We love camp and can really see how much they love our Asher. Asher gets so excited coming to camp either when boarding or daycare. The counselors all always show excitement when they see him. We would be lost without camp in our lives. So convenient to have it close to the house and take Asher there during the day while we do our running around and not keeping him locked up in the cage for hours.

The staff always welcomes our girls with a smile! I love the monthly events they have as well! They do a great job with grooming and I feel safe leaving the pups there while we’re on a vacation that they can’t go on! I love that they have cameras in their play rooms and their luxury suites!

My dogs have been coming here for years and have a great time! They've stayed overnight and been to day camp. They even do enrichment time with your dogs every Wednesday and Thursday with a fun theme. Really love this place and the people who work there.

I can't say enough great things about Camp Bow Wow Southport. Live video mobile apps and squeaky clean facilities. The dogs are separated by size and play style. The play areas are indoor/outdoor accessible. The dog care specialists are trained and certified. I take my pup here any time we go out of town, need a nail dremel or just to get out some energy. He loves camp!

Cleanest Dog Care Facility my wife and I have ever seen. That's important when it comes to preventing germs and disease from spreading. Pup cams helped us feel safe. We could watch our pup any time. We like that the yards were separated, 4 different types to match up the right dog groups. This is our dog's home away from home. They even have a private photographer who comes in to take pictures once per week!

Camp Bow Wow is just what we need for our fur baby, Andre. I work from home all week and so I’m here with him but he is an only child and gets bored. The half day option is so affordable and provides the opportunity to get Andre his much needed socialization and gets him moving more than when he is at home. The interview day was seamless and easy! The staff are all super friendly and I LOVE that I can check in through the camper cam anytime I want!

As the human to a new puppy, we had LOTS of choices to make concerning our pup's socialization and boarding options. There are a lot of options for everything out there and choosing who to trust is a difficult choice but we were blown away by our pup's first visit to Camp. Being able to watch our baby play while we are away is the very best. Even pup's grandma and grandpa checked in on her throughout her first day!Our sweet baby is quite spoiled and loves being cuddled. She was spotted many times on the cams being petted and cuddled by a Counselor. She had him quickly wrapped around her little paw!She slept so well the entire night after her return home and I'm sure she can't wait to visit again soon! Thanks for taking such great care of our pup!

Taylor did a great job grooming our mini schnauzer! She was a fluffy mess when we brought her in and she is looking so pretty now just in time for the warm summer weather. Will definitely be going back :)

Staff is great with my dog. I was taking my dog to another daycare and he seemed to be stressed when I picked him up each day. I tried Camp Bow Wow Southport and it has been much better. He doesn't come out upset or stressed at all. I like that dogs are divided up by size, all dogs have access to both inside and outside areas, and they genuinely care about your pet. Plus, it is always fun to check up on your pet during the day with their webcams. Price is reasonable.

We're so happy that we were able to find a place that we can trust to take care of our dog when we're out of town. It brings us peace of mind that we can watch her on the app to know she's ok and is having a good time. Our dog always gets excited to be there when we pull up to the door. I love that the staff always greets her with excitement when she goes in. The staff is always friendly and willing to accommodate us and our dog to make sure she is comfortable.

My dog dolly was there for a number of days while we were on vacation. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. The dogs are given the best and most thoughtful care. We recently moved to the area and we were a bit worried about my 4-year old German Shepherd being able to acclimate to a new doggy daycare (since he'd been at his old place since he was 4 months old). However, he loves Southport Camp Bow Wow. You guys go above and beyond to keep things fun and switching things up with the different engagement days, and every single team member remembered and recognized Oden by name by the second or third visit. We love that we can check in on him on the camper cams, and see that he's being well cared for. And we feel assured that he's getting the attention he deserves and that he's having a ton of fun while he's there. You all have surpassed my expectations and I'm so glad we found you.

Only positive words! Strong communication from staff and love that they can do Bordetella vaccine on site. Staff is always happy and enthusiastic to see our dog. We enjoy the camera feature while on vacation, especially for our daughter.

The reason I scored so low is not cuz of the working staff. They r great with the animals it is the Manger. The person is very racist. It's sad I've got to say it about my own type but it true. They like to keep their so called other ppl happy and careless about the others who aren't in their race category. It's so sad into today's society ppl still got to be that way.

Our dog Phoebe is extremely friendly and that can be a lot to handle. Somehow they groom her perfectly, even though I know she doesn't sit still. Everyone I've interacted with has been helpful and friendly. Most importantly, they LOVE our dog and we know she's happy at camp. :)

Camp Bow Wow has been great! This is the only place I take my doodle to get groomed. The daycare during the day has been wonderful, my doodle loves it! I love that I can peak on her during the day on the cameras. I have boarded all three of my dogs here and all has been great! I would definitely recommend, the staff has always been great!

There are really no words to describe them! They are SOOOOOOOO VERRRYYYYY EXCELLENT with Ralph and all of the fur babies!!!!! He is so excited to get to "school" every morning! He has so many little and big friends there. The staff couldn't be any better if they tried! They are so loving, responsive, attentive, you just feel safe leaving your fur baby there! It is nice to hear them say every morning "have a nice day!" That may sound trite - but it is just comforting. I love being able to go on the cameras and watch Ralph and "his squad" as they run, romp, and have so much fun!!!!I also LOVE the fact that not every dog gets in! Ralph is small - and I know that there are vicious teacups and small dogs! The same holds true for the larger dogs! That just makes sense to keep all of the fur babies and the staff safe!Kudos and soooooooooo many thanks for how much love you show to Ralph and all of the other babies there!

