Great selection on items but compared to larger stores. The pricing is a little higher but worth it if it’s the only option close also, it’s important to know that the ace and Knox does not accept returns from the ace in North Judson. They’re owned by different private individuals, so that’s somewhat inconvenient as well, but very clean store they give popcorn away, which is always nice and the workers seem very nice professional, and overall pleasant experience.

Always helpful employees. I had a sink install to do but the drain line was not correct. Thought I had what I needed but just to be sure asked someone. Found out they saved me from another trip. I did not have the right stuff. It is nice to have employees that actually know plumbing needs.

I really liked this ace hardware. The stock was great, well managed and super clean. It's definitely an old school hardware store that a city guy like me can appreciate for being very Indiana. That may not make sense to everyone, but I got a serious country vibe here without being out if touch. I only went in for a broom, a bucket, some gloves and garbage bags, but the place had some cool thing ms to look at. If I lived here, I would probably come back every weekend. The staff was friendly, and, for being so small, it had a lot! I loved the birdhouses in the front... Made me miss my childhood.

It's your typical ace hardware store, good selection of items and sometimes the only place to find something that no one else has, however be advised you'll pay a premium price for it too. The employees our extremely helpful however they may not be very knowledgeable due to their age. But all in all it's an o k place

Terrible with UPS packages. Couldnt find it and confirm it when I called, even though I had the tracking number and the name of person who received it inside the store. But when I show up, oh! There it is! on a bottom shelf cuz Kate just randomly put it there and didn't do her job and no one knew about it the 3 times I called to ask over the course of 4 hours. Thank you Kate for letting my deceased dog's cremations sit in limbo while I cried in confusion.

Great customer service. I went there the other day to get keys made, the young man working deserves a raise. The Lady at the register was super nice too...and to top it off..all the keys worked!

Made a special trip to get a small box of concrete nails from this chain specifically because I shopped them all the time in different areas so I thought what could possibly go wrong. I gave the cashier $21 expecting $10 and some change but they didn't pay attention to what they put in the drawer tried to give me 30 some odd cents back instead without the $10 bill I had coming as well. They conveniently misplaced the cameras so there was no way of telling until supposedly the drawer is counted tomorrow which no business runs that way. Do not go to this store if you are looking for competency or honesty! Long story short they had no way of knowing what was true so of course I got shafted $10 which was already high price for 40 concrete nails two and a half inches long!

was told one thing about return policy when purchasing a couple items . when i came back was told the item had to be in new condition and cant return or even exchange for something else. probably not coming back here because the manager wants to be hardcore about thier return policy with no exception for customer service. should have gone to walmart across north the street for said items.

I came in this past weekend. Saturday, The entire staff was so busy but all I can say is that they addressed my issues, questions ASAP! East side Kabelins staff was so great!
