I am ABSOLUTELY AMAZED AS TO HOW WELL THEY DID WITH MY FUR GRANDDAUGHTER, AND HOW SHINEY AND SOFT HER FUR IS, AS WELL AS GOOD SHE SMELLS. We also were totally in awe as the the absolutely adorable lil doggie bandana that she was sent home wearing. Our Sadie came home so proud and happy and feeling good. We absolutely recommend Dapper dog to everyone who has a fur baby in need of grooming. The ladies are very kind, compassionate and caring for their clients and the fur babies that come to them. Very professional, polite respectful and caring and loving. I absolutely am a lifetime client now. Our sadie loves them as well. Very MUCH SO WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! They are reasonably priced and am impressed with the cost for all we got done. We have went to other places and they were double and even trippled the price for the exact same thing we got done at Dapper Dog. I just want to tell the ladies at Dapper Dog, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HELP WITH OUR FUR GRANDBABY LIL MS. SADIE MICHELLE MARIE. SHE SAYS THANK YOU AS WELL FOR MAKING HER FEEL PRETTY AND FEEL BETTER AND LOVED. YOU LADIES ARE THE BEST AND TRULY ROCK!!! So if you or anyone you know needs your fur baby groomed... ... ...