It saddens me to type this review as I was a huge supporter of Camp Bow Wow Southport, however, in recent events my review has gone from 5 to 1.While the staff are super friendly and accommodating, adjustments need to be made in order to keep the dogs safe (young/old, big/small). I had been taking my 4 yr. old pup since last year and I started taking my 6 month old puppy within the last month or so. My puppy has developed pneumonia from her boarding/day care stay. The play areas are only divided into 2 sections and the dogs of all sizes are mixed together, sometimes there's 20+ dogs in one area. Recently I was watching the cameras helplessly as an older/bigger dog lashed out at my puppy for just being close to it. I thought the dogs had to go through an evaluation prior to becoming a member?I'm not new to doggie day cares, I've taken my older pup to 2 other facilities when I lived on the northside and never had issues, in fact, she has been to day camps since she was 4-5 months old. Those facilities split up the sizes of dogs and typically kept puppies with other puppies and didn't mix.... I'm very disappointed with how I see the set up these days.Not trying to sound dramatic but after rushing my puppy to the ER with a fever of 105 (106 can be fatal), liquid in her lunges, and a $2000 vet bill. I will no longer be back and will take my pups to a more one on one interactive facility.

I have four doggies I would always take to Camp Bow Wow Southport location regularly for full bath and grooming. For the most part, I was happy with their care there. They looked adorable when picking them up. I did, for the most part, always meet with the groomers before sending them back just to personally speak with and go over what we wanted, because sometimes they needed a little different care. They may need a little more or a little less here and there taken off. They said they had it in their notes also. A few times, I did say something about their cuts afterward. I think three times in the three years we went there. They apologized, and again, the next visit, they were all adorable again. They did great! The last time I took them, though, my smallest little yorky came out and smelled less than fresh. Her hair was as long as it was when going back. And she was boot scooting across the floor as soon as she entered our home. I always asked for anul glands to be done also. They don't do that unless it is asked for. It's included in full grooming price, just not done unless specifically asking for that service. I do ask. Anyway, when I called up there to ask about what they did with my little one, the lady argued with me. She was quite rude, insisting that they did what they clearly didn't do. I took before photos and after photos. I haven't been back since. It's now been maybe a few months. I thought I would call again and take them back. Maybe it was just a bad day. We all have them. As I said, for the most part, the groomers did good work. I think one groomer is better than others for us. But they, the majority of the time, did great. When I called yesterday, they made our appointments. However, a couple hours later, I got a phone call from the owner himself being quite rude, telling me he was canceling my appointments. I asked him why? He said because I complained too much and am high maintenance. He asked me not to return to Camp Bow Wow in the future. I have to admit I was pretty shocked. However, I'm good with that. I have four dogs we took there regularly every 6 to 8 or so weeks. And I DO expect them to be smelling good and looking like they have had hair cuts when they are picked up. And yes. If they aren't looking or smelling like they have had anything done, then I will talk with them. If that is not something they can provide, then I am good with not coming back. I have also noticed the ones at the desk have been not as friendly as ones in the past had been. They used to have friendly staff. But as time went on, things appeared to have changed and gone downhill. The smell had gotten a little bad when taking them there also. So I am good with taking my babies somewhere where the staff won't argue and be rude when confronted with an occasional problem. I will be high maintenance if that is what you call it. And we won't be back. No more Camp Bow Wow for this family.

My dogs love it at CBW Southport. They get so excited when we go there! I’ve tried a few other doggie daycares but didn’t feel as comfortable leaving my pups there. Whereas at CBW you can tell they really care about the dogs! I feel completely secure leaving them for daycare and for boarding. I also love the ability to check in on them on the cameras during playtime and to have peace of mind that they are safe and having fun while I’m away. They’ve always done a great job with grooming as well. The prices are super reasonable! A lot of daycares make you pay fees for adding play time during boarding which is so silly. CBW has an all for one fee for half day, full day, or overnight. They also have specials depending on the day of the week and cute themed enrichment days! I absolutely love love love it here and am so happy I found a great place for my fur babies.

Camp Bow Wow is a terrific place for our dog and he loves going there for either day care or a longer stay.I was not a fan of "doggy daycare" places initially, but Camp Bow Wow is interactive and the dogs get to play and socialize.Camp Bow Wow does a good job screening "campers" before allowing them to stay, too. We haven't heard of, or seen any violent dogs or those that are inclined to fight or bite. Naturally, all dogs are required to have their vaccines before boarding, too.We also use the grooming services at Camp Bow Wow--we've been very pleased with their service and prices, and they're in a convenient location.

The person checking us in was nice. That's the best part of this stay. Our dog was never in the outdoor play yard which is actually inside too. These dogs are put in a room and walk for hours on end. They potty in the room and the attendant cleans it up. We counted at least 25 large dogs in that room from the camera. Now our dog has kennel cough which is no surprise! We will definitely make sure we get our reservation in at our regular kennel early enough before school breaks so we definitely have a spot!
