The pharmacy staff is rude, like they don't even want to help you. You, the customer, are a nuisance and they want you out of their hair. Not to mention their prescriptions are more expensive than at any other pharmacy. Only use them as a last resort.

The people in the pharmacy are not the nicest set of individuals. I did go in once and a guy helped me and he was nice but the females seem to hate their jobs or something. I don’t know I think they could use better customer service skills. Nothing even crazy just tone of voice, you say “thank you, bye” and they just hang up. I had questions once’s and the woman gave off body language like that annoyed her. I find it rude is all.

Requested refill online ahead of time to prevent any problems . Checked online and order was to be ready 2/7 by noon. Checked on 2/7 and order was to be ready by 3p. Received text about 3p that would be ready soon. Went to store at 4p. Not only was it not ready, they did not have it in stock and couldn’t tell me when they would. Snot-nosed kid said that’s just how their system works. Pathetic!

26 years I've been coming to this pharmacy. They were friendly and patient-oriented for a long time. The pandemic changed many things. But I still expect to be treated like a human being by human beings. In the past few years, I feel I've been treated more like a number than a person. Recently, it has gotten even worse. Last night, I waited on hold for 20 minutes before hanging up. I was trying to find out if they had received a prescription from my doctor. My car is in the shop, so I have to depend on someone else to take me to pick up my prescription. So it was necessary to know if they had filled in my prescription. I decided to wait till later to call, when maybe they weren't so busy. It was 8:03, and they had already closed. They used to stay open till 9:00. I called again this morning and waited 15 minutes before someone finally answered. I asked if my prescription was ready. I found out they had not even gotten it off the computer, even though it had been called in early yesterday afternoon. I asked the pharmacist if my 15 to 20 minute wait on the phone was normal. She said yes. I informed her that I'll probably move my prescriptions to Walmart since they answer the phone every single time. They've always been friendly when I've picked up my boyfriend's prescriptions there. All she could say was okay. And tell me that my prescription would be ready in an hour. It was very nice of her to tell me that they would be ready so quickly after I had waited this long, but I intend to move my prescriptions immediately. I'm very disappointed. I know they and many other businesses have had staffing problems since the pandemic. But I can't understand why CVS continues to experience this problem, if this is even the reason for the decline in customer service. Other pharmacies have managed to meet their staffing goals and are still providing the kind of service we all expect and deserve.

Prescriptions are never ready on time (even if we receive a text saying it’s ready, it’s not when we get there), often times don’t have the prescription and rather than finding a location that does they tell us that we have to call around to ask, they never have our insurance on file even though we have had the same insurance for a decade, it’s literally always something! We will be switching pharmacies!

The pharmacist and the young lady at checkout that are working at this very moment, helped me immensely. I’m in a lot of pain and so I can’t recall the young lady’s but the gentlemen in pharmacy had a tag name “Robinson” I believe! Robinson was very informative. I explained my conditions and that current over-counter medication isn’t working for me anymore. He recommended assisted me in locating what I’m looking for. As the for the front register, she noticed my purchase didn’t for some reason reflect my discount even though it accepted it. I almost walked away paying full price and she caught it before I left. Refunded me after some verification and rung me up with the corrected total! Both saved me from having unbearable worsening conditions and loss of savings when I, myself, was unable to focus. Thank you for the best customer experience! Hope CVS notices because they are amazing for still working hard being extremely under staffed!

Store is 100% mark up on normal everyday items. Their Crew pomade is $22/3oz. $9.99/3oz. on amazon, absolute joke of a store. Save your money and spend it elsewhere.

Over the last year or so, this pharmacy has completely gone to rot. The majority of the techs are either untrained or just don't care, but either way they're rude and unhelpful. They'll answer a question with "I don't know" and expect that to be an adequate answer instead of asking another tech or the pharmacist, and that would be a a lighter complaint about them. The only time any of my pharmacy experiences go smoothly is when I'm going in to pay and pick up, but that's after all of the drama of getting it filled has already happened. If my insurance would allow it, I'd go to a completely different pharmacy chain all together.

