Love that when you walk in they say hello and ask if you need help. And if you do need something they actually help you! They are knowledgeable and not judgmental even if your question is weird/incredibly simple. They just solve your problem and say you're welcome.

This place is like the perfect friendly neighborhood hardware store. They always seem to have what I need, are open when I need and conveniently located. The staff always seem to be in a good mood and there are just good vibes all around, it feels like a family there. Plus, I always seem to be visiting during their “happy hour” where they have a discount on all items. What’s not to love?

I love going to this store. A few of the staff were wearing masks as I have heard previous complaints about the lack thereof. A salesperson was a pretty condescending to me, I'll consider it an isolated incident because I arrived at the store shortly after they opened, maybe he wasn't awake yet. Anyway this is a well stocked and maintained store. I could probably spend an hour or so discovering the array of items. Most of the prices are reasonable. A great local business to patronize!

I am a black construction worker and dirty when I go in to buy items for my job. The light skinned woman always gives me a evil look and tells the staff to watch me. Never a good experience there.

My daughter recently moved into an area near Fusek's store. I had no idea this establishment was even there! We went inside and experienced some of the best customer service that I have ever had. Friendly, helpful and funny. Needed screws that cost less than a dollar but I felt compelled to help a small business so I purchased a few other items that I didn't need at the time but would certainly use. Great place and will go back there before I go the extra distance to a Lowe's or Home Depot.

I just prefer this hardware store over others the staff is always very friendly very helpful and I find their prices are cheaper than Ace hardware on a lot of their stuff and today was no exception I was looking for the bolts to put my day bed together in an ace they were almost $9 here it was only $5. Absolutely love their prices and it's just a nice homebound hardware store.

Very very helpful. Very friendly. Will show you the full range of options, not just the expensive ones. I made a pegboard wall rack for my cooking lids. They employees really took time to make sure I had everything on my list. I highly recommend this store.

Impression: Convenient downtown hardware store with local hardware store feel. They carry most items you will need/looking for and are INCREDIBLY helpful and knowledgeable.Pros: Carry just about anything you might need. Is great for those situations when you just need one tool or item and don't want to go fight the crowds or travel away from downtown to a larger store. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and know where items are in the store so you don't have to spend much time looking for your desired product.Cons: Sometimes is more expensive that if you would wander to a larger hardware store (read: Lowes or Home Depot).Conclusion: Good for convenience, downtown needs a hardware store and this place so far is the staple with that has most items you will need with knowledgeable, friendly staff.

The feeling of a small town hardware store in middle of a big city. The store is clean and well-organized. The staff is SO friendly and knowledgeable. Never had such a good experience buying something as mundane as screws and bolts.

I work downtown, so it's great to be able to stop in here on the way home instead of having to make an extra trip to a big box store. As long as you don't need full sheets of plywood or a washing machine, they have everything you could need from a hardware store. Also, like everyone's said, super helpful staff, and a clean, well stocked, well organized store.

Wow the price gouging here should be criminal. I get it they are downtown and not close to anything but a door knob that is $13 at lowes is $44 here. Unbelievable!-See for yourself and look up items at lowes and compare the prices. Ridiculous

Far and away the best part about Fusek's is the service. Everyone is very friendly and knows their stuff. If they don't, they know who to ask. I recently purchased an old home with an old lock on the front door. I went in with questions about replacing the lock and was directed to speak with one employee who was a locksmith for 30 years.They are a little pricier than the big box stores on some things, and because it's not a big box store they don't have as much stuff in stock, but the service more than makes up for that. They also match prices with Amazon.

I love this hardware store. They carry a large variety of products. I can find what I need here 99% of the time. They also have the best customer service! They always ask you if they can help you as soon as you walk in. It is a stark contrast to most of the big box stores where it seems that employees either ignore you or hide from you when you need help.

Not much to add to what's already been said. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful which is what keeps me coming back. You can't compare prices to big box stores but they're still fair. Occasionally I've even found products here that I couldn't find at Lowe's.

Very very friendly people. I had an issue with stuck screw in my license plate. Kenny told me to pull my car around front and he helped me get it out and replace the pieces. He was getting late and he still stayed till the end to make sure I was all set. Awesome service!

Real experts. Helpful and friendly. They want you to get the job done, whether you buy something from them, or somewhere else. They actually have an excellently curated inventory - it's rare they don't have what I need. When they don't, they know just where to send me. Add all that up, and you save hours of online research, returning incorrect items, or driving halfway to Kentucky to get to a Home Depot/Lowes where the staff aren't nearly as helpful or knowledgable.

Great spot. They have "happy hour" and sales so I sometimes get better prices here than at a big box store or Amazon. The staff here is helpful/knowledgeable. Certainly one of the better stocked "family" style hardware stores.

Stopped in during Gen Con 2017 to pick up a Lazy Susan to help demo a game. I asked a question about how to attach a display top to the turntable part, and almost immediately Joe was designing and creating a top-notch demo table from scratch. In 20 minutes, I had my rotating display table ready to go, and they only charged for the $20 of materials!Really friendly and incredibly helpful. Very glad I stopped in!

My husband goes here all the time to pick up items when he working downtown or nearby. They always remember him and always helpful. Great place to go and within walking distance of a grocery store and other locations.
