Drove 40 mins cause I love the pick 5s found everything I was looking for but unfortunately the cashier I found rude only spoke to me with my total if your in customer service u treat every customer equally. I noticed while I was bagging my food she said hello to everyone else in line and sorry I took to long I bought 2 weeks of food I don’t understand how it held up people I thought that was rude as well. Also u have to pay for bags now if I wanted to pay for my bags I would go to Aldi’s anyway to nickel and dime a person

The prices are decent but every time I go there, all of the employees are standing outside the door smoking. The entire place literally reeks of cigarette smoke. Nobody wants to shop for food somewhere that smells like stale cigarette smoke. Gross.

There is not enough staff and lanes open. Prices on meat is the best just becareful of the dates as well as the color. Parking lot is usually busy but pretty clean as is the store.

Decent prices, nice people (definitely nicer than kroger folks anyway). The only issue I have is we bought spare ribs and more than half of them had huge thick straps of fat that should have been trimmed by the store.

Used to be great but new owner took over few months ago. Prices are now higher than Kroger. U understand food prices are up but when you are the bargain store and Kroger is cheaper, something is wrong.

In the past I’ve gotten groceries from Save A Lot, and the prices were good. There’s a problem though when your prices now are several dollars more than what Walmart is. $4.00 for a bag of halos their price, and yours is almost $7.00. Doesn’t make much sense

Really nice store. Everything was full and fresh. Everyone was busy stocking. Only complaint I had was cashier vented to me about the coworkers which I didn't need to know about.

Save-A-Lot here in town is always a good visit. Well they may not always carry exactly what you're looking for they do carry the essentials in a few unique items. Prices are very reasonable, the staff at this particular Save-A-Lot takes care of their customers. A very good thing in this day and age

Great prices on most products. However, freezer cases are often way too warm - as in, thawing. Many products exhibit evidence of refreezing(ice crystals). Meat cases have dried blood in them. Meats are not top-quality and cuts are limited. Guess that's the price we pay for getting lower prices?I do love that they have included brand names like Hellmann's and Campbell's - at good prices(Velveeta is an exception - much more expensive).I wish there was more attention throughout the day to keeping things cleaner, like the floors and shelves.Now, they no longer accept my Discover card, so I can't shop there anymore. I'll have to drive across town to Aldi. A cashier informed me that they have a new owner, and it was his decision. I hope they can stay in business, running many of us off, as I have heard from friends that they can't use their cards, either (such as Amex). Peru needs low-price operators; this isn't a wealthy town. Please change this back.

False advertising, saying they had "pork chops" on sale that were sale for $1.99/lb my girlfriend and I went to shop here, and they only had boneless pork. Not pork chops. Upon checkout, when we asked about it, cashier had an attitude while we were polite, then cashier proceeded to get obtuse with us saying that "if you know so much, get an application here". Throughout all this, the manager (Bryan) acted totally disinterested with our concerns and blew us off like we didn't exist. Absolutely horrible.

This store has been updated prices are mostly reasonable the sale items are usually great deals. They again carry coke products which they didnt for some time. The staff I find almost always friendly at check out. Please note this is a bag yourself store so it's helpful to bring your own bags.

Doing some rearranging in the store. Low stock on some items. Very few customers. If Peru wants to keep this store, they need support badly!Store is just kind of dirty. Found a couple of bargains, but prices aren't much better than Walmart or Krogers if you buy store brands.

U can save a lot by shopping at Save-Alot. We love grabbing condiments like ketchup, mayo, mustard, BBQ sauce and salad dressing. Just cause it's cheaper doesnt mean its not good. Place was clean and always enjoy the customer service. Smiles everywhere!

As I walked into this fine establishment today, I was in search if a cold beverage, and some snacky snacks.. it was rather busy but the 2 chasers did their best and knocked out the long line if customers. The one cashier, Danielle, is always soo pleasant. The other, Jessica, I've known from previous establishments... she's pretty nice as well. Shout out to the ladies working, yall are doing a good job. Thanks for the laughs!

Very middle of the road grocery store, still prefer Kroger in my town personally, but Save A Lot has been great about having things in stock when I have needed them.

As the name implies you will save a lot of time planning a long healthy active life by shopping here! With their rotting produce and money saving finds on strictly chemical filled products, there is guaranteed to be nothing here for someone who values their life, health or strength! Whether you desire past the sell by date items or just damaged goods you are going to save a lot of time and effort by going here instead of a place where you are going to find actual quality food! They offer no discount for funeral expenses but they'll help you get the quicker 😉

Good place to get majority of items for good prices. Not much selections for people who need sugar-free foods or non-grain pastas, but in majority, you can get basic choices.

It's my go to store . I like that they are small , easier to get in and out guckly. I actually like it better than ALDI . The store brands are better than Krogers generic in my opinion. Employees are helpful when u ask them.
