Love these people my dog needed some help and they was more eager to help. I didn't have the money to get his wound stiches and my buddy thank God loan me 300 to get him some stapling and cleaning up. They are the best in my opinion and I am great full they are here in Rolling Prairie.

I have NEVER been more impressed with a Veterinary clinic than I have this one! Dr. Szuba and all her staff were phenomenal. I not once felt rushed or pushed aside. Everyone welcomed me and Roo my golden with smiling faces and got write on the floor with him. ​I felt like everything I said to Dr. Szuba and her staff was taking seriously. In the past at OTHER clinics ive been made me feel like a "crazy dog mom" so it was just so refreshing to not get that feeling. I will never go anywhere else!

Update 11/9/22 worked with Dr Szuba and she has been taking care of my buddy for a couple years. Today we had to put him down due to his cancer that just took over his body since April of this year. Dr. And all the staff very kind and gentle with buddy and with my husband and I as this was a very difficult day for us and for them too. Thank you so much Dr Szuba for your kindness and sincerity and letting us stay with our love while he crossed over the rainbow bridge. We love your staff and everything you do for the community. Your kindness and love are what helps in these difficult times. Very nice people so gald that my friend recommended them. My buddy was very calm and was not scared. They are all very friendly and helpful and gentle. Will be going back for our pet needs. Its a drive for us but I'm pleased with all the staff.

10 out of 10 best vet clinic in La Porte County. I will never take my dogs anywhere else.A few weeks ago we had to put our dog to sleep after 13 years together and the experience with Oak Knoll was exceptional.I’m crying again typing this.Copper was treated so well, the procedure was quick and painless and peaceful. The staff were all so kind and caring.After, the office mailed us a sweet sympathy card signed by everyone. I truly appreciate them and they way they treated not only Copper, but me and my husband as well.Recently, our other dog was sick and it was after hours. The office staff were super nice and they let me bring her in to be seen for an urgent care visit anyway.I’ve got other stories from the last couple of years we’ve been going there, but you get the idea, I highly recommend Oak Knoll!

I took my sister’s dog there yesterday (he is half Moose, I swear) and I was very impressed with everyone there— they were all extremely kind and professional. It was very evident that the staff truly enjoys working with animals. Who wouldn’t love that job??Will return. 5/5

Dr. Szuba helped us with our English Mastiff. Harley was 13 years old and told us he was ready to end his journey here. We called around, and no one could get us in or able to come to our house. Dr. Szuba was able to help us through one of the most complex decisions we had to make. Dr. Szuba was informative and patience with me when I was lying with Harley and crying. Dr. Szuba has a beautiful, caring, and compassionate side. I highly recommend her. If I could give 100 stars, I would! Our family is switching to her after 23 years with our previous vet!

Been here a few times with my older cats & I am so happy we started coming here. I've had terrible experiences with a particular vet in Valpo so I was hesitant to try someone else because I didn't want another vet who would tell me I can't afford surgery so I just need to put my cat down. The entire staff is caring & thorough with instructions on medications. I am extremely happy with this clinic & would recommend them to anyone!

I absolutely love everyone here at Oak Knoll. My wife and I are a family with 6 cats. They are all of different ages and our eldest cat has been having problems lately within the last year. Every time we take her in, they are all so happy to see her and us. All of the staff there are so kind and understanding. They listen to all of our concerns if we have one with our cats. I could go on and on about this crew at Oak Knoll. Dr. Szuba is awesome and the addition of Dr. Saddie has been great! They absolutely make me feel like they could be a part of family. Always turning to Oak Knoll for any cat visits and check ups we have!

Everyone there was so kind. All the techs were great with my dog. The doctor was very knowledgeable and explained things to me. This is the cleanest, best decorated that’s office that I have ever seen! And if you can believe it, it smells amazing! Not a hint of urine, Pine-Sol, or bleach! I won’t go anywhere else.

