Stopped here for ice cream before a long trip home with a bunch of teenagers. They had so many options it took us a while to figure out what to get. The small size was a decent amount of ice cream! The dairy free teen loved that they had a good selection for them and said it was some of the best vegan ice cream they have had. The staff was so friendly. The place was clean and inviting. Picture is a small chocolate explosion Sunday. Wish I could get another one!Dietary restrictions: More vegan options than I have seen at other ice cream locations.Kid-friendliness: They are friendly and patient while kids order. Offered samples to the kids who had trouble deciding which flavors and gave a cup and spoon to the ones who ordered cones "just in case".

If you're in Brown County you have to stop into the Chocolate Moose! Their coffee is incredible and if you have dietary restrictions they have a good selection of vegan ice cream as well. Went there for a quick breakfast for the first time and it was delicious 😋

I really love the whole crew they have right now. The ice cream is always good and everyone is very helpful and friendly. The drink I order is a little specific and complex..... And Tyler and Raina have really gone above and beyond with perfecting it. It's absolutely the best coffee drink in the county and they even went as far as to colaborate to see if there was a way to make it better, and of course they killed it! Customer service and actual enjoyment they have from doing what they're doing Is outstanding. Thank you Tyler and Raina!!!! I absolutely adore you two. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

My wife ordered the soft serve twist cone and I ordered the turtle sundae! The sundae was great! It had a nice amount of Carmel and hot fudge and nuts!! We will definitely be back!! Thank you

I don't drink coffee, but my parents liked their coffee. The ice cream was good, but the hot chocolate was really watery. Do not get the hot chocolate unless you have your own packet to mix it in with the drink. Very sad about the hot chocolate, but good ice cream. Also my waffle cone on my ice cream was EXTREMLY stale.Parking: It has about 20-30 spots for parking.Kid-friendliness: They have a claw machine so you spend even more money on your child.Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair accessible buildings.

A wide variety of Sundaes available. And interesting homemade flavors of ice cream. We came out on Friday night and it was a little bit of a wait. But they have a really comfortable sitting area.

I could tell you about a thousand reasons that I love this place. But first these mini cones are amazing. They are the perfect price, under a dollar, perfect size for little ones, perfect size for eating right after dinner! The funny faces on them totally enthralled the kids, and they will even put your cone in a cup for tiny messy eaters! They were super friendly the girls that worked at the counter where helpful and patient with the kids. I am so glad that Brown County now has this Edition to their little Nashville downtown. It has definitely added to our trip this year. Best ice cream place in Nashville by far. I know there's a lot of other ones that are much older or have more history but this one is great. Huge area for seating indoor and outdoor soft serve and homemade ice cream, they really have it all. Keep up the good work :-)

I have to give this place 2 stars for bad business practices. The entrance heavily advertises credit card payment but there’s no sign saying that they CHARGE 3.95% CC fee. The cashier just asked me cash or card and I said card. The customer should be notified of extra charges

They advertise that they are open till 10 and there are clearly people still inside. We pulled up at 9:10 pm on our way through. Either sitting inside on their phone or just walking around. The only reason I give a 2 star is I have had their ice cream and it’s decent. Nothing to write home about but not bad either. Disappointed in the service however.

Our annual trip to Nashville wouldn’t be complete without a trip to The Chocolate Moose. Great ice cream, and great vegan options, too! I’m not vegan, but I AM lactose intolerant, so I appreciate that! This time, I got the vegan chocolate, and I was not disappointed!! Also, watched as someone made waffle cones by hand. Smelled SO good!!

The staff is amazing! Courteous, friendly, and nonstop busy. Not one employee is standing around. Worth a trip if you believe the younger generation is lazy, mostly younger staff and they will prove you wrong. I was in awe at how well they hustled while being overwhelmed by a never ending slew of customers. Ice cream was great as well. We will continue to enjoy our ice cream at The Chocolate Moose.

Latest review through drive thru:They don't tell you until after you place your order that you will pay over 3% more for your order using a credit card.My husband loves his lemon custard ice cream. It's a must stop every time we pass through Brown County.

Nice shop serving very good ice cream. I enjoyed a scoop of cinnamon ice cream in a cup. You can also have your ice cream served on a cone, combined with a shake or blended with one of our various stir-ins. They make all of their fresh ice cream on-site to guarantee that you always receive the greatest ice cream available. If ice cream is not what you want, try their ham and cheese or barbecue sandwiches that are created crafted with premium meats from Butcher's Block, or a Coney Dog, vegetarian burgers, hot dogs, and the renowned Spanish Burger.

My wife and I really enjoy the drive to Brown County from Indy, sometimes just to grab lunch and a treat at the Chocolate Moose. They have a nice lunch menu, and some great ice cream! I usually get the twist, with some Heath bar crumbles on it. Well worth the trip!

Awesome place for ice cream, coffee, and quick food. My wife and I stopped here on our way out of town for coffee. They have good seating inside and tables outside. We will definitely be back there again. Friendly and quick working staff.

Best stop in Brown county EVERY year! The most delicious ice cream that I have ever had. And their hot sandwiches are outstanding. Try the BLT on a croissant you will not regret it!

Definitely worth driving to Nashville, and I love on Bloomington where they opened a second location. Problem with the Bloomington location is that it is filled with teenage girls that are there to socialize and goof off, giving terrible customer service. We come here because it's great ice cream plus the positive experience from the staff.
