I had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE at this antique mall. I picked up avintage splint woven basket (vendor "Sue", $50.00 item) and while shopping the many nice booths, the basket handle simply snapped off. Upon closer examination, the basket handle had been repaired with a (too) short nail holding the handle in place. I took the basket to the front desk to inform them of the mishap, only to be told that I HAD TO PAY FOR IT! I asked the desk staff if the vendor would be willing to repair it--and was told "she just brought it in to sell." WHATTTTT???? Now, I could have just left the broken basket somewhere in the mall without informing anyone. There is no sign anywhere indicating the typical, "You break, You Buy", which wasn't the case anyway. I shop antique shoppes across the states in the Midwest and I was angry and sorely disappointed that doing the "right thing" actually cost me. I honestly feel, the staff didn't know how to handle this situation and jumped to "pay for it lady". In my expeirence, the correct staff response should have been: "So sorry, accidents happen, let me call the vendor to determine how thay wish me hanfdle this for you"--maybe a repair, a discount, or some other remedy.Most antique malls do this already. Instead, the mall now has one upset, ticked-off, feeling-cheated customer who will tell all her antinquing friends about her experience at Countryside Antiques.

Shame I was short on time - and that I was traveling thru the area on my way home to NY cuz this place is awesome! So many things to look at! Some of the items seemed a bit pricey but they were also nice, high quality vintage items. I found a neat Ohio matchbox & couldn't buy it because as I walked around I guess the tag fell off - they have a policy that unprecedented items won't be sold. I also found a cool, aqua very vintage bottle from Lockport, NY not too far from where I live. Overall, if you like antique malls and you're in the area I'd recommend stopping!

A lot of really cool things! A lot larger than the outside appears to be. Fun place to go antiquing. Only unfortunate thing is there is no bartering for pricing everything and a set price, which changes the experience of antiquing a little. Very nice people though!

Absolutely love this place! My husband and I stopped in to look around Definitely a place you can loose track of time looking at all the amazing things they have. We thought we were there a half hour ended up being 2 hours. If you haven't been there you must check it out..

I do usually love to go to this place. I drove all the way from Fort Wayne, rushing to get there before they close. I called in advance letting them know that I'm pretty certain that I know where the item is that I want but that I was cutting it close to closing time. She made it clear that she did not want me to come that close to closing time. I wasn't going to be long and I was just trying to buy a friend a present. Thanks a lot for the waste of gas....and the empty promise to a friend.

LOVE IT!! Its huge! Its clean. It has everything you can think of. My only bad experience here was that I found multiples of the exact same thing, in the exact condition and they had multiple prices on them and they wouldn't give them to me for the same price each. But thats it. I will still go back.

Extremely large building! Give yourself time to make it all the way through. Large variety of antiques/vintage and farmhouse (newer) styled selections.The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There is also a bathroom which is amazing since it takes a while to look around.

We have visited before, a nice little antique store with a variety of merchandise large and small. Can easily browse the entire store in about an hour. Good place for a rest stop while tra sling along route 30.

Very friendly staff, but prices are quite inflated.UPDATE. prices have increased, they literally have cracked and broken records for sale @ 20-50$. Try again next year I suppose.

Okay, it could be a 5 star place, but we stop every trip because my wife finds the best bargains. The last time, we had to plan a special return with a larger vehicle as the outdoor displays are all bigger items, wooden wheels, older farm things. I've learned to take a book, as it'll be at least an hour stop each time. I'm not really the best to review, as I would stop for me, but shopper and bargain hunters, this is worth the stop, I'm told.

Great selection of antique's! Strongly recommend people visit this store and relive the past just as I did. I saw many items that were common to see during my youth. Items I regret not saving. It was a great day! And good time reliving the past.

It's a fun place where you can spend some time. We go on a regular basis since the inventory is always changing. Bought a painted side table today for $20!
