Don’t bother coming here. Got my prescription partially filled since they didn’t have inventory. I called to check every 2 days and they said the inventory would come in a couple days…Waited 10 days and my prescription got cancelled. Only found out when I was just casually checking the app no one called me or emailed, nothing. No one picks up the phone even on hold for 20 minutes listening to that dumb Walgreens song. The app chat can’t help at all either. I learned my lesson the hard way. If I needed this medication urgently I would be dead.

Used to be good pharmacy but not anymore had to go 3 days in a roll trying to pick up my baby's prescription I was told they were out of stock, 3rd time I went, lady right away said (we are out of stock come back tomorrow ) and I told her, I had been told the same thing every time I was there then that's how the lady said (let me check) she came back and said (oh I found one) why would you even said you was out of stock before even checking and when my prescription had to be ready 4 days prior to this incident? need to improve your service, you can't be playing with people's health like that

My experience was pretty good, the online photo is pretty cool. If you live downtown Indianapolis, it's a pretty convenient location. The draw back is the customer service, and long lines can try your patience.

It is a wonder why people do not pick up their prescriptions and end up getting worse in their conditions. The first time I came for my prescription there was only one person working the front and back. I had to leave because I was going to miss a meeting. I return the next day during business hours ( at 9:10AM) and the pharmacy is closed, despite the fact the sign says it should have been open. (See photo) No one is in sight and there isn’t an additional sign saying it is closed for the moment. Now I have to return a third time to get my medicine. After this I will not be using this location anymore.

I went in and bought a few things and ended up spending $11. Understandable for inflation but indeed the customer service was appalling. An older looking associate gave me weird glances like I was about to steal. Eerie looks indeed. I would warn people from shopping at this location. Shop at another location or store. Save yourself the time and patience. Some people need to have a more courteous tone in customer service.

The pharmacy is terrible for them to deal with people who depends on their medication and then not to provide great service is beyond me …I waited on hold for 25 mins for them to pick up the phone then hang up

The worst customer service I have ever experienced from a pharmacy. It took two weeks just to get my medication transferred to Walgreens. Then it took a month almost to have my online account accessed to. The main office kept playing games with it. I’m constantly being told one thing and another thing happens. I can’t even get them to give me the correct medication on time without a screw up

I had to wait to pick up my pictures, while the cashier was servicing 1 customer. Another employee walked past me and said nothing. No one acknowledge me until 10 mins later. Once acknowledged, the cashier gave me my pictures and told me i had to wait again. Mind you, behind 8 other people who weren’t there while i was already waiting. Rude service and very unprofessional. Do better and treat customers the way you would like to be treated.

The absolute worst pharmacy in existence. Was in the ER completely unable to see out of left eye. Praying my site will not be damaged permanently and am following up with Ophthalmologist Monday. These meds are important they are for temporary treatment/maintaining/pain. The doctors sent the prescriptions to Walgreens on 16th twice and they still claimed they didn’t receive it. They are completely lazy just not wanting to work because it’s an hour before close. This pharmacy in unprofessional, lack empathy and work ethics.

Avoid this place if you value your time and health. I scheduled a covid test online and showed up for my appointment. Low and behold, the drive-thru testing is closed. I called the store (to avoid going inside), but the only assistance the worker could give me was to reiterate that no testing can be done because the pharmacy is closed. Ended up calling the Walgreens Kessler and they were able to pull up my info and accommodate.Looking at past reviews, it seems like this happens fairly often. Why not take your store offline and keep the system from accepting appointments?

This pharmacy has experienced some challenges since COVID has become part of our norm. However, pharmacy staff member Dale deserves positive recognition. He is always on top of things and is very communicative. I sincerely appreciate his joyful tone on the phone and his sense of urgency when time is of the essence. Thank you Dale for always making my experience positive!

One of the other employees had kindly agreed to let my five-year-old use the public restroom, since it was locked. He was just waiting to finish up ringing somebody out, before he could assist me. Then one rude employee ( African American) prohibited him from opening up the public restroom, and stated that the bathrooms are "closed" .First of all, the restrooms are for public use, second of all there were no signs stating that the bathrooms are either closed or out of order .Walgreens please make sure that when you hire people , they have a kind heart. I just don't understand why someone with so much hate in their heart is allowed to work a job where they have to encounter people. As for the kind gentleman, thank you .

I never used to come here, because I got my prescriptions at CVS and had regularly been treated rudely by the pharmacy at Walgreen's until CVS decided they no longer took my insurance. Ok, fine, I tolerate it, but now I've gone from having 24 hour pick up to whenever they decide they're done that day. They keep cutting pharmacy hours. Incredibly frustrating when you have medications that you have to take that you can't get access to.

