Whenever I need groceries and I am in the area I go to Sav-A-Lot. I am never disappointed. I can get named brand sausage that other area stores don't sell. I really like the meat department and I have not been disappointed. The other areas are also filled with items not seen at other stores. I will be going back.

Clean and well stocked. Not enough staff. The one cashier working had to literally yell for help and a second cashier. Apparently there's no PA system. Second cashier that came out to assist was hateful and rude. Hope and pray she wasn't the manager cause she doesn't deserve the position.

Love this place great for just running in to grab some quick groceries they also offer the fresh bucks program when you buy fruit or vegetables they will reimburse you up to $10 so that way you can come back and even buy more fruit and they have great variety of fruit the only thing is they cut up most of the fruit precut up some people might like that it's a lot easier I just feel like I could get more fruit if I cut it up myself for my family

This is the nicest cleanest well stocked Sav A Lot I've ever been in. Great team of employees. Nicest selection of produce and meats and the rest of everything else. I won't shop anywhere else again. Thank you for having such a nice store.

I came in for ice cream for my class. They had chocolate vanilla ice cream for under $5 a gallon so that was a success. The store looks like it was very clean and I was in and out quickly.

Everyone should check this location out!! Very clean & organized!! Wonderful lady that checked us out!! She was about to go on break but decided to stay & help clear up the lines first. Meats were fantastic & above expectations. Had everything I usually get at Kroger for a lower price on much of it. I did pay more for certain, brand name items like my coffee & creamer, but not much & it is to be expected since everything else is so much cheaper! Their bread was wonderful & fresh. Well stocked. This will be my family’s go to grocery store from now on!! Great job SaveALot crew!!

This store had reasonably priced items. They had a decent supply and variety of fresh produce. The store was clean, and well lit and stocked. I was able to find adequate parking and get in and out fairly quickly. The staff was friendly and helpfu. I went on a Friday around noon. Great place for the budget conscious to prepare healthy meals.

Great place to get basic groceries.Much cheaper than the big stores.Small box concept, so there is no clothing and no jewelry counters, and you don't have to walk "a mile" to get a gallon of milk or a loaf of bread.You have to bring your own bags, or grab a box on your way thru the store. They sell both paper and plastic bags at the register.Nothing fancy. No sushi bar, no salad bar, no olive bar, no deli, no fresh fish.But they do have fresh vegetables, fresh potatoes, white bread & wheat bread, inexpensive milk and other dairy products, and a nice selection of fresh meat.The freezer section has ice cream and frozen dinners and the sandwich pockets.

It was great like always. They didn't have the WIC approved bread and I didn't have enough money to pay for the 2 wheat 🍞's so instead of voiding them and getting an attitude like most cashiers now a days. She paid for my bread!!! God bless you save a lot cashier for buying our children sandwich bread!!!

Nice little family grocery store. The only complaint was that I had to use the restroom, once I proceeded to wash my hands, I dispense some soap on my hands only to realize the water was not working, had to use the hand dryer to just dry the soap up on my hands.

Really, the cashiers are very nice, but others are kind, the other time I was going to return a bag of potatoes and the cashier told me to take it with me that there was no problem. and they should invest in the baskets sometimes one, it does not take to buy many things

I like shopping there but you have a long line in check out and not enough cashiers between the hours of 4 and 6pm. It makes me want to put my things down and walk out. I have also seen cold items sitting in a basket waiting to be put up and meat sitting on the pop machine not being put up right away and that's not good.

I enjoy going to see my Save a lot family the store is getting better than before. But I wish the cashiers would stop putting up signs saying no cash back. Some of the new cashiers can be very rude at times.

I would never go in here again. They hacked my foodstamp card for $282.00, and they act like they don't know what's going on. Shame on you save a lot

Everytime I go into the store. It is the same. Almost no one is there. So I shop. By the time I go to check out. There is a line. No one person only at the register. So the process that looked as if it would take no time. Now is taking more time then I choose to give. Once it w as said that the customer is always right. Retail was that way. I was not allowed to have a long line. Check out process had to be fast or you were fired and our register was not computerized. The store works against the customer today. They just don't care. I was in a hurry or I would have never stopped. It will be a long time again before I come back. I will try to avoid them.

Clean, low prices, lines could be faster but its ok. You can bring your own bag to to bag your groceries. But they have bags to purchase. Plenty of parking. They also have a armed security on duty.

This happened 9/12/2020 at about 8pm. I just didn't fell welcome. I was from out of town went in for snacks. I asked for the bathroom and the lady asked was I going to buy something "I said yes". The security guard had to show me and my husband where it was when all the lady had to do is point to the direction of the bathroom. It was a bit too much. And there was no tissue Thank God I had some in my purse.

The employees are rude and need to go back into training to learn customer service skills. No greeting customers as the wait in line to be checked out. Only attitudes towards the customers are displayed. I will not shop at this Franchise off 38th again and I will discourage my friends and family to not shop there as well.

For a while save a lot has been one of my favorite places to grocery shop. Lately ive noticed that the price has gotten high and quantity of food has gotten less they have also started charging for thin bags that used to be thick. Ive ask why the high prices, staff reply that customers have been stealing.. Although this may be true. How long are we gona be punished for the things others do, there hasnt been a drop in prices yet. The off brand food cost more than the name brand. Save a lot also pays seven dollars a hour. I feel like the company is the ones saving not the customers or workers..

I shopped early when they first open. Store was clean inside & out. One of the freezers was not working right. The frozen burgers were warm & unthawed. Not safe.

I love save a lot...great store great prices... But the one located 2930 East 38th street Indianapolis IN 46218 has this one famale worker with red braids in her hair is a very very nasty awful worker!! Very disrespectful rude..no manors at all...they need to let her go! Because of that one worker I no longer go there to shop anymore...I used to go shop there everyday...every single day!!!
