I can not recommend The Door Store enough. The team is so knowledgeable of their products that it made us very secure in our purchase, and their installation team was even better. We almost made a huge mistake when we were originally going to purchase from another company. Thank goodness we did not. Our door took awhile to come in, but we knew in advance that would happen and we were perfectly fine with that. Our new door has added great club appeal and has upgraded the value if our home. It has taken us time to get used to the amazing difference. As in the pictures, you can see the before and after.We will be purchasing from only them from now on.

We had a front door with one side panel installed. The work was performed in a very professional manner. It was very cold out, and the installers did a great job getting the door installed as quickly as possible. They were very polite, friendly and answered any questions we had. The only thing I wasn't happy with was them setting some of there material on our hall bench, without covering the top of the bench first. Other than that, we were very happy with the door & the installation. The door looks absolutely beautiful.

I'm a very dissatisfied potential customer. I called yesterday morning to set up an appointment for someone to come out and give us a price on 4 windows and siding. The women on the phone asked if yesterday, Sat 8/27/22 would work for us. I said yes and was excited they made the appointment for the same day. Unfortunately they wasted my Saturday afternoon because they didn't show up. How very unprofessional! If they don't call or show up for appointments they've made, I can't imagine how unprofessional there work is! A phone call would've been nice saying they couldn't come. Thank you to The Door Store for waisting my day off of work for nothing!

The Door Store was recommended to me by a coworker, my review is based on my initial experience. The location, on Ridge Road has behind the store parking, with a customer entrance in both the front and the rear. I think Barb was the name of the woman who greeted me when I walked in, she was also the person who helped me with my quote. I described what I was looking for and she took me to a door they had in the store that was exactly what I wanted. She was able to fit me in within a week for measurements at my residence. Will update after appointment, and again after install.

They have beautiful solid quality doors and I believe the installers would be perfect. I couldn't order from them because the gentleman said they hope to get all parts they need is 16 weeks behind and they had 2 large order piles of people waiting for installation. Same story as other places, not enough parts to make doors..He did not say where they are coming from, I bet they are stuck at the shipping ports. I blame Biden not the company. They were busy when previous administration was in.This was Oct.2021

The entire staff at the door store is nothing but helpful and professional. The number of years and expertise they have especially in the Northwest Indiana area is incredible. Lamar and Larry are both amazing installers and Mason workers. they can handle any project from installing a simple sliding door in my kitchen to now taking on a full on walkout basement sliding door project cutting into my foundation wall. I have spent over $15,000 with them. Between 2 siding doors, a new front door, storm door, and windows.. wouldn't have spent that money anywhere else To get the level of expertise we have. So happy with everything, thank you Door Store!

I had my awesome entry door/ full sidelight installed in December 2018. So 6 months later everything is still perfect, looks great , no leaks. The staff is nice and courteous. I had a very minor problem with the door knob and it was replaced fast with a new one no problems. I went with a Provia door. It just looks and feels better. Heavy, solid and sturdy like a bank vault. I would definitely recommend this local business to anyone.

Would definitely recommend The Door Store in Munster! Wonderful experience from start to finish! Amy was very helpful in making sure we got what we wanted as well as making sure we got the door that was right for us! Bob was wonderful installing our door and made sure to show us every step of the way!Very happy in how great our house looks now!

Just had my front exterior doors replaced this past weekend and they look AMAZING!!! Amy was extremely helpful and Bob did a great job installing. Would highly recommend!!! Wish I could upload a picture showing how nice it looks! Thanks again guys!

The customer service representative who claimed she was management, needs a proper etiquette training. I wanted to stay local and support this local business however, she was rude & hung up on me because they where running late for the measurement appointment and I let her know I have yo pick up my autistic son at 3 pm. I was in customer service for 26 years myself. It’s heartbreaking that they have to hire unkind people like this lady because quality is not available.

I purchased 2 screen doors from this company and with installation paid almost $2,000. I told the man installing them that it wasn't latching every time it closed but he said that was normal. 2 years later after normal use my door will not close on its own. We have to pull with a lot of force in order for it to close all the way. I called to tell them that their product has failed and they want to charge me for someone to come look at it. Why should I pay you even more money when it is your product that has failed

If your in the market for doors this is the place I'm glad I came in to the store from the moment I entered all of my questions and concerns were addressed I ended up choosing a laser cut security door that I couldn't be more happy with and the guys doing the installation couldn't be more professional they went above and beyond and cleaned up everything they left behind even putting my door mats back in place and making sure the door was cleaned! They have earned a customer for life thanks to the team over at the door store !!!!!!!

The nicest people ever! Very friendly and patient. They had all the answers to our questions and gave us lots of great suggestions. When the gentleman came out to measure the doors he even went out of his way to measure a wall and my couch for me. I would recommend them to anyone shopping for doors.Thanks for the great service!

I had an older guy with white hair in a red van w this logo on it who road raged against me. I prevented him from cutting me off (putting me in danger) and he went on a rampage. At the light he got out of his car and come to my car yelling, shouting, and threatening me. He pounded on my window. I was horrified and felt like my life could have been in danger. Thankfully he walked away when he thought I had a gun (it was pepper spray). After this incident I am absolutely buying a gun in case something like this ever happens to me again. I created an alias account to write this review because I terrified of what he might do if he knew who I was. I even wait a few months to post this review so he wouldn't remember what I looked like or anything about my car.I know this is not about the company's work- but this is the type of person they have working there. If the guy in the junker red van comes- get away from him for your own safety.There is only one door store in Munster, Indiana unless they are not registered on google. The sign on his door clearly said Munster, Indiana. If anyone can find another Door Store in that city I will gladly delete my review.

Staff at the store made a mistake with our order, mistake was not realized until installation. Staff were uncooperative and did not have any desire to help us fix the problem. They would not take responsibility for their actions. They must not be interested in happy, repeat customers, considering the way they treated us. Overall very disappointing experience.