Update: (Two years later) This is an example of how one employee can change a customer's opinion of a business. I brought my rating up from one star to four because of the genuine kindness of the pharmacy manager.Yesterday, I was in the store looking at remedies for poison ivy. The pharmacy manager approached my friend and I and said, "poison ivy?" I'm sure my red-swollen face was easy to spot! I didn't see the product that I usually get for this and asked him for his advice. He advised me to wash the infected area with dish soap five times in a row to wash away the ooze. Dry the area and use hydrocortisone cream for the inflammation. Since I had this at home, I ended up saving about $15. I followed his advice and it made a huge difference. He could've walked right by, saying nothing, and I wouldn't have though anything about it. Because he stopped, expressed concern and offered advice, my entire impression of this Walgreens changed. I told him how appreciative I was, we chatted for a moment and I was on my way. I also noticed how nice the store looked. Thank you, Mr. Pharmacist! I'll be back for whatever I may need in the future!*******"My Walgreens"... A Super Spreader Store....The evening before Thanksgiving, I stopped by this Walgreens to pick up some much needed Draino. When I approached the checkout counter, one cashier was helping another customer. At the other checkout, there was an obese man with his mask pulled down to his chin. He was loudly going on and on with the cashier, potentially spreading whatever diseases he may have had. I stayed far away while he was there. At the same time, the cashier was motioning me to check out with her. I continued until he left the area. From his attire, he looked like a security guard (?) for Walgreens. He finally left the area and sat, maskless, at a chair near the entrance (presumably for customers). I asked the cashier if he worked there. She said yes. Meanwhile, maskless in his chair, he sounded like he was coughing up a lung. I asked to see the store manager to report this. The cashier said there WASN'T A MANAGER OR SUPERVISOR ON DUTY! I pretty much went ballistic on the poor cashier. SHAME ON WALGREENS! Your employees don't follow Covid safety guidelines, are unsupervised, yet you're going to distribute the vaccine!?! SHAME! SHAME! SHAME ON WALGREENS!

I went to pick up my pictures that I ordered online. I noticed that the binding for the photo book was not correct. I let the front desk employees know, and they immediately reprinted my pics and put a new binding on them. They also apologized. I’m thankful that they fixed the problem right away, and they did it with kindness.

To a great extent, this probably goes for pharmacy stores in general...But these places seem absolutely ruthless in pursuing profit - much like Big Pharma and the entire US medical service industries behave in general. The modus operandi seems to be to draw in sick or elderly patients who can't and won't go comparison shopping; and who are only going to shop at the 1 store where they get their medicine. Then, effectively holding a monopoly over these vulnerable individuals, the policy is to charge outrageously high prices, and rake in the $$$.Again, I don't think it's fair to single out Walgreen's, or this particular location. Nevertheless, this ruthless pursuit of business profits strikes me as utterly outrageous, and frankly criminal whether "legal" or "unprosecuted," whatever social Darwinist and Libertarian and Objectivist crapola is at the root of American neoliberal economic attitudes. And in case it is not apparent, the US is increasingly falling down the charts in decent countries to live, especially in regards to life expectancy... although part of that comes from such disgusted cynicism that it's no wonder so many opt for suicide nowadays.

Let me start by saying this is not the technician’s fault that they are understaffed. It’s Walgreens fault that they aren’t pulling people from other places to help them out. But the phone answering practices maybe could be changed some. But that said I literally have been trying to get ahold of the pharmacy all day. On two separate occasions I’ve waited on hold for an hour then to only be greeted with “please hold thank you” with no chance to respond. It then rings and hangs up leaving me to repeat the whole cycle over again…

I've been on the phone waiting for the pharmacy for 57 minutes as I type this around minute 38 there was one person ahead of me. I don't want to go until I know my items are ready yesterday the nursing rehab I left kept routing them different places so it delayed my release and still don't know own of they got it sent over properly and it is able to be filled. This is holding up my day covid after effects are real and I can only ly do so much now in a day operating at 25% of myself and energy. Good luck if you have to call here. It is 11:21 a.m. who knew it would take this long? Guess has been on hold an hour bow?!?! 😒😒😒🙄

Look for your prescriptions elsewhere. I've been using this Walgreens, unfortunately, due to proximity but I'm done. There have been several times I've showed up to pick up my prescription only for the pharmacy to be closed even though according to their hours they should be open. Showed up today, a Tuesday, on the way home to pick up a prescription the website says is ready for pickup. IT WAS FILLED TODAY!!! Except when I show up the pharmacy is closed and now it's too late for me to switch this prescription to another pharmacy in time to get today. I'll have to go nearly 24 hours in constant pain due to this. Unacceptable!