Time and time again this place continues to disappoint, pharmacist has the worst attitude problem and you can’t even blame them. Drive the distance somewhere else if you can you won’t regret it.

My dentist sent in a perceptions to this pharmacy on 9/9/23 for pain and a antibiotic. I was in severe pain for over a week. when I went to pick up the perceptions the pharmacy was closed all day because no one showed up to work. I returned to pharmacy next day on 9/10/23 to find out they were still closed because the pharmacy people did not show up for work again did not. being in severe pain, for third day I still do not my perceptions. If this is the way they treat their customers they need to shut this place down. still in severe pain

One of the worst pharmacies I’ve ever had to use. The pharmacist/pharmacy techs are incredibly lazy. They had me jumping through hoops calling different numbers to try and get a medication approved, when all along they needed to submit the override on their end. My insurance contacted them on my behalf and got it straightened out, but when I tried to call them back I waited on hold for 15 minutes. Only for someone to pick the phone up and slam it down at 1:30 on the dot so they could go to lunch. And they ALWAYS have issues here. I don’t even see the point of keeping this location open at this point.

Came in to get a prescription at 4pm that was called in at 2. They stated it wasn't done and they needed 30 minutes. 30 minutes, no problem. Came back in a hour. Still not done and was told another 20 minutes.This is a pharmacy and if you cannot fill prescriptions in the time frame you claim you should get another pharmacist to help. It's Tuesday. Absolutely no excuse for this.

I went through the drive through to pick up a prescription. I wanted to use goodrx since the prescription was not covered my insurance. The lady said goodrx was factored in and the price she was telling me was the best price. Once I got inside and waited another 20 minutes, the pharmacist told me it takes too long to do goodrx. So the lady lied to me because it could take her a few minutes to do it and the pharmacist is ok with them lying.

The 2 Pharmacists are great. Very knowledgeable and highly communicative to all customers. I am concerned over the counter staff not being trained well, and that's due to employee retention...or lack there of. The counter staff can't answer questions. They don't know how to access areas of the computer. Especially info about auto refills.

DO NOT! I repeat: DO NOT deal with this pharmacy. We’ve been using them a coue years now cuz it’s conveniently close, so this isn’t me complaining after a couple bad experiences. For beginners, they are usually pretty rude, as if you’re interrupting their day. Second, they’re sooooooooo slow! Whether on the phone (which they likely won’t answer anyway) or in the drive thru. Going inside isn’t as bad, but why should someone have to go inside? I’m about to switch my stuff to the Walmart in beech grove. If you know that Walmart, you would know how hard it is to deal with them too.. but definitely better than these quacks. Just sending out a beware signal to let you know to pass that pharmacy and go to the next.Currently waiting on the phone. Hung up on after 25 min. Then waited 15 min and nobody answered. I called the store manager to transfer the call. Been on hold since before starting this review.

If I could give zero stars, or a negative star rating, I would. We have been trying to get a post surgery script filled for 2 days. The "pharmacist" claims that the script was wrong and we had to wait for the doctors office to call the next day. The nurse called us and told us that he read it incorrectly. Since then, 8 hours ago, we have been waiting for it to be correctly filled. I have called and been disconnected twice...after a 30 min hold time. Currently still on hold for the last 30 min even after talking to the store manager. She was only able to transfer me to them...Absolutely unacceptable. This is why I fill all my scripts at Meijer. Would absolutely NEVER use this pharmacy again, would go to Walmart, who has better customer service this this cracker jack place. If you have an urgent or must have RX GO TO MEIJER!

I'm not sure if it's due of lower compensation or a staffing shortage, but pharmacy employees are trying their best to keep rude behavior. However, the 'I don't know' response from them causes people suffer.

The employees at his store saved my brother. He walked in and asked for help. It turns out he was having a major heart attack. They were able to remain calm and keep him safe and monitor his vitals until EMS arrived. He is safe and already back home after having a stent placed in his heart. I will be forever grateful. Thank you all !!!!!!!!

