So far, service has been good here for me. Haven't needed to go to the pharmacy at this location, so I'm not sure how the customer service is over there.The front store cashiers have been decent, though. If something ever changes, I'll update my review.

Always loved this store. Changed. Waited for prescription. for 3 days. they were out of it. Called several times. Not once was I told this or I would have transferred it. Also not good anymore on refill reminders . Also so second time lady today same one told me I could not use GoodRX would not make a difference. Checked before I left home and it was 30.00 cheaper. She said it would not make a difference. Well my other pharmacy checks. This is the second time she has said this. Need to train her again. All the others are way better. Good Rx when I called them said no reason it would not go through. She gets a F_. Also did not want to add an allegory for me. If she did not know what it was should have got help. Supposedly she finally did it.

Count your pain meds, for months I would run out early, would always have filled at 5 am before work.Would get to work and count them because they were in a smaller bottle.Always 40 pills missing, count your meds,

I’ve said it once & I’ll say it 100 times: Portage Walgreens pharmacy is the worst Walgreens pharmacy I’ve ever been to. If they somehow manage to have what you need in stock, the staff is RUDE for absolutely no reason. They also lack the common knowledge that it is in fact legal to fill a paper script from Illinois. Only here do I run into any issues after waiting 30 minutes in the drive thru lane. The one thing I will say about this pharmacy is that they are consistent.

I have never had so many issues at a pharmacy before. Longest wait times on the phone. The call center gives you the run around. The staff is rude. Prescription will be out of stock and when it’s in stock they don’t fill it automatically. You have to keep calling and get the run around.

The pharmacist didn’t have a drug needed right away. She went above and beyond to find a store that had the medication. Especially during a busy cold and flu season, and it’s rush hour. Kuddos to pharmacist Kristin!!!

I try to be as understanding as possible as I’ve always worked in customer service and also I’m aware there’s a huge shortage in workers.. but after a few times of dealing with this Walgreens I’m about fed up.Anytime a prescription is sent over from my doctor I never hear from them, so of course I call to check on it. There’s no prescription in my file, so I speak to a representative only to be told they never processed it in the first place. I’m sitting here in the phone confused if I’m supposed to call after it’s sent and confirm with them to proceed with processing it? The technician on the phone was 100% completely ignoring any question I had and all I was doing was trying to understand how to prevent this from happening because it’s been 3 days since it was sent and she tells me would you like us to fill it and it might be ready tomorrow or the next day?! It just doesn’t make any sense! Don’t expect to get your prescriptions actually filled or god forbid any help or a question answered even if it’s for 5 seconds. This is twice now.

The pharmacist Tim is a an absolute miracle worker, upon calling the store at almost midnight, I explained my situation to him, needing prescriptions changed from a store that was closed to his store he not only got the job done but made me feel as this was a matter of personal urgency for him.Way to take care of your patients. This isn't my normal store but it is now 5 stars for you guy's!

I would like to know what happened to Walgreens? They have signs up saying 30 minutes for refills prescriptions and the store on central in portage Indiana tells me 90 minutes every time. Also the one on willow creek and route 6 in portage Indiana says 1 hour. They used to honor the 30 minute signs ,not anymore. I asked the pharmacy clerk. If there has been staff changes and she said no that it’s always been 90 minutes and That is not true! On top of it all they definitely lost the great customer service they used to have.

Sara the manager is the rudest pharmacists i have ever dealt with. she refused to give me my prescriptions bc she claimed there was a delay in the system AFTER making me wait 2 hours when she kept saying it would be ready in “30 minutes”. i immediately called my doctor & switched to the other walgreens on 6 & they had my prescriptions ready within the hour. do not waste your time here.

My first time ordering curbside pickup in portage. The first order I made said it was an error but still took money out my account. The second one went through. And said my order was ready for pick up. Unfortunately, when I got there they had small signs on the door saying they were out of power. Even though the outside lights were on, inside lights were on, automatic doors were working, and phone line was still on. They advised me they couldn't give me my pickup order even though it was already payed for (in which they said they have to scan the items). But they could let in pharmacy people to get prescriptions (which also have to be scanned).

If I could give a negative star I would. I was at the pharmacy at witnessed one of the pharmacy employees, large , reddish hair woman, with a LARGE bun on her head(she acted like it was a crown) talk down so rudely to my daughter, then talked over her when she pleaded with her. My daughter's insurance would not cover her meds a Walgreens and the employee refused to let her explain I would pay the total cost, just so she could have meds literally an hour after being discharged from the hospital. Absolutely nasty attitude. Karma comes back hard and fast.

The pharmacy is super slow. Waited 2 hours then when I left I got a call saying the prescription was ready. They don’t communicate errors they just wait until you ask what’s going on. This was the worst experience EVER!!

Over fighting for my monthly prescription it’s monthly every month. Would not recommend unless you don’t want to get your prescription but with that being the low bar you can get the same job done by just asking your teller at the bank next time your in line you’ll get the same result and response “we don’t have your prescription here”

Went in on a Monday for a prescription refill. It wasn't ready told them okay I would be in tomorrow to pick it up. Went in the next day it wasn't ready. Came back Wednesday still not ready. I'm waiting thus time because I need the prescription my daughter runs out of her medicine tonight. It's pathetic that after 2 days the prescription still isn't ready. Use another pharmacy I'm switching now thus isn't isn't first time this has happened its like they don't bother to fill the prescriptions unless you are standing there watching them.

Longest wait times of any pharmacy in the area. They take 15 minutes per car and the line is always backed up. Also have had many issues with them not being able to find my insurance even if I seen a doctor that day.

Once again, I left the pharmacy without my prescription because of an error on their part. Dropped off 2, they filled one. This has happened several times where after waiting for 15 minutes in line I am told to come back in 15 minutes. Off course you come back 30 minutes later and there is a 50/50 chance they filled the prescription in that time. I keep coming back because of location and the hassle of changing to another pharmacy. Today was the last straw, I'll go through the hassle because if every 4th time I have a problem that requires me to come back later I'm better off drive 10 minutes down the road.

I just left here a few minutes ago and it will be the last time that I do business with this Walgreens location .. I went in here for a doordash pick up and asked the employee for help finding something ...She pointed down the isle and said that I'll find it down there .. I asked for she could help me to locate the item and she said no because I get paid to look for it not her ... So when I went to pay for the item and no one was at the register... I went and looked for someone and I came across her... I asked if she gets paid to ring me up and she said yes I do ..Lol SMH .. she handed me the bag and walked away... I said your welcome and I will contact your manager later ...she said I the manager.. well lady I'm going higher then you...lol ... Customer service at its best!!!

Pharmacy tech could not handle multiple task at the same time. Took very long to get a simple script. Please handle one customer at a time. There is a line for a reason.

Pharmacy on willowcreek and central is the worst. Every time I go I get told the SAME THING, "your script just came in, it'll be 45 minutes to an hour" and as soon as I get home 3 minutes later I get the call telling me its ready. Who wants to go back out when they're sick in the middle of winter? And if it literally just takes less than 5 minutes to fill why not have us wait? Going to try CVS because this literally happens EVERY TIME
