This place is a dumpster dive in a good way. You may get something nice or a big box with a small handful of Chinese dandruff shampoo samples like I did. It was a fun experience though.

It was interesting. Bins are filled with return goods people decided against. The manufacturer doesn't want it back so it's left up to Amazon, or other stores, to decide what to do. The obvious choice is to see if there is money that can be made. From locals who were there with me the word is be there opening minute on Friday. This is where you get electronics and other sweet items for only $5.00. I went on a Thursday and even though I did find a couple items I could tell the good stuff was gone. For my lady followers this will be a fun shopping/scavenger hunt. Have fun!! For my male followers there are tools and other items we as men find useful. Happy hunting!!

This store sells Amazon, FedEx, UPS, etc... returns. They restock the whole store on Thursdays when they aren't open. On Fridays and Saturdays everything in the store is $5. And by Wednesday the price works itself all the way down to 25¢ for each item!! What a steal!! I would say most of the stuff is junk. But... Not everything is!! I found a few items that were worth more than $10 and one that was worth almost $60!! I will most likely come back, maybe on a Wednesday, so I can spend money on stuff I definitely don't need, because it's only 25¢. 10/10 I would definitely recommend!!

I go here pretty regularly every few months but lately it seems like they don't have a good selection many of the things are the same items.Also few damaged items more than normal. Overall I'll still keep going cause I have found really neat things.

Shame on you for falsely accusing someone! Do better ! But never again will I ever go into this place ! My daughter n law wouldn’t take things that are not hers ! Knowing the facts is very important and fact remains you called out the wrong person ! Which I can understand but to not listen to them is very dishonest on your part ! Do better !

Wow went in the black friday store yesterday didnt even make it past the registers before i was run out by the southport Renta cop for mis identification. She stated that she trespassed me over the summer. She had the wrong person asked for the photo that she stated she had in the back. She couldn't or wouldn't show the photo she has. Tried to talk to the owner about the situation and was blocked on Facebook. Good to know they have incompetent people working their store. Then post the photo of me stealing. I give permission because it wasnt me.I've already called the better business bureau.

Why do people complain about getting car parts? Not only is it fun opening these random packages, but this door actuator is worth $150 and I could resell it for $100 no problem given some time. Same with the genuine Toyota O2 sensor I got, $60 on eBay EASY because people are always buying O2 sensors. Plus I got hundreds of dollars worth of tattoo gear. I don't know what I'm going to do with these inks and tattoo guns and 5 eyebrow tattoo machines, but it's like opening Christmas presents. I didn't come with the intent to resell, just open random boxes for fun, but I can totally flip this stuff for a solid profit. I did get one bad package where somebody bought fuel injectors then returned their old ones. If you can afford a Corvette why are you stealing fuel injectors?

If you like mysteries you'll love this place. Just be a smart shopper and don't open the packages it's tacky and posted. There are a few non English speaking individuals that seem to think rules are not for them. These products are returned from major companies. Each day prices change, but orange tapes are always 25.00.

Definitely not as it once was. Go in and found some items that had tape on boxes or bags. Unaware that those items are priced differently . Almost like as if u buying from dept store, not returned items. Sad. I'll stick to their auction items. Then their food items 5.00 a box or can. Yeah Thursday. 50 day would be cool. But they need priced lower all the time. So people that shop weekends would be able to get things also.

No longer how it used to be. You used to be able to find decent stuff for cheap. Now, it is all items you can find at the dollar store (literally will still have the $1 stickers) and sell them for the $3 and $5 days. Anything else is trash that they didn't want to sell at their auctions.It is sad that they decided to ruin the fun by taking out all the valuable items and keeping it for themselves or their auctions. And it is also frustrating they are selling dog/cat food for more than at the big box stores. Also, all the furniture is now different prices and are usually broken.Please get rid of the auctions and bring back the old Black Friday store.

It's good. I just would stay away from the mystery boxes. The mystery is they don't pay for a garbage service and instead sell it for $10. I got the packaging things came in. Most everything was ripped open and empty.

We enjoy going to the Black Friday Store. It has some quirks (like other similar stores), but we keep going back. The staff are always friendly and my kids even look forward to seeing one of the cashiers because she is so kind to them. We have been going since the store opened and typically go 2-3 times per month. Just read the posted rules, price of the day, and enjoy.

I will never go here again!!!! This place is horrible. Almost everything was broken or tore up. They do not have the things they advertised. People are allowed to grab multiple of the same thing so if there was anything good someone had 10 of them. Worst experience ever. Management did not know what they were doing.

This store was awful. Their customer service sucks. I was unaware of their no package opening rule. My Linda was trying to open a package labeled Red Dragon to make sure it was appropriate for my little brother. We were immediately asked to leave by a young employee, not even the manager who sent him. She just sat at the counter and stared. Also 5 bucks for a made-in-china reject (which we didn't know what it was) is not worth the rude service we received.

