Most staff is friendly. Store is always very clean. Fresh selection of meat.Getting blasted with constant LOUD Christian music, however, is distracting at best, hellaanoying at the worst, and a legit deterrent to shopping here. :/And yes, I am a Christian.2024 update: SAME^^^^^^ 😞

I absolutely love this store. They have some of the best meat prices I've seen. Not a fan of some of the store brand items, but they also carry name brand versions of the same thing. Good variety of items, and the staff is always helpful and pleasant. I will be a regular customer from now on.

Best female manager. Kind, helpful, considerate. It was around 2018 or so that she went out of her way to get me into my car I was locked out of. I was in my late 60s and my keys fell into the trunk while putting my groceries in. She just got off work but stayed and got help to unlock it but when no one could unlocked it. She called a lock smith to come try and gave me money to pay for it. It was Christmas Eve evening. Because of her I was able to get in my car and go home . Still miles away from m my home in Rensselaer.

The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. I wish they carried more variety but given the area they are a good place to shop when you need to pick up just a few items.

Quick and easy. They may not have the brands you are used to In a big store (it's more like an Aldi) but the food is good for one exception. The BEEF. It's all spoiled or going to be unless it's cooked that day every time I go.

Say what you want about Save-A-Lot but I love this place. Yeah....it’s not Meijer, but you’ll be in , out, and home by the time you navigate through Meijer. Living in Kouts, it’s handy to have a store like this available. Do I want to drive 20 minutes for eggs? Nope.

I've never visited a Save A Lot before, so I had no idea what to expect. Well it was just the basics except for NO Coke products. What kind of grocery store does not carry Coca-Cola products? They carried Pepsi. Anyway, many house brands that suffice.

I really appreciate having a grocery store in kouts that has a wide variety of options. The staff at this store are fantastic. My only wish is that they would have a greater variety of spices.

Good store for the money. Lots of off brands but good quality. A lot of the beef is imported from mexico so I'm a little leery about it.

No carts inside the store, had to go back outside to get one, wouldn't of been so bad if I hadn't just came Lake Shore Bone & Joint & needs knee replacements bone to bone both knees & alot of arthritis.
