The Manager Bruce is a close family friend and he takes good care of his store and staff. There's a wide variety of items to choose from and prices are competitive. The cleanliness of the store is a 10! I recommend shopping there any season.

Staff were very helpful & attentive & friendly. Everyone I saw was busy doing something yet stopped to ask if I needed help then a smile then a HAVE A GOOD DAY! Great asset to our small community that has been here for over 30 years. Many Kroger items here. Friendly, helpful staff. Always clean. Very competitive prices and good sales every week. Love the coupon app to save even more. Small but very nice produce, deli, meat and fresh produce departments. You might not find unusual items you would find in a big city chain. But that's okay, Petersburg is not a big city. :)

I truly appreciate this store. It's located approximately 2 miles from me. They have great selections & great sale prices. The store is clean & employees are friendly & helpful. It amazes me each time I shop there, I come out with more items than I planned to purchase but the total amount is much less than what I was anticipating. Nothing against Walmart because I shop there, too, but it always seems I pay less at JayC for the grocery, paper needs, etc than I would pay other places. I am very pleased.

Never a complaint. Unlike jc Foods in Washington. Will drive 10 miles south for groceries...instead of 3 miles north. Meat and produce quality are major factors when I'm shopping for family. QUALITY FIRST! Besides, I love the small town atmosphere. Bruce and Lida are just a couple of examples, of the nice people going above and beyond to ensure a good shopping experience. Thank you.

Everyone was so helpful to me. The manager helped me put my groceries on the counter. The girl helped me out to the car. I appreciated the help since i don't get around too good now and I have a shoulder that I injured several months ago. Thank you! Sue

I usually love Jay C but every single time I go to the deli the worker Michelle acts like it’s gonna kill her to wait on you and god forbid you go in at 7-8 forget getting served. Other then the deli I love the store

If I could possibly take stars away from the Jay C store in Washington IN I would. They have a girl in the deli there who's hair is always hanging out of her hair net to her chin. And when ask to cut fresh meat . Instead of what was in the display case. Her response was I think this is fairly fresh. So no deli meat for me. This person should not be in customer service. Not a good place if you need something from the deli. Only gave the one star because it's the only way to post.

Satisfactory selection of basic foods for home. Nice meat selection, produce, dairy and shelf foods. Checkout can be slow on weekends. No self checkout. Generous seasonal plant selection

Why can't we get Fuel discounts in Pike Co Indiana !?!?!?In order to redeem Fuel points you must drive 100 mile round trip,has been like this pretty much for the 5 years I've lived in Petersburg !!!!

There were flies eveywhere. Some of the employees were kind of rude. The cashier's and baggers up front were having a conversation and not focusing on their customer service. They need to remember that we are the ones who provide their paycheck.

Cynthia help me pick out a great cake. She explained to me the different size cakes, the different icings, and took the time to explain to me how they decorate the cakes she was very helpful.

For a small town grocery store there is a wide variety of items. It's rare that I cannot find an item I'm needing to complete a recipe. The employees are very nice and helpful as well

3 pm and I asked for Broasted chicken...nope. They are out. So I asked for an 8 piece chicken dinner....no....they aren't making any more ....???? Why? It is about time for everyone to be getting off work .... Besides the fact the boy was rude, this is why I drive to Washington, Vincennes or Princeton.

I’m writing this only about the donuts I got up and told my girlfriend let’s go get some donuts so where did we go to jay c brought some cream filled and a dozen others got home got me one of those cream filled with a big glass of milk and started eating one bite two bite three bite no cream will heck let me show u it was amazing

Well it Rush eggs on the shelf and I had to crawl in there and get a thing of eggs for the customers they had Coke on sale but after I got my six they only had one bottle left