Updated review 2022-I gave this store a second chance, by using their auction concept.I spent $700 total, on 3 different occasions. EVERYTHING, and I want to emphasize that **EVERY THING** was literally trash, missing pieces, or broken. They mark their items as "appears new", however they take pictures of the items good sides, and not the broken/missing sides.For reference- I bought a mirror. They lifted the mirror out of the box, took a picture of the back side (that's painted gray) and said appears new. However the other side was completely destroyed. They seen that, and chose to take a picture of the back, and mark it as appears new.This place is a scam, and they will sell you literal trash, and your stuck with hauling it off. Please do NOT spend a dime here.Old review-Super awesome concept- however it is almost literal trash inside ALL the "mystery" boxes we bought. Out of 14 different unmarked boxes it all went in the trash. We went on a Saturday ($5 day so the most expensive day, I'm assuming since they sell the same stuff all week so by the end of the week it would all be picked through).The stuff is so useless you can't even donate it to goodwill. I recommend if you go here- do NOT buy the unmarked boxes. It's not something "cool"- but something so useless the manufacturer didn't even want back.I will say, the staff was friendly, and it was kinda fun, but in the end not worth it to us. I'd say only buy things that you can clearly tell what it is and you want it.

Customers are key in any business because without them no sales. The workforce either directly or indirectly will determine the continuous existence, profitability and growth of the business. The police officer attached to the store is gradually destroying the business and the management is not paying attention. We don’t need mean people around here. She picks on people with different skin color from her, because I was sorting items which I didn’t know was not allowed and stopped when she pointed the notice, she still went ahead take the cart I had been picking for more than one hour. It was a nasty experience. She was so rude, I went into Mooresville police station to report her unfortunately she wasn’t attached to the station. Dear management we need team of staff with excellent customer service and pay attention to whoever is responding to reviews. Thank you.

UPDATE 2023: I miss the good old days and you can go to the Black Friday store and find decent items. that was years ago. Now they cherry pick and get the good items and put it on their auction. Okay I get that. But now they cherry pick whatever's left in the bins and Rebox it and raise the price. It's too bad that the greed has killed this store.First review: This place was great a year ago... unfortunately it's gone down hill. The value of the items has drastically reduced and now they raised the prices. Save your money and don't waste your time.

I hate to write non positive reviews on any place, but this place while having helpful capable workers, I fail to see how they stay in business. The building is just fill of steel baskets, packed with stuff, mostly in plain boxes or plastic bags, with nothing to tell you what is in them. On top of that you are forbidden to open them to see what is in side. They are always full of customers, but for the life of me I don't know why.

The staff was very friendly and the police officer on duty was friendly and helpful as well.We got 27 items and not one of them was worth less than double what we paid for. Things CAN be broken when you get home, so just use your head and don't gamble on something if it sounds like a bag full of glass.It does get very busy and not everybody was raised with the same manners, so just be aware of the people around you and you'll be good!They enforce their rules, so just keep that in mind, unlike the other reviewers that seemed shocked their actions actually had consequences.

The store itself is fun and you never know what you find. Either a treasure or something funny.The security guard on the other hand was extremely rude. I went with my mother and we were talking about the things we had found and just showing each other and the guard came over and told us we had to stop and explain why. Ok fair enough. We both said ok and then she kept going on and on about the rules. I said ok again and told her we understand and then she got an attitude and told me to watch how I speak to her. Excuse me ma'am but you just told me I wasn't allowed to speak to my mother. Look at items in my own cart and then kept following us around the store.... Probably won't go back for that reason. We drove over an hour to have a girls day only to harassed by the security guard.

It's crazy bin shopping with competitors. I love the prices and random things I find. Can become very tight to move around claustrophobic even. Just follow the rules and you'll be fine 🙂

Today I had a problem in this store, from a police officer, I was looking at some shoes, she approached me and told me that I had opened them and I never opened the shoes, she acted so racist, and he took me outside the establishment without me being able to explain anything, I have always gone to the store, but I will return and I will complain, how horrible they treat their customers, No to Racism*

First time at this store. Will not be back. Started to open the package, did not get the box open but was told to leave the store. I was not aware that the boxes could not be opened. They did even warn us just told us to leave. Sad part is that the manager had a very young employee ask us to leave, she would not even speak to us herself. We quietly left and left the other packages that we were going to purchase.

We went on $2 day. The rules are quite simple - "Don't open anything." I expect that the workers there will politely "remind" you not to open anything HOWEVER, my 11 year old son saw a glasses case that he liked that was unbuttoned. He observed it for about 10 seconds before a very rude worker told him not to open things. (First off, you come to ME, not my child, if you have a problem.) He hadn't opened anything. That is a rule we discussed before even entering and we come often. We explained to her that it was already open and he had just picked it up. She walked around and said, "let me see it", snatched it from him, taped it up and threw it into her cart. Now, if he had opened it, I could understand her commenting to me. I nearly left a cart full of stuff and walked out. For that worker, 1. Don't speak to people like that. You'll not go far. 2. Don't ever speak to my son like that again.
