Great for a quick trip for a forgotten item or two. Usually friendly staff but always always a huge mess! Not staffs fault I believe they do their best. The building is the problem its at least 40 years and the dollar General company refuses apparently to remodel and upgrade. Its really too bad because they are losing business to a new Dollar General 3 miles away.

Needed to use the bathroom when I walked in. Was told the men's room was a mess. And that someone was in the ladies'. Shopped around in total discomfort. Bought about 6 items for around $40. When we went to check out, the same lady that had described the restroom situation earlier, was the one checking us out. She asked if we found everything we needed. I replied it would have been better if U had access to the restroom. She said the women's room was open now. My wife asked if I wanted to continue to shop now that I was going to be able to use the restroom. I said no let's go. Would have probably spent more money if I hadn't been such discomfort. Made two more visits to this store over the next two days for ice cream and treats for my grandchildren.

Very nice and clean, very good at keeping everything stocked. Most of staff are great as well. Parking lot and spaces are a little bit difficult for maneuvering and seeing traffic on street. Overall a great location, only issue is the parking lot.

This dollar general has a rude a.. dirty looking male cashier who is not friendly at all. Who wiill lay your money on the counter instead of putting it in your hand. And who clearly has a problem with people of color. He happens to be on the lower class of things not well rounded and does not understand diversity makes this world a beautiful place. But being rude to people can lose the INGALLS Dollar general owner alot of buisness. One other thing dont judge a book by its cover. Because i make well over 50,000 a year and i dont need your fake floor walker shoppers following me around the store acting as if their buying something. And all the time the other ones are the ones doing the picking up things. The world is much bigger than Ingalls indiana expand your employees minds. Please and thankyou!

Worst customer service Ever. Bridgett was my cashier tonight and had no clue what she was doing. She did not use my coupon (which, if everyone knows the DG coupons, they are dated a specific date and only on Saturday's), so after my transaction was complete, she then refused to put the coupon towards my purchase and give me that amount back. I asked to speak to her manager, and not only did it take 10 minutes for him to walk to the front of the store, he was just as rude and inexperienced. He flat out said, No, we cannot use your coupon (mind you...even though I had given my coupon and Bridgett simply didn't scan) I then asked to return the items I had bought and I would go to another store. The manager said, no, we cannot return them. Flat out, No, I will not return your items, and walked to the back of the store. The cashier at this point acted as if I had disappeared. Started ringing the customer behind me up...while my bags were still in the turn around rack. After she rang up the 2 customers behind me, I asked her again to please just give me the money back for the items I just purchased. I stated, I have my receipt, have not touched my items, I would like to get my money back for those items. She grabbed her hair and said to me, what don't you understand? I can't return your items! I asked why, and she said frantically *Because I can't!I have never seen such complete ignorance. I asked her to please call management...and she refused, again ringing up other customers as if I wasn't even standing in front of her.I then grabbed my bags and walked out. Customer service is only open Monday through Friday, so...I'll have to wait until Monday to deal with this issue that could've been resolved very quickly, had the "2"(so called)employees at this store actually knew what they were doing.

Great service with a hard-working young guy at the register. Customers were complimenting this kid, and I did as well. He was going above and beyond, as they appeared to be understaffed. Shelves were well stocked. Will go to this DG again.

The staff here have little to no care for the customers, find it nescessary to yell across the store for how they can't wait any longer for their smoke break while helping customers, and don't even know the own product they carry to direct customers in the right direction. The only positive thing about this store is how big it is and carries more items than its sister locations.

Place is not okay when it comes to EBT or TANF use to be able to withdraw cash from the card. Can't do that anymore. They couldn't even put money back on my card or give me cash. So I had to keep exactly 10 worth of stuff that I was going to buy. Absolutely unacceptable.

Great employees. Back stock is normally stacked up in the aisles..making it difficult to find merchandise but they normally only have 1 or 2 employees making it difficult for them to get away from the registers.

Store is a disaster. Floors were filthy. Shelves were bare. Two associates chit-chatting as there was one cashier helping a long line. Typical of this location.

Best location I've been to, and I'm a dollar general hard core fan!! Clean, organized, friendly and helpful staff! Love it!! I've been to many DG stores and Ingalls is my favorite!

Love this store, but the sidewalk that leads to the other small parking area needs to be slated. Also the store was pretty cluttered and messy. Need to get that back under control.

Boi.. you know what time it is. Its dollar general. You always gonna have a chance of getting shot up, mopped up, cut up....I dread opening the door to the place. It feels a lot like prison when I enter. Same anxiety.But ITS DOLLAR GENERAL THO, so we going. Shut up.

Newer store in Ingalls no better than trashy store in Fortville. But YES, we still shop $ stores. Love ' em or hate 'em, we buy steady essentials there.

This place has everything, you just have to find it. Also, its kind of spooky- like your walking through an old bad dream you never forgot, spooky- if speakeasys were still a thing, this would be one.