Dr. Szuba and Jen are amazing. We have home visits due to my dog having seizures, they are very patient and you can tell they truly care, which is a far cry from our previous vet. I’m so glad we found Oak Knoll. It’s the only vet I will use for any future pets.

The care & compassion is top notch! We've bounced around to different vets in the past because of moving or just not the right fit, but my dogs love going here & we love bringing them! This being Stella’s first visit she usually experiences high anxiety & didn’t experience near the level she has with previous vet appointments. She left with pearly white teeth. The entire staff were incredible! We had taken our dog in and he ended up needing emergency surgery and they took such good care of him and were all very caring and helpful to us throughout the process and aftercare! I just want to compliment Dr. Mercedes Gumm and every staff member we interacted with when I brought my dog Henry in for his first appointment on 11/08/2022. I feel better about his health and his treatment plan than I have in the two years we've had him. Everyone was so kind and listened so carefully to me when I was going over his extensive health history. Dr. Gumm came up with an acute treatment plan, a long term plan, changed his food - which he LOVES, and discussed future treatment options for him. We've very excited to start laser therapy.But most importantly, after only 2 1/2 days on his new medications and the increase in his Apoquel dosage, he's noticeably feeling better! His licking/chewing/scratching has decreased dramatically, his skin is already starting to improve, he's sleeping better,, he seems to be out of pain, and he's not pawing at his left ear for the first time in months. He's like a different dog tonight and I cannot thank you enough. It's wonderful seeing him happy, relaxed, and relieved. I cannot believe he's never been given an anti-inflammatory for pain until now; what a difference it's made! I'm just amazed at how much better he's doing already.

Wonderful place to take your beloved animals. They work quickly. Our St. Bernard came in for a surgery and they were very kind and knowledgeable about the procedure, made us feel comfortable and had excellent communication skills.

Dr. Szuba is one of the most caring and knowledgeable veterinarians. She loves on my dog the way I would when we visit and goes out of her way to spend as much time as needed- never rushed. Her staff is equally as attentive and professional. The clinic itself is beautiful! Always a pleasure to visit!

Dr. Szuba and the team at Oak Knoll Veterinary Clinic are what keeps me driving 45 minutes to take my beloved dog for care. They are such a friendly and kind staff, that you can tell truly love animals and their careers. Beyond the care and kindness is the transparent and cost-effective pricing. My doggo had to have several teeth pulled, we got a quote at a closer vet... Their quote was $1,300 - $2,700. We went to Oak Knoll and they were astonished at the quote, and ended up being able to take care of my fur baby for less than half of the other vet's low end quote. They treated my dog like their own and he healed quickly. We will never go to another vet!

I brought my very sick dog in to see Dr. Szuba for the first time yesterday. Everyone from the receptionist, the vet assistants to Dr. Szuba herself were so kind and compassionate. The office was clean and bright and my sweet dog was handled so beautifully with her comfort being absolutely the most important thing. It was so important to me to have my sweet Ellie in a place where her care and her comfort was of utmost importance.

My dog had an emergency in the middle of a snow storm and Oak Knoll was still at work during a white out to take care of all the fur babes who needed them! Super caring people! I highly recommend taking your fur kids there!

I find it difficult to find the words to describe this veterinary clinic. Here is my best try. The people, EVERY SINGLE ONE, are extremely professional, caring and friendly. The doctor herself, well there just aren't words besides we LOVE her! Our Nina really needed help and this amazing woman didn't hesitate to help her and continues to help her. There is a sign on the front desk there that says something like "a good vet talks to the animals, a great vet hears them back". (She definitely does.) I not only recommend her and her great staff, I beg every pet parent to take your beloved animals here, they couldn't be in better hands! Thank you to everyone at Oak Knoll veterinary clinic!

If my pups are happy and comfortable there, then I know its the place for us! Knowledgeable & caring staff who took the time to answer questions was huge! Plus the pups were able to be examined, received shots, & got their nails clipped while we stayed in the room.
