I went out to do her job for her and when I came back 10 seconds later she was ringing someone else up already. So I left without making a purchase.

Never shop from ACE Hardware store..beware of your purchase item, ACE return policy is so bad, they don't take anything back even the website and receipt says 30 days. Each store has on policy. I am stuck with a $170 water heat Gas valve that never used and same box, the store manger is very rude, unfriendly and customer service very bad.

On 1/21I called ahead of time. The lady who answered the phone was polite and friendly. She was able to answer my questions over the phone. So I went to the store to have my key cut. Very respectful and polite. The key cut was very reasonable pricing! I would go back here anytime to have a key cut!!! Thanks for the great service

It used to be a good place, the personal attention was the difference between ace and Menards, now if you walking in looking for a bolt, they say aisle 10!!!! and read all the boxes!!!! when even they that work there have a hard time locating some things. NO WONDER WHY BIGGER STORES ARE TAKING OVER LOCALLY OWNED ONES, IS THE SAME THING NOW!!!

I spent an entire day trying to get a U-Haul at different locations using the app. They got me in and out here. The two staff I was working with were super funny! They kept me from having a completely ruined day. They also backed me up when my fiance didn't believe that I had been trying to get a U-Haul for hours with no luck explaining to her it's a common issue with the U-Haul app.

This place is not that bad. I only had one major bad experience with this store and that was when I purchased a firearm there and left it in the owner's care until I received my gun license. Well a couple months passed and when I went to retrieve my already purchased weapon, the owner act like he didn't know ANYTHING about me leaving it there because I had misplaced my receipt. Even after going into the system and finding my purchase, he still act as if he didn't know me or my wife and he's known us for YEARS! So needless to say I won't be purchasing anymore more guns from this facility..

These guys are super helpful. If you need a uhaul they go out of their way to make sure you get what you need. All employees are super cooperative and more then willing to make sure you get whatever you came to get.

Shop is dingy, dusty, and cramped, and the customer service was a joke. The cashier was a 20-something girl who was more interested in playing on her phone and joking across the store with coworkers than assisting me. The POS system gets stuck with every rewards transaction and "nobody knows if it went through" per the cashier. I came here to save time on my route but I will go out of my way to go to the Hobart location from now on.

I'm extremely disappointed with the two lies we just went through. I called about a capacitor and spoke with customer service. He told me the price and it was non refundable and he had it. I told him we would be cutting close which we were but the young man at the door told me they didn't have a capacitor and the registers were closed as two people were walking out a locked door that was locked before seven.We had a few minutes to spare but he still wouldn't let us in to buy a part that was waiting on us. Lied to twice and door locked before seven. Will never go back thats forsure.

This is a good Ace Hardware. The workers are usually very helpful and friendly.It's a good place to come to if you need a quick tool or part and don't feel like driving all the way to a Menards or Home Depot. Plus, you can buy bolts and screws in small quantities without having to buy a pack of 25 or 50.

I dropped off two chainsaw chains to be sharpened after they told me they sharpen them for $8 each. THREE WEEKS LATER, I hadn't heard from them so I stopped in to pick them up, sharpened or not. The guy was working on them and said they would be ready tomorrow. When I said I just wanted them back, he said it was two less chains he had to sharpen. It seems like these guys are on the ball when they want to be. WHEN they want to be. They probably shouldn't offer a service if the customer is not aware of a lengthy turn around time. Because all it does is alienate their customer base into quietly taking their business elsewhere.

The customer service is nice and friendly however it gets annoying at a certain point when they continue to follow you around asking if they can help you. I would like to pick up a package and read it or just simply browse the store trying to recall the items on my list that I left at home.Yes its definitely a good thing to have great customer service but not to have the feeling that they think your gonna steal something.

Terrible customer service from a lady who is the cashier. A lady who looks like us having a very bad day. She is very overweight and rude. I went to get some keys and she had an attitude and even rolled her eyes on me when I was deciding which key style to get. Then another day, she answered the phone stating the store was closed even when it was like 2 min before closing time. I even called in advance to let them know I was on my way. It is very sad they offer rude customer service! 2 thumbs down to the rudest fat cashier ever...

THE BEST hometown hardware store by far!!! The staff is very knowledgeable extremely helpful, and some the best good hearted people I've come across. I look forward when I have to go to the hardware store. Not to mention very funny as well. Been using this particular store for over 20yrs now. Very blessed to have such a GREAT hardware store so close to home.
