Nice people, insane prices. Do yourself a favor, go to New Carlisle Animal Clinic. They charged me $430 and new Carlisle animal clinic quoted me at $140. It use to be affordable, then they renovated the clinic, and you’re paying for it. It’s a longer wait for New Carlisle, but that’s because it’s way more reasonably priced and everyone in town knows it and goes there.

We called in with an emergency regarding our dog needing stitches, not only were the staff polite and helpful, but they got our pup in VERY quickly and she was home within a couple of hours! The price was very very reasonable for all of the care she had to have done. I would highly recommend if you want AWESOME care on a budget for your animal!

Dr. Baldwin is great! My 4#, 14+ year old pomeranian has been getting adjustments monthly for about 6 months and the difference is amazing. Now she'll go outside with me and walk around, even runs sometimes, something she hasn't done in over 4-5 years. She seems alot happier and alert, too. She's awake more of the time.On Monday, June 27th I called about my other dog Lucy Lue, who's not been seen by either vet. She had a problem with her left hind leg, wasn't putting any weight on it and it looked swollen and a little bloody. This started late Sunday, I thought I'd wait a bit, see what happened. But it looked worse on Monday afternoon, so I called the office. It was almost closing time, but the fantastic front desk person contacted Dr. Chapman about seeing Lucy Tuesday. I got a 2:30 pm appointment; I hadn't seen this vet before, but she was great. Took a very thorough history and exam and talked with my daughter and I about her foot. Turns out she tore a toenail almost off somehow. Dr. Chapman took Lucy, cleaned up her foot, and took the rest of the nail off. Gave us antibiotics for her, and also found a rather bad heart murmur during the exam. She answered all my questions about it too. And when we checked out, we were given a package of pill pockets free to help her take the antibiotics! I would certainly give these vets and their office people 5 stars, more if they were available. I have been taking my pets to New Prairie for over 5 years, and I could not be happier with the service I have received. You can tell that the staff and Doctor really care about your pet, and they are a pleasure to be around. I always feel welcomed, and they treat my pets with the greatest care and compassion. I can tell that they really love the animals that come to the clinic and are not just there for money. I have referred several clients to this clinic and have heard back that they are very pleased.

The staff at this location was not very hospitable. I took my dog in for a routine physical and it was almost eerie how unfriendly the staff was. My dog is very well cared for, so unsure of what the issue was. I will not be coming back.

I am sooooo glad we decided to make the drive from South Bend and take our dogs back out to New Prairie. I was so impressed with all of the staff and the new vet they have. Everyone there was very patient with both my pups and you can tell that they really care about your pet's well being.They are also the most reasonable vet I have ever been to when it comes to costs. My visit for 2 dogs to update their vaccinations and heartworm tests was cheaper than my coworker's in South Bend and she only had 1 dog! The visit charge alone was half the price of the vet we used briefly in South Bend.I cannot recommend New Prairie enough. They are one of the best vet clinics around! Well worth a 45 minute drive!!

They are very caring and compassionate! They helped so much when my parents dog was very ill and when I was trying to find out what was wrong with my dog, the were more focused on finding the truth rather than bringing my dog in several times to charge me over and over, they were more helpful over the phone than any of the vets I took my baby to see!!!

Very caring staff. I had to take a drop off cat in that became terminally ill. They were so kind and understanding to the fact that though she was a "drop off" cat, she was still family to us.