We received a text advising that our prescription was ready. This is a prescription for our cat who has cancer, so it’s fairly urgent. I arrived to pick up the prescription and CVS claimed our vet never called it in. They were not able to offer any explanation as to why we got the text. I called the vet, who confirmed the prescription was sent in 2 days prior. The pharmacists said that the vet should call them and leave it on their voicemail. They were in a real hurry to get to that lunch break. Here’s hoping we can actually get the prescription!

Unfortunately this CVS is not at all customer service friendly. The service is so pitiful that I feel that it is necessary to switch pharmacies even though this store is the closest to my home. An example is on 9/29/2022 when trying to call to refill a prescription, wait time was almost 41min.and then cut off.

I'd like to give 0My Dr. called in meds at NOON 3/14. I patiently waited till 4:30 3/15 to pick them up. Giving them 16 WORKING hours to fill them. I was told "I just got here, I don't know what's going on" I was told I could wait 20 minutes, I asked will they be ready IF I come back tomorrow? Didn't really get an answer. I called at 6:18 pm to see when I could expect them to be ready. Sat on hold for 43:21 after a half hour still on hold I drove over there. When I was told they were not ready I said I was already told that. I told the person I would sit right here and be waiting. Someone came to the window and gave me the short staffed speal and told me to move on. I left... I went down the road to decide what I was going to do and in an act of GOD 8 MINUTES after I pulled away a text came that my prescriptions were ready. I went back. I waited and when the lady came to the window with my meds she told me that they were not ready because I told the pharmacist that I would be back TOMORROW. As I couldn't wrap my heard around it I just said back, well I'm allowed to change my mind. She was going on and on, about what I did WRONG! I told her I would not be back and she said THAT'S GOOD! As she handed me my meds she said HAVE A FANTASTIC NIGHT! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES so sad. Go elsewhere for your prescriptions.

There is a constant turnover in staff. They are seriously understaffed espec w qualified knowledgable ppl and all are overworked. The pharmacy is consistently unexpectedly closed. The app info is incorrect n inconsistent w pharmacist. He has no concern for that.Most of all n worse of all, the pharmacist has no concern over your health as it relates to his pharmaceutical practice in any direction. They lie about the timing filling. They blame the customer n hang up on you. Even the store manager is rude. Corporate is even worse as is their wholesaler. They will take your info then tell you they can't answer any ?'s due to policy n hang up. Possibly stopping the 2nd medication or driving a good distance due to their major disregard to my health as it relates to practice in issuing medication or providing consultative comprehensive seamless pharmaceutical care. Pretty risky pharmacy to rely on.

This pharmacy used to be pretty good. Now I can't get ANYTHING filled without a major headache. Spending 30+ minutes on wait and transferring my scripts without checking that the other store even has any.

I went to refill a prescription. I was out and had to use CVS (as a last resort). Called them, they said they got the prescription from my doctor and it would be ready at 5:05 pm. I went at 5:05 pm and they said that they could not get it done until 7:00 pm. I came back at 7:00 pm and they said they did not have the prescription and would not have it until tomorrow. This is a medication that is needed urgently, thus why I called my doctor and worked to make sure that I could get it tonight. This is the exact reason I never use CVS. Customer service sucks.

I am switching my prescriptions... Called in my prescription at 9:00 this morning, it is5:00, prescription is not r ady, I understand short staffed, mention it instead of me calling 3 times, to have someone say it will be ready in15 minutes... I have had prescriptions given to me that I haven't taken for 3 months .. mistakes after mistakes in the last 5 years ... No reason for it.... You all make good money, so why are you acting like you make $8.00 an hour?????!!!!!

Have waited on “HOLD” for a total of 12 minutes on first call and upon redialing waited another 9 ! Staff is not answering their phone and has often not found prescription orders sent in by doctor.

The pharmacy staff was so helpful yesterday! They were so patient and kind and went out of their way to help me get a prescription transferred to a different CVS location! We always have great service at this store, but yesterday they went above and beyond!