The main reason for the low review is because of the pharmacy (though the store has raised prices considerably over the past 2 years). Since they have stopped 24 hour service, the quality of service has declined greatly. I receive notices scripts are ready but when I get there, they aren't. Now that hours are cut-again-service has continued to decline.

Scheduled a COVID vaccine appointment at this location using the Walgreens website, received a confirmation, arrived on time only to be told they don't do vaccines at that location. As a store, it's fine. Things are in stock. It's clean. Employees are kind.

The service at the Walgreens is the worst I have ever received. No one has any clue what’s going on or what they’re doing. I’ve been sitting in the line for an hour and a half and they put a sign up in my face they’re now going to lunch. I was on hold with them for over 2 hours. The last time I was told my rx was out of stock… come to find out my insurance just didn’t cover it because it was name brand. They still refused to send the generic and made me pay full price for a covered mediation. If I didn’t need it I would have just went elsewhere. Just have your medications sent somewhere else it will save you time.

Most of my interactions with the many Walgreens stores around the country have been 4--5 Star. Recently, we had critical medical equipment shipped to the Walgreens at 16th Street and Meridian. Although we had confirmation that the package was waiting for us, when we called and showed up, none of the employees could find the package. Finally, we made a 2nd trip to the store to talk to the manager and just before we left, he decided to..."check in the back."Well, guess what? Our package has been sitting in the back all day. If this Walgreens wants to be a FedEx Hub, they need to understand that some shipments are critical and their employees should know alternate places in the store where packages might be stored. Please strive to be improve.

I promised when I visited the store today I would offer people other options. It is unfortunate that they do not look at other ways to provide services to the customer. Thus the reason they are closing some of their stores. But. . . Back to what I promised! If you are tired of never getting anyone on the phone in the pharmacy, or waiting hours in the line to speak with the Pharmacist only to find you have to wait longer to get the actual prescription I offer you a few options. . . .First, may I suggest you do the following no matter what pharmacy or where it is you choose:1. Always have them call or text you when prescription is ready for pickup.2. Have them put you on auto refill if it benefits you.3. Pick a company or location that you can get to at any business hour, even if it is on the bus (seems to me that even on the bus you could be done considering all the time you have spent waiting in line, or on the phone, at this location).4. When prescription needs renewal, call your doctor and let them work with the pharmacy.NOW FOR YOUR OPTIONS-----Option 1You can transfer your prescription(s) to another pharmacy (Walgreens or another company). If you stick with Walgreens, most if not all locations can transfer you over the phone. If you are switching pharmacy companies (like Walgreens to CVS), the new pharmacy can usually complete the transfer for you once you have told them what you want transferred and for whom.Option 2If you have insurance that has mail service, use them (usually have their own pharmacy). They also offer auto refill. The only down side is they cannot deliver pain meds through the mail. Those of you who heard me mention 2 weeks notice, that is in reference to allowing enough time to complete the transfer and be in a position to deliver meds in time on the first delivery. After that, it is all automatic unless you desire to change something.Hope you find this useful and pass it on to anyone you know who could benefit from it. May we ALL return to good health without the stress of managing prescriptions.

My RX has been in progress for A WEEK. Nobody will answer the phone. If you go to the drive thru you will sit there for over an hour before someone checks on you. Imagine if this was a life saving prescription that I needed… luckily it can wait. But I can’t even cancel and fill somewhere else because these people will not answer the phone. Surprised this location hasn’t been closed down.

It's so crazy how many hours of your life you have to invest to get a prescription filled. Anything you try to fill on the website doesn't get filled so you have to call in to the store. Then there is always a crazy line. Then they lose your prescription. Then they have filled one of your prescriptions but not the other. They are very terrible at their core function.

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever encountered. I waited 30+ minutes in line for them to tell me my prescription wasn’t ready and I’d have to return the next day because they now close at 3pm. Then I came back the following morning, waited an hour only to be told the exact same thing. How much longer am I expected to go without my prescription?!

Got a call from walgreens 2 hours prior to my scheduled COVID 19 PCR test saying that they cannot do the test because they don' have the test available.I asked them why they didn't call earlier and apparently they don't know who to contact until the day of the test. I asked them which other local Walgreens has the test available and if they are able to fit me in at a different location and they couldn't help me with it.Now I am stuck trying to find another COVID PCR test before my international trip 3 days from today. All other Walgreens locations are already booked up until 1 day prior to my trip.I would schedule your test somewhere else or make sure to book several others to make sure you don't have this happen to you as well.

I scheduled a Covid test and received confirmation email. I went to test. Drive-thru is closed and has been for sometime. No one bothered to tell me that I would not be tested here. An entire day lost because Walgreens and the staff at this location couldn't be bothered. It is too late for me to be tested anywhere else. There is no fixing this.
